Very informative and just a “whack ton” 🤣 of fun to watch!
I can't hardley believe that this piece of equipment has come together for you in just a few short videos, and I do think you need to add the value of your time into the overall cost, but at the average rate for a welder to keep it simple. Can you believe were almost through February? You will have this painted and running before you know it! Being a Nebraska flat lander, I am very interested in seeing this used in the field soon. I hope your having at least half as much fun as us watching, then we know your happy and doing what you love. PS. The edits are alot of fun, keep doing what you are, and we will keep watching. Peace.
Hey MP. We just got another dump of snow and more cold weather next week. This winter is dragging on to long lol, I am sure we are 3 weeks behind for spring compared to last year. I am glad your liking the editing, it is the most enjoyable part for me to do, I like to challenge my self on learning this stuff.

Time is 100% money. But as you said it was all your own time and as such you dont have to pay all the extras that employing others costs. I like how you did it with the cost of materials and your time being seperate. That way people can do a rough estimate for whatever they think their time is worth if they are wonsering what this sort of a build would cost them. Im sure you know what your time is worth but everyone has different ways of calculating that for themselves 😁
Hey Bazamere, my problem even when building hotrods was always not charging enough. My shop rate was at $50 while others were at $75. I always stayed busy though:)

Never sell yourself short, you’ve made huge investments in equipment, training, and experience. That has value, your skills have value, your experience has value. Well done, can’t wait to see more

Let me know I've thinking of building one just no time. I can run year round on the east coast
@Rock-jt5vk For sure Rock. That would be killer to he able to run all year... We only get 4-5 months here.

30K used. Cost you 5K. 25K in savings for 101 hours or you worked for about $250.00 per hour. I think you did an awesome job. On a side note. Can you turn down the music when you are talking?
That's Eric! Thanks for watching and I'm open to suggestions on making the videos more enjoyable.
Sure would like to speak with you if possible
$10,100 for man hours, rounded total of $15000.
I think that is fair!! A fabrication shop is around or more then that per hour these days.
@@TheMiningChannel factoring in the previous purchase of the tools it seems fair.
@Daniel F Myers Absaloutly. Both the welder and plasma cutter wasn't cheap to purchase.
would you sell it for $10k?
Hey there Michiel, sorry but it is in use now.
