My primary problem with the Instagram makeup aesthetic isn't the heaviness so much as the monotony. Everything looks the same, to the point where you can't even tell the wearers apart because they've altered their features so much.
Corellia Calling YES! I feel like you've just got my thoughts on this in one. They all look the same! Add the contact lenses and lip fillers, and you literally have the same person plastered everywhere!
Thank you! It's not only like seeing the exact same person, it's also like seeing the exact same look just in different colours! Where is the artistry if you are recreating the SAME techniques EVERY single time??
I so agree! You can always expect wing liner, fake plumped lips, strong cut crease, harsh contours and highlights. What I find funny is that if you compared the same eye makeup but one with wing liner and one with liner just following the eye, the wing liner would get more likes.
Yes, if we take only one person, they do the same look with different coloured eyeshadow maybe, and it's so boring. Oh and one shouldn't call themselves a make up artist if they can only do make up on themselves..
This is why I am such a huge fan of Nic and Sam. Their approach to makeup is REALISTIC and emphasis on enhancing features to make people notice YOU and not your makeup. At the end of the day, its all about preference and there are no rules. But, IMO, Sam and Nic are the real OG's! xx
I have nothing against the so called "beauty gurus" of instagram and youtube, I actually enjoy watching their videos, but I think that you can really tell that there's a huge difference betweem them and the real, qualified and experienced make up artists. Most of them beauty gurus just relay on blinding lightning and huge lashes to cover crappy eyelooks and heavy cakey foundation. Also they just seem to use the trendy products, aka the ones that get them the most views. One the other side every time I watch pixiwoo videos I feel like I learnt new ways to enhance my features instead of caking my face and look like a completely different person.
dontsinkmyship dontsinkmyship I agree with you wholeheartedly although as much as I admire and respect the girls knowledge and skills I struggle watching vids like these because the lighting is so bright it reflects so much off the skin I can't see the details so feel like I'm missing the important bits being taught if that makes sense?? Thank god though neither girl looks plastic like some of the make up "gurus" out there due to an overload of highlighter!!
pixiwoo can you please share your skincare secrets your skin looks amazing. I'm 33 and my skin looks so aged when applying makeup. I've tried so much skincare and different foundations but I always end up looking 10 years older after makeup. I have dry combo skin with fine lines around my eyes and it's so hard to find the right amount of setting makeup without looking aged and wrinkly. I try to set my makeup so it doesn't sink into lines or melt off my tzone, use the lightest amount of powder, tried many eye creams but my eyes always end up looking dry and creasy 😭
Love the natural, but seeing the different techniques side by side was super helpful, I'd love more videos like this. Also I'm so glad you used the hourglass palette, I've literally just ordered it from SpaceNK (bit slow off the mark with that one I know!) and now I'm really excited to used it! 😙😙😙
I'm everywhere~ I change my make up depending on my mood, but I definitely feel like... your make up skill isn't defined by how much make up you can pack on at once. I think it's so much more difficult (and I am a qualified make up artist) to master the natural stuff.
Molly Lyon "hi guys, today I'm going to be doing a natural makeup tutorial. Totally wearable for every day." *proceeds to use full coverage foundation and dark contour and brown smokey eye*
I find on Instagram every looks so same same/formulaic where as the natural looks seem to have so much more variety and scope to pare down further or amp up a bit more. Always so good to see a side by side comparison done by someone who is fantastic at makeup. Its interesting times we live in with Instagram and social media in general affecting so much
I like the contrast. I was watching your eyeliner on different eyes videos with the 10 models. I'd love to see that but with picking out a feature of each model to emphasise with a quick demo like big lips or pale skin, grey hair or strong brows. The instagram look tends to ignore people's natural gifts, we all have them.
I totally prefer your more "natural" side. The other, while it's done well, leans too much toward the drag queen look that is being sported more and more. Thanks again.
While I can appreciate the artistry, colour pairing and emphasis on light/shade in the heavier instagram makeup, I so much prefer the more natural glam. I have nothing against drag queens but I don't want to look like one. For photos or stage makeup this type of look has it's place, but in real life no no no. Especially on me (45, dry, eczema prone and hooded lids) too much makeup is completely awful. False lashes seem to have made a comeback in recent years - I only ever wore them for costume purposes ie halloween, hen nights etc and couldn't wear such long and heavy lashes all the time. My face would feel itchy with a thick layer of foundation, concealer and powder. I only use the smallest amount of powder I can get away with at my nose and chin (for dry skin powder is the enemy and makes me look about 20 years older if applied everywhere). I mostly use tinted moisturisers and a little mineral powder everyday as I don't need a lot of coverage. Oh well makeup trends are always changing and maybe natural will make be the next big thing. Best wishes.
I personally can't get on with the trend of loading concealer onto the middle of the face. I have such pale skin so using a shade or 2 lighter doesn't really exist, therefore it doesn't look that great or different anyway. What's worse though is it does not cover my dark circles. If you google how to conceal dark circles every article seems to say 'do a big triangle'. That doesn't hide the darkness for me; I have to pinpoint, like Nic does here, the darkest area. Quite honestly I'm sick of seeing youtubers paint half their face with concealer but that's my problem.
omg I feel you on that lighter concealer. A lighter concealer (that doesn't end up looking pink or yellow) on me doesn't exist. It's all the same depth or darker haha also watching big youtubers do the full glam and using Tarte shapetape saying "a little concealer" and then painting halfway down their cheeks as if the applicator for that product isn't the size of their thumb.
there are literally white concealers around but either over loading concealer on the face is a bad idea, also for dark circles you need a colour corrector only on the dark bit and done very lightly
Both sides are really well done. 😀 But the "natural" side looks so healthy and, sort of oddly, friendlier; as if I would want to go up to you and greet you. ☺️ I wear the natural side daily and an amped up version of natural when I go out.
I love a full on smokey eye for work but no contouring/blush/highlight etc. But love blue eyeshadow with a fresh face for socialising. I love all types of makeup and feel it expresses so much about our personalities. When I see women out and about with light to heavy makeup I always think that when they left the house that day they felt good! And that's what makeup does,it helps us to feel good. x
Natural, always natural! Why do you think I follow you?😂 you and Sam share my opinion on makeup "best version of yourself", not putting a ton of makeup to cover and change everything you have.
Yeldana A. I completely agree! At my school though a lot of girls have the Instagram brow but I have nothing against it but after a couple of years there will be a whole new brow trend
I'm more on the natural side, right down the middle on special occasions. I do sometimes go full on for fun, but it usually comes off right after photos
I absolutely love your natural makeup. I've never been the best at taking care of my skin, but you girls (and Chloe Morello as well) have really given me the motivation to take better care of my skin so I can feel comfortable wearing the gorgeous natural makeup you do! So thank you :)
I love and live in the land of natural every day, tinted primer, concealer, bronzer & mascara. But if im going for a night out i wear foundation etc & play up my eye makeup, but still keep my base somewhat natural. My face just doesn't like a lot of makeup, it doesn't look good on me. But everyone to their own - Gotta express yourself. x
quickest easiest cut crease I've ever seen! you're a genius! love more of the products on the natural side like clarins and the palette. love how much fun it looks to go crazy with make up on the insta side . excellent video! x
I love you guys so much, you both are truly artists. The looks you create are so versatile and it's never repetitive. I'm so glad I can always come back to you and Sam to actually TEACH a new technique. Thank you for your consistent love for "painting" faces.
BY THE WAY GUYS!!!! Im trying to reach 400 subs, i just posted my valentines day makeup tutorial and I would love your feedback!!! I support channels back :)
"Natural" all the way for me. I wear a fair amount of makeup but no-one can tell - they just think I woke up like this. I'm constantly getting comments about how lucky I am that I don't need to wear much makeup. If only they knew! To me that is the real measure of success: when people notice how good YOU look, not how good your makeup looks xx
Regardless of the look you're creating I just love watching you work, observing your techniques, and getting tips I can use on myself. You're both so talented!
This is so refreshing to see and hear! I've always been more on the natural side, tried the whole instagram eyebrows and dislike them on me personally. Love this
I personally way prefer the natural look and think it looks a lot more youthful and pretty on you :) I also only wear pretty minimal, natural makeup on an everyday basis but like to jazz it up with lashes and more eyeshadow in the evening while still keeping it not to instagram looking. but to each their own!
I'm most definitely natural. I love the contrast between the two looks and I find it amazing what a little (or a lot) of makeup can do to change one's entire appearance. I couldn't stop thinking that on the insta side it looked like just beneath your eyebrow was swollen … and it appeared that way because of your technique. Great vid!!
The thing about Instagram and most TH-cam beauty gurus is that they are emulating drag queen makeup. The techniques that are so trendy now are techniques that drag queens use. That's why it looks so harsh and daft. Nothing against drag queens, they are amazingly talented. However, think about it, these are men, men naturally have stronger facial features so they use techniques to soften up/feminize the strong angles (extreme contouring, highlighting, overfilling lips, etc.). They are also performers, up on stage with heavy lights. Theater makeup is always exaggerated. As women, we naturally have softer features so we don't have to go those extremes and we are not on stage. When we do this, we look static and superficial. I appreciate TRUE makeup artists because it's about ENHANCING. Instagram makeup is about TRANSFORMING. The same end goal when drag queens transform to women.
every day is my daily, less is more. Lounging or working out, no makeup, just sunscreen. A night out for dinmer, drinks, and dancing with my girls (I'm 41) or a special evening event, almost full glam depending on time and how much I'm interested in going full out. Loved this half and half demo!!!
I actually like both sides. The left side is definitely my day to day makeup; everything is soft en easy and not too time consuming, but really not too harsh for daylight. The instagram side is the side I love for that medium, meaning: good lighting, right angle and a nice creative space. It also might look good during night time parties and social gatherings. I also think the right side is a trend that will make room for a new one some day. It is mostly liked by a younger audience for its own reasons. I also made a video like this, to demonstrate the huge difference, but definitley not because I hate one of those sides. It's an occasion/ preference thing and that is ok, because that exactly is the beauty of makeup :)
I should prefer the right cause im 19 & that is what I 'should' be into but when I wear make up like that I feel self-conscious. Most the girls at uni seem to love it but they just look rough IMO, its too much . when they go outside it literally makes them look dirty
Love the dichotomy you've shown. I live on the more natural right side. I do love how you have shown the two variations using mostly the same products. Brilliant lesson!!! Thanks.
Totally beautiful! You are so good! Both sides are fantastic with your simple techniques for the softest touch to full on dramatic glam look is effortless!
More natural for me, but I'm 55! LOL! Still, I occasionally do the full-on glam thing. It's fun, and my partner prefers that style. Weird, huh, that a man admits to that!
Same. I'm 36 and I love playing around with my make up. I love to try and achieve the instagram looks but they aren't so flattering anymore. The glam glow from within look is much nicer on me now. Both looks look stunning on you Nik. I wish I had your talent.
My god there's too many people bitching about how shitty "instagram makeup" is. There's a time and place for either type of look and there's nothing wrong with either of them. It's personal preference only and it's really fucking immature of anyone to call someone names over what they decide to slab all over their face to make themselves feel good or how they want to artistically express themselves that day. Not every instagrammer or youtuber has "shitty cakey makeup" or is trying to completely change their features out of insecurity and the best ones out there can act as a proper MUA too by giving tips for different skin types etc and I've seen plenty offer videos with actual models. There's nothing wrong with either kind of artist or person or how they portray themselves. It's just makeup and the same person can literally wear both for day or night and be the same genuine individual. Nobody HAS to wear either one 100% of the time. That's the beauty of makeup! You can be or look like whatever you want and nobody deserves to shame you for it because it's such a non issue. No point in harshly bashing either side in the comments. :) Just felt like saying that after taking one rare scroll into the comments section I usually never venture for typical blatant negativity ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I totally agree with you on which side to wear for which occasion. I actually got to the point where my formal occasion makeup was the same as my everyday and I didn't like that! I love that your skills are shown so readily on both sides though.
Love the natural beauty look! I'm about to turn 53 and prefer a natural look. I am also menopausal and have dry skin. Could you do a mature everyday makeup tutorial look, using hydrating or cream based products from the drugstore or high street? Thank you ❤😘💜
Im in my 50s too. usually I just go washed face with no makeup at all except a bit of powder, mascara and sunblock. If I really amp it up on rare occasions, I add lipstick . But I would do the full glam look for a photo shoot.
Beautiful looks! I prefer the natural glam one. It is the most flattering on me and the easiest and similar to the one I wear most days. You look beautiful, as always! Love you!
Ugh, the comments on this video are so judgmental and unnecessary. Let people live. Let them wear makeup that they feel comfortable in and express themselves in whatever way they please. It's sad that people care so much about what others look like, so called 'instagram' makeup isn't about trying to be natural it's about creating art and altering features using makeup SKILL. To say that those who create dramatic looks are not real makeup artists is insulting, it takes far more skill and effort for that style to look good than a natural look. I personally adore the way both styles look and there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing whatever you want on your face whenever you want. Stop with all the hate and judgement.
Becca Wand, Exactly. You can appreciate the beauty of a natural makeup look without completely shitting on people who genuinely like the "Instaglam" look.
I love the natural look! I love your videos. You and Sam are THE best make up artists. I get super excited when you upload a video. I have learned so much from you both and after several years of watching your channel it was you two that inspired me to be a Make up artist and train. Thank you! xx
My makeup style is definitely quite minimal and natural but I love to see the technique behind the more dramatic side! The lip color is super pretty! Such an interesting video-- thanks for sharing! :)
Having to see the two side by side it makes me cringe...Instagram makeup looks like drag (which is okay if that's what needed) but it's not a daily look
As displayed in this video you don't need to over contour or use so much foundation, concealer & highlighter that you look like a totally different person. Even though the Instaglam was "heavier" than the natural glam, this was done well and that is why I love watching you, you are a professional and don't go overboard on the makeup just because everyone else is doing it. Beautiful!
The thing for me is that I do watch a moderate amount of guru and insta videos as they are entertaining, I have tried that style and felt like I'm going on stage with Cirque de Soleil. Also I think it is very important to get the message across that you do not need to wear 345 products on your face to look glamours, enhanced and beautiful, and that you can actually rely on your own features and beauty when doing your makeup no need to change bone structure and eye colour and whatsoever... You are really beautiful and professional and give a lot of great advise, thanks!
i've found that a lot of make up tutorials tend to edit out the full process of creating a winged eyeliner, and i know it can be a longer part of the process but it would be so useful every now and then to leave it unedited so we can see exactly how you create that line. love the end result of both looks though! xxx
i love both instagram and regular glam! day to day or for going out im definitely a natural person but i love the creativity of instagram, especially the glitter eye looks, and when people do amazing things on their lips! its so over the top & creative!
Nic, this has been such an important video to make. It shows that both styles can look great if done with proper skill. Also, thank you so-so much for pointing out that there's no need to judge those whose style is different than yours... Personally I like heavy makeup for special occasions but on a day-to-day basis I go natural.
The more natural side would make wonderful bridal makeup! If I'm getting all done up I will wear the more natural side but have more fun with the lip color. My eye shape doesn't suit the intense color grading or heavy wing of the internet styles very much though I have tried them out. Using a bold lip helps me feel on-trend for a night out.
I love them both! I am in my late twenties, and I am more glam, but without lashes, more of a natural brow, and without contour. I like the look of contouring but it just never looks quite right on me. So I suppose I'm a blend of both. Great video, gorgeous as always!
Got to admit, I do love an 'instagram' style eye of a night out, but omg the highlight and ott foundation kills me when people have such lovely skin underneath!
So much skill in one video! *respect* You mentioned you're 36 and hence wouldn't wear the instaglam look, but I do think no age will work with that much makeup.. I'm not talking about editorial looks on young tween supermodels, but the average women of the world. I can't see any age group pull off an instaglam look, in broad daylight, in the middle of an ordinary street. The natural glam look however is so beautiful. It showcases the true essence of makeup, it looks polished & so effortlessly glam. Your features are artfully enhanced & it was so much fun to watch that side of your face come together! THAT's the one I'd love to wear! Thank you for this half-n-half tutorial. It really made me see the power of makeup & what it's meant to be like!
I am 23 and I was an Instagram girl. I rocked it well but now working with Mac and seeing recent trends I have been loving the natural quick makeup just showing your "skin" creating that glow I've been absolutely loving and it saves me sometime in the morning.
Natural a all the way! This look is STUNNING and so beautiful by the way, I love it! 😍! I also just want to say that your skin, with and without makeup is FLAWLESS and so radiant and glowy! Just gorgeous xxx
I like both! We all do our own thing and that is the beauty of make up. I am 36 and personally love playing with colours etc but I also love soft looks too. My make up of the day usually reflects my mood and I enjoy the whole process of selecting and applying products. Live and let live I say
I love creating strong looks sometimes, but it definitely takes more skills to use less and look great. It's easy to cake on foundation and look "flawless" with studio lights, but to look like a better version of yourself in a daylight is art. Anyway, it's makeup and you can always take it off!
Honestly, I only wear makeup a handful of times per year these days (since I had my daughter in 2015). I used to be an insta-gal, but now when I wear makeup, it's a natural glam. Great video, BTW! Everything you do looks impeccable!
I LOVE the natural side. I think people should do makeup that makes them happy, but natural with a nice pop always so beautiful! and you have GORGEOUS skin!
You both are so beautiful naturally and then seeing this difference awesome! Love both looks as your natural glam is amazing and the full glam is gorgeous too! xoxo
On my everyday, it's natural. However I do enjoy having fun with different looks and trying different products. This video however in my eyes was not as much about what side I am, it was more in absolute amazement when it comes to your skill and true art form. You're such an inspiration and a true beauty! Your knowledge and skill is impeccable and unmatched by most! No filter, photoshop program, or even most artist can not come close to your art. Truly beautiful and both sides with such knowledge and ease. To me... that's the power of this video!!
this is really interesting! I find that often Sam and Nic have slight digs at the Instagram tutorial makers and I can understand why- they're makeup is the same, baked, beauty blended, highlighted, liquid lip style every.single.video. they have a huge following but Pixiwoo provide actual tips on changing it up, learning something new, correcting mistakes and understanding makeup. I'm so grateful! I love this channel and hope you continue to make videos for a long time ❤️
really liked the idea behind this video, its daring, and i really prefer makeup artist makeup to the same kind of makeup almost every guru does on youtube and instagram, well done xo
My primary problem with the Instagram makeup aesthetic isn't the heaviness so much as the monotony. Everything looks the same, to the point where you can't even tell the wearers apart because they've altered their features so much.

I totally agree!

I couldn't agree more!
Exactly!
I have to say, Nic cannot deny her artistry - she made that insta-glam beauty guru look (which I hate, sorry) not seem so crass
Thanks for all your comment guys. X

pixiwoo I don't see it in the description, what bronzing pallet did you use for the everyday glam contour?
yiu are so pretty natural glam of course
pixiwoo natural! Beautiful xxx

Yes! This is real natural glam. I see so many "instaglam" looks described as "natural glam" just because they use brown tones LOL
Natural look is better, but you look pretty with both.
That is so true!!! Haha
Jenny Vo there's nothing natural about it 😂😂😂
What they mean by natural is neutral browns instead of un natural colours like blue
Molly Lyon "hi guys, today I'm going to be doing a natural makeup tutorial. Totally wearable for every day." *proceeds to use full coverage foundation and dark contour and brown smokey eye*

You make a cut crease look so easy! I would kill for your eye shape (and your skill of course)
Megan her eye shape is amazing, she has a natural deep crease and it looks like she is already wearing eyeshadow

Justyna Kat Von D's got a white one, it's super thick formula tho
L.A. Girl has one too... But if you have dried undereye, it's no good I think
Both sides are really well done. 😀 But the "natural" side looks so healthy and, sort of oddly, friendlier; as if I would want to go up to you and greet you. ☺️
I wear the natural side daily and an amped up version of natural when I go out.
Nicole S. I felt like the insta-side is her evil twin sister lol.
I like a low key eye with a bold lip. Sort of a toned down pinup look. I wear that type of look everyday and even on special occasions.
I feel like the instagram side makes your browbone look swollen. The natural side is beautiful!
Stacey Noffke I thought I was the only one who noticed that!
I love a full on smokey eye for work but no contouring/blush/highlight etc. But love blue eyeshadow with a fresh face for socialising. Looks more like Malificent vs. Snowwhite ...
I'm more on the natural side, right down the middle on special occasions. I do sometimes go full on for fun, but it usually comes off right after photos
Same :)
Mama-Bird Makeup Tutorials same here. sometimes, right after going full on, I can't wait to take it all off and wash my face! lol
Mama-Bird Makeup Tutorials Same! But for special occasions I do the Instagram eyes but leave the rest like the natural side
I absolutely love your natural makeup. I've never been the best at taking care of my skin, but you girls (and Chloe Morello as well) have really given me the motivation to take better care of my skin so I can feel comfortable wearing the gorgeous natural makeup you do! So thank you :)
you're so beautiful with both looks, your skin is amazing!!
I am in awe of this woman's easy way and willingness to share. Thank you so much for your time. Thank you Lisa for arranging for her on your channel.
I love and live in the land of natural every day, tinted primer, concealer, bronzer & mascara. Laya C same. I have freckles, so any obvious base looks hideous
quickest easiest cut crease I've ever seen! you're a genius! love more of the products on the natural side like clarins and the palette. love how much fun it looks to go crazy with make up on the insta side . excellent video! x
your skin is so luminous
So pretty!!! I think this is the best one I've seen☺ love how the Instagram side dosent look cakey!!! Sooo prettyxx
I think natural glam is best looking, but I do love applying the instaglam. Make-ups fun! But personally I do prefer the natural side x
I love you guys so much, you both are truly artists. The looks you create are so versatile and it's never repetitive. I'm so glad I can always come back to you and Sam to actually TEACH a new technique. Thank you for your consistent love for "painting" faces.
Thanks so much.x
You look beautiful on both sides!!! I love how you can do realistic looks :)
Your eyelashes are so good I was shocked when you said you were putting falsies on the instagram side because I swore you were already wearing them!
Regardless of the look you're creating I just love watching you work, observing your techniques, and getting tips I can use on myself. You're both so talented!
gorgeous on either side, Nic
I'm all about the 'natural glam' look. So much more flattering. You look beautiful with both Nic!
you look pretty in both looks!💕
every day is my daily, less is more.
Definitely NATURAL is just so beautiful and fresh!! Love it!! Thanks pixiwoo!!
I should prefer the right cause im 19 & that is what I 'should' be into but when I wear make up like that I feel self-conscious. Most the girls at uni seem to love it but they just look rough IMO, its too much . when they go outside it literally makes them look dirty
Absolutely LOVED THIS VID! You explained the cut crease in the most easiest way!! Omg! You're the absolute sweetest too! Hi from TX!
What skincare do you use? Your skin is so flawless😍
Love the dichotomy you've shown. I live on the more natural right side. I do love how you have shown the two variations using mostly the same products. Brilliant lesson!!! Thanks.
Definitely the natural side for me
Totally beautiful!
I wish I had your talent.
nic I'm sorry if this is crass but it totally sounds like you said 'essential queef brush' -spat out my rice krispies
Both sides look fabulous! I think I'm enjoying the more natural side the most. Thank you for this video, it was so fun to watch!
Thank you ❤😘💜
I don't know if you saw it but they did a makeup look on their mother ! :)
hiyana Y Hi!😊 Yes I've watched it three or four times, but it is from 2010. I'm hoping for a newer updated video 😉💜
Thank you! xx
I hated the instaglam side and that is exactly why i love your channel and artistry.
Please don't ever change. xo
would love to see a makeup artists opinions on "social media brands" like morphe, colourpop, jeffree star, etc.
Insta is so ageing.
sweetmarcipan And you gotta admit its hard to wash it all off at night too!
I cant decide which side I prefer they are both gorgeous
The 'instagram' side looks nothing like instagram makeup, it's still too natural/not what 'Instagram makeupartists' do, just my opinion or?
Could not love this video any more! From a makeup artists point of view, I really hope it educates a few people. Thanks for making it Nic xx
i've found that a lot of make up tutorials tend to edit out the full process of creating a winged eyeliner, and i know it can be a longer part of the process but it would be so useful every now and then to leave it unedited so we can see exactly how you create that line.
love the end result of both looks though! xxx
Love watching these, you are the bob Ross of make up!
i love both instagram and regular glam! day to day or for going out im definitely a natural person but i love the creativity of instagram, especially the glitter eye looks, and when people do amazing things on their lips! its so over the top & creative!
Loved this video Nic! I'm more of a natural look girl myself but love watching the videos of both!! X
*respect*
You mentioned you're 36 and hence wouldn't wear the instaglam look, but I do think no age will work with that much makeup..
I have to say, the natural look is so much more beautiful! As you said, flattering! Great video 👍🏻
Loved this, liked how you used the same products to show how to get different looks with the same products x
Love the natural look, its very fresh and becoming on you Nic!
I love both side of you, you have a lot of talent, much more than many so-called "beauty gurus" ...Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up!
Natural definitely!!! It's great, elegant and comfortable. Nice video!! Thank you!!
I'm both! Love to go all out and be creative and dramatic sometimes but the natural glam is so pretty too.
I love creating strong looks sometimes, but it definitely takes more skills to use less and look great. It's easy to cake on foundation and look "flawless" with studio lights, but to look like a better version of yourself in a daylight is art.
Anyway, it's makeup and you can always take it off!
love how you show us 2 different looks with the same products!
Honestly, I only wear makeup a handful of times per year these days (since I had my daughter in 2015). I used to be an insta-gal, but now when I wear makeup, it's a natural glam. Great video, BTW! Everything you do looks impeccable!
I would love to see Sam do this too. I feel like her commentary would be hilarious! Love you both!
Fab video!! Definitely prefer the natural look. Your eyelashes (your own!) are to die for.... 😍
I LOVE the natural side. I think people should do makeup that makes them happy, but natural with a nice pop always so beautiful! and you have GORGEOUS skin!
You both are so beautiful naturally and then seeing this difference awesome! Love both looks as your natural glam is amazing and the full glam is gorgeous too! xoxo
Nic is SO GORGEOUS 😍 She always seems to be glowing ✨ Her skin is flawless! Just beautiful 💗💗 So naturally beautiful!
I love this channel and hope you continue to make videos for a long time ❤️
I am living for the left side!! Absolutely stunning!
really liked the idea behind this video, its daring, and i really prefer makeup artist makeup to the same kind of makeup almost every guru does on youtube and instagram, well done xo
Natural! So beautiful! Both are gorgeous!
Your STUNNING. I love a step up from natural. I would love to see a red lipstick tutorial look for everyday
