The great thing about Chai Masala is that you can customise it to suit your tastes. Recently I have come to like cardamom more so I have reduced the ginger power and increased the cardamom! You can add more black pepper to make it spicer too! Enjoy 😉
I like The way you made the tea masala. Looks so tasty. Every time when I make masala tea I grind the spices freshly and I add ginger too. I add mint but I never used lemon grass. I tell try with the lemon grass when I get the chance to buy lemon grass. I like you. I’m sure you are not from India. I’m from Ceylon but living in Canada. I think you are from some parts of U S A. Wishing the very best for 2021. Take are and stay safe. 🙏💕🇨🇦
Thank you so much! I'm from the UK but lived in the USA for over 20 years. Yes, lemongrass tastes delicious in chai, you must try it. Also, I find grinding the spices in a small amount like this allows them to blend together and give a better flavour. Try it and see if you like it. I've been to Ceylon. It's a beautiful place. I appreciate that you like me 😊 Please share my videos with your friends and family. I'm here to teach everyone all types of dishes, Indian and non-Indian! But all delicious! Thanks again!
Boil with tea mix & spices for 2-3 minutes so the flavour can develop. After adding milk & mint just bring to a boil & boil for just 30 seconds to a minute. Strain & enjoy ☺️
I did learn this particular masala powder recipe from 2 friends and each one of them was different!
But yours is unique 👌

Wonderful! Enjoy! You can adjust the ginger powder to your taste 😊
Great trick with the peppermint!!!👍
Thanks 😀 It tastes delicious!
Hard to find whole mace. What name should I look for at the Jndian grocery store?
Thank you for asking this question! Mace is sold in Indian shops under the name JAVENTRI. It is very strong, so don’t add too much!😊
How long do we boil for in total?

Nice recipe but I think my mum would disown me if I microwaved the spices 😭
😂LOL!! OR she might think you’re a genius and showed her a shortcut!!😉
why the microwave? i stopped watching it right there, not interested any more.
You can dry-fry on the stovetop for sure. You don’t have to use a microwave. I hope you still try it🙏🏽
