Again, Jessica Greenfield and Russell Pritchard just killing it on the harmonies. Fucking brilliant ..especially the "Oooh La's la's" I love what they add to the back up vocals...very rich and it blends perfect with Noel's voice!
It’s sad that he had to go through some tough times while writing and making this album, but man this is his best work ever in my opinion. The maturity, clarity with the lyrics and the truth of the human condition is totally here, where it was amiss in even the best Oasis songs. On top of that his vocals are so on point and this band is on fire. This is a wonderful piece of art. Love the new album. It’s on rotation 24/7❤

What a glorious tune that is. That chorus... Just pure joy. Drenched in Beatles goodness from the Epi Casino to the strings to the backward sounding Rain-esque guitar in the outro. Honestly, I think Noel Gallagher is underrated as a songwriter if anything.

Council Skies is a damn boss album! Great melodic, atmospheric and beautifully arranged songs (Deluxe extra tracks included - I listen to them all 🤩). Also, this band is just awesome. Great people and talented musicians involved. Congrats! 🍻
This song is my favorite on the "Council Skies" LP and it takes on a whole different dimension here in a live version. Absolutely Amazing! Masterfully presented and accomplished. 💯
Noel and the high flying birds are super talented. There are only 2 bands I love more Zep and Lizzy. However, Noel is current. His songwriting is up there with James Patrick Page and Percy Plant ,. Excellent song Noel ❤
This is a real touch of creativity, showing a mastery of music like John Lennon and Brian Jones, cleverly making good use of different instruments and sounds...that's the way to do it! And a touch of W B Yeats in the lyrics, must be the Irish in him(my grandmother was from County Mayo, circa 1886).

Songs like You Know We Can't Go Back could've been an Oasis b-side who nobody ever talked about. The Mexican? Lock All The Doors? Boring for me, too. But that's just my opinion
