Sometimes I get the sense tori doesn't know what's going on while D usually does. He catches all the intricate parts that a lot of casual fans don't catch. He probably can watch Waydi and be amazed at his musicality while others would usually just wait for big moves.
Why still battle? They've battled in every WOD since the beginning, besides street battles/performances since poor hip hop kids in Paris & would love to have their hardworking single mom of 9 be on permanent vacation & also use money for future projects! Most of the acts are pro-dancers of one kind or another, but dancers never get paid much, ask host/dancer Jenna Tatum! One of their missions is to get more respect, awareness, recognition, good jobs & pay for dancers all around the world! They're 'conditioned' to battle hard & are goals: Don't smoke/drink/do drugs/eat healthy/work-out/dance hard daily/loove: music/family/friends/kids,etc..They said they're like a married couple, sometimes can't live w/each other, most times can't live without each other, almost like it's "them against the world" since they were young.. :)
