Good video! How long does one tank of lp last ya?

Good video! I recently bought a Predator 5000 and have gone through the same steps. Just to be safe though, I will be changing my oil way before the 30 hr. time frame and using non-synthetic oil for the first few changes.

I was thinking the same. I’ll likely do an oil change at 10-15 hours. But trying to keep the video to the manual specs.
Why the non-synthetic oil? I’ve heard a few others do that too, but haven’t done much research as to why.

@@RyansReviewHowTo It is my understanding that traditional oil helps during break-in to seal or seat the new internal engine parts as opposed to synthetic that is too slick. Not sure I'm using the correct terminology as I am certainly not a mechanic, but this is what I've heard. Seems to make sense.

That’s what i had heard too. That is was too slick. I’m assuming/hoping the full synthetic is good enough because I don’t want to go buy a different type of oil. I stocked up on the full synthetic from Costco 😂

@@RyansReviewHowTo I think you'll probably be ok. After all the manual does not say "do not use synthetic".
BTW, I also saw a recommendation to get a magnetic dip stick to collect metal shavings from the new engine. I called Harbor Freight Headquarters in California and asked a tech about this. He said he did not feel it was necessary. Said if there were any metal shavings large enough to be visible then you would have much bigger issues. Because I purchased the two-year warranty, I feel ok that I didn't go that far.

That’s good to know. I saw the magnetic dipstick too but didn’t want to spend even more on it. I saw someone else use the magnetic one and it didn’t catch anything. So it didn’t seem necessary.

Sad thing is everyone will be complaining about no electricity but they do nothing to be ready for it 😢😢😢
