I think Birdo still performed quite well on some minigames so I don't think she was too young actually... also you can tell by her reactions after she lost so many coins to Ryu after his duel, Birdo got quite angry and wanted revenge against him at all costs, and I don't think a 7 years old can be so vengeful for a game...lol

Well, Luigi was too risky of a move since he's a very good player. And Mario didn't have enough coins. Birdo was easy pickings and he needed to have 70+ coins for his strategy. Basically if he didn't bully Birdo, he wouldn't have come close to winning.
Mario Party Superstars looks like soooo much fun! I mean... online multiplayer?! I wish there was a Ranking system too so we could have another season of Ryu playing Ranked Mario xD

Great to see all the Mario Party 3 games in this; that was *my jam* back in the day! 😄 Boulder Ball (28:45), at least in MP3, is _much_ tougher for the 3 players if the solo player alternately swings all the way to the left & right. Looking fwd to the next installment, Ryukahr! 👍

I just wanted to point out... If Ryu actually reads comments... The ghost is actually just like it was in the original Mario Party. It was changed in Mario Party 2 to paying 5 coins too steal many more from others. A lot of the gameplay mechanics on that board seemed to be taken from Mario Party with a few new items and tweaks. I wonder if all the boards stick to their original rules. I can't wait to see if the ghost charges on the Mario Party 2 boards and steals more. Keep going Ryu and, when I get this game, maybe we can duke it out on a board or two.
@TornadoADV Luigi too as not only Ryu stole his star but he prevented Luigi from getting at least one star with the swap block too...indeed, I noticed at 44:50 that Mario is the only one who says GG to Ryu...that's because Mario was the only one who was not massively bullied by Ryu lol
