The chefrobot is an incredibly innovative kitchen companion that has truly inspired many, including myself... maybe i shold make a cookbook for this device. 😊
I've been having a blast using the Tokit Omni since January 2023, and let me tell you, it's totally changed my cooking game! This amazing gadget isn't just another kitchen tool; it’s a total game-changer. Whether I’m making precise sous-vide meals, steaming veggies, blending smoothies, or sautéing, the Omni always delivers fantastic results.
75% of stuff I use the big one for could definitely be done in batches in the mini one that came with my immersion blender. My daughter has the same immersion blender and uses it all the time.
My 30 year old Cuisinart just died on me and I’m debating whether to replace it. I cook and bake a lot, but only small batches. I used the food processor to shred cheese for lasagna and… nope, that’s about it. My perception is that these are great if you make lots of coleslaw, so mine was in the back of the cupboard.
I am currently considering buying a food processor, and - as I tend to do too much research - I'm eyeing one that might be considered way too expensive (of course).
I use my mini-processor a lot for sauces and dressings. I’ve got a blender and a stand mixer and am open to buying a new food processor if I have a use for it. So… what do other people do with theirs? Maybe I need to reset my thoughts on these!
I’ve been saving up my scraps in the freezer and most of it is stuff I’d expect in stock ie: onion, celery, carrot, extra herbs that probably only had another day or 2 left in the fridge, since that’s what I use the most. But I have a few random things that I’m unsure about like broccoli stems, the ends of a butternut squash, etc. Does it matter? Are there certain things I should avoid?
I personally wouldn't add any cruciferous veggies - broccoli, cabbage, kale, etc. They get bitter and smelly when overcooked and stocks are typically cooked for a long time.

I have a mini food processor. Saves me a lot of time and it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space

While I'm impressed by the sleek design and advanced features of the chefrobot, I must admit my focus is more on the technology than its aesthetics.

Making stock for the first time, are there any vegetable scraps that shouldn’t go in stock or is it just use what you have
What's the 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆 policy?
I personally wouldn't add any cruciferous veggies - broccoli, cabbage, kale, etc. They get bitter and smelly when overcooked and stocks are typically cooked for a long time.
