I'm glad you guys kept mentioning his character and how kind he is. I think that's a very important part of his character that often went overlooked since his denseness and his love for Sega usually overshadows it. But his kindness is definitely one of the most driving factor of the story. He always save people in trouble without asking for anything back, and he never seeks revenge on people who wronged him. Even whenever he gets beaten up by villagers he just defeats them and explains he's not an orc. It's how he managed to build connections throughout the story despite being sort of anti-social. Even after 17 years of "hell" experience, he was still a good person by the time he came back to Japan. Such a good man.
In case u still want to know, the paper that Elf tossed to uncle was a detoxing talisment. She figured out that uncle would be suffering for all the poison he got when he penetraded the venom dragon and "gave" it to him. Saddly he didn't understand her and still suffered from poison for a whole week after that event...lol
after being half dead from the beating, then imprisoned and dying from dehydration and starvation, ojisan clung to life through Sega's Pulseman. then he freed the animals in the freak show but turned out they too were half starved too... probably ojisan would have died if the freak show owner did not get attacked. the inspiration to fight came from Sega's Alien Soldier, teased in Episode 2 and when ojisan's turned Mabel into the dark side. "if alien's were to invade now, would you be an ordinary citizen who runs for his life Or..." the dark power of Sega is real
its probably difficult for him to be depressed when he is erasing all his worst memories, just looking at all the notches on his notebook and you can see he has had it really rough.
23:18 Yeah...by that time he was in that world for 3 years (or more) Because they show us Mabel walking past Uncle (before the "assassination" attempt) after he got drunk at his 20 years birthday (with the Elf)
This show is amazing. Absolutely hilarious, and a world that makes me want to explore more. And is all basically about an uncle, a nephew and his girl childhood friend, all watching a magical TV about uncle's misadventures. I have a theory that makes me sad.
Uncle mentioned that he didn't like playing RPGs. So the idea of travelling with a party probably wasn't the first thing to come to mind. Not to mention, Uncle wasn't the kind to socialize much in general in the first place. And going to another world wouldn't really change the type of person you are. If you avoid people in our world, there's no reason you wouldn't also avoid people in another world.
"Episode 7" Official English Sub supposedly won't be out until September 7th. As for "Episode 8", it has been delayed *_until further notice_* , and the whole month of September is going to be a Rebroadcast Month re-airing Episode 3-6. So practically, *_"Episode 8" won't be out until October_* .
30:00 he wouldn't understand party, since he didn't play any RPGs. And any games he could've played co-op, i'd say he didn't have anyone to play with anyway...
This show is just full of anime references. Attack on Titan during the breaking of the shield. I think the rabbits is a reference to the Great Rabbit of Re:Zero.
I love this show, but while I would love it if he recognized the tsundere aspect of Elf I’m sure it would shatter him at the same time. If he realized she did love him deeply but couldn’t communicate it the entire time, I don’t know how he’d take it. Imagine you thought you were all alone with no one who cared about you in that world only to look back on it an miss nearly two decades of someone’s (very) failed attempted advances. He’s already shown he’s a caring person, so he’d probably take it hard
33:00 I wish but, apparently, similarly to Idaten Deities, manga is ongoing. And there is production issues in the studio that are hidden by pretext of 'ze v|rus'. Idaten Deities is similarly a dark comedy but mostly dark than comedy, probably, the most brutal anime I have ever seen that actually earns the brutality it shows, not just for shock factor.
Yeah we've seen the idaten deities only know peace. It was an amazing anime!!! Absolutely awesome. I was thrown off by the animation at first but was loving it soon after!
@@onireactions4168 As did I, had to force myself to check it out even after several strong recommendation. Same with Summer Time Rendering where phrase "similar to Re;Zero" was not a praise for me but, luckily, for me it turned out much better than that. Unfortunately, they say that source for Idaten Deities doesn't have enough material yet for new entire season. Not sure how much there for Uncle.
Uncle From Unother World has been cancelled after 7 episodes. So sad... According to the announcement, the production staff was unable to create it due to the spread of a COVID-19.

Yeah. If anything Ojii-san is more of a hero than the chuuni edgy kids out there.
Something that nobody's pointed out: Elf was sleeping in Uncle's hoodie. She kept it for three years by that point and sleeps in it.
Omg hahaha lol that is so true!!!!
Damn.. I just commented this. lol
Beat me to it.
おじさんのパーカーは彼女の宝物!😊

Love your comments.
I have been hoping someone would catch on to the fact he repeats that tagline this episode. But nobody really has...

Wow I forgot about the notches marked on the cover.

I love this show man, always makes me laugh. Enjoyable seeing people enjoy it too

WolfGunBlood, is a boss enemy from Alien Soldier, so yeah another SEGA reference.

ラーメンの値段が違ったというの ちゃんと分かったんですね!
You should see him as a Speed runner. No Speed Runner Played a Party Games.
Doesn't this series just make you want to cry UNCLE!
Great episode
Thanks for you reaction
Thanks for watching!!!
The funny thing is that the spirits would actually help him if he became a villian because they dont really like humans 🤣
Hahaha I never thought of that.
I bet the spirit got fond of him. Like fr. He s really nice guy and quite different from the rest in the world.
@@unlimited971 my thoughts exactly as he is probably the only person who can actually talk to them and they found him amusing
18:01 la mejor parte del video jajajajjaja

ツンデレさん、カワイイよね・・・
Uncle's ability is as broken as his mental health. He needs some fix lmao. Give the girls happy ending too.
I think the uncle has trust issues
Actually I completely agree here.
Can you blame him though, you just saw how it started for him.
Yet he helps people and stuff. Good nature

Luckiest oji-san
労働ぉおぉ嫌ぁあああああぁぁあぁああぁぁ
He is clueless because he erases all his memories. He literally has no inter personal experience.
Bro! you should really see how ojisan later married to a man LOL!
