Dear god I'm so overwhelmed and confused all at once! I think I figured out how they pick up the containers, but how do they open the bottom doors? I must fav this video for the glass collections haha, that's awesome. It's just soooooo damn complicated, jesus! At least they're huge bins that are all over, I assume. I'd be pissed if I had to separate paper from glass from plastics/metals! Awesome video!
Personally I can't think of a worse way to do this, but far be it from me to keep the Europeans from overcomplicating things. It is pretty cool to see though, nice vid!
Slow indeed, looks like it takes around 1:10 per bin as long as they don't have to hold it over the hopper for too long, and they would have to if the bins were bigger and/or more full. Most of the bins here don't look close to being full. Between the arm and the hopper, there isn't much room left on the frame for the body, especially shows on the little single axle truck.
