Sir Randz, that's a very interesting topic. Parasitic loss is inherent to any equipment liable for wear and tear as car engines are. The components that contribute to such losses are very much detailed in your item extensively while consumption calculation is a bit logical. You mentioned the alternator, but I guess you failed to include the battery which stores the power converted from mechanical to electrical by the alternator. All electrical components which then affects the performance of an engine depend on the efficiency of the car's battery from the time we switch on our cars. Parasitic loss is there from the time cars leave the manufacturing stage and varies according to age and wear and tear phenomenon. To get more MPG on petrol always keep the fuel tank above 80%. Ambient temp is already enough to make gasoline evaporate. Pag konti laman ng fuel tank mas madami fuel nag eevaporate. This method will not work on diesel dahil mataas boiling point.

Teknik ko kapag nag drive ako ng Grand Starex namin naka open gap sa hood para may hangin man lang na makapasok sa loob atleast may kaunti tulong kahit malakas ang ulan promise okey no problem naman... tested kuna lumalakas ang hatak po. Multiply nu po,say un 65pesos/liter s amount ng fuel nagamit in liter devided ng kilometers n natakbo nito.say. 65pesos/l x 1liter/10km =6,5pesos/km.take note po kung hi-way or city driving.17km/l po mix driving sedan using hypermiling technique.
