Hi Emma, Wow! You got so much done!!! It is lovely this time of year. I noticed the hedgerows are really greening up now and the sun is out....have a fabulous weekend Take care,Annie 🐞🐝🌱
What a great find, looked like stone, then you knocked on it 😂 going to look great with strawberries 🍓 in it. Oh wow yes it does look great now they are in there. Good job there are drainage holes in there too!! So many don’t. All looking really great Emma 😊 Rhubarb taken very well 👌 Have a lovely week 😊 Allie & Tricia xx
Yes all ready for planting but just have to plan what I’m going to put where now properly and look at what to grow this year and where. Have a fab week
Morning Ems, looking fab I must say 😉 and the allotment doesn’t look too bad either. It’s great to have a helper for sure and Andy is a really good one 💪. I am getting a few bits sown and getting ready for the insanity of March/April growing season. Nice pot good score 😂😂 try not to break it. I don’t see why the potatoes in pots would be an issue they aren’t actually in the same bed. So much going on already should be a great year 🙏. Have an awesome week, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
Going to give it a go I think. I can easily move the pots if it does become an issue. Andy is a great helper but has to be in the mood. He’s done is six monthly visit now.
Can only go one way or another can’t it 😀 I think they will be fine in pots as will have separate soil areas so won’t compete. Will give it a go anyways. Have a great week 😀
I tried carrots in cells last year because I didn't have room at the time.....all were deformed/forked.....even though the root never made it to the bottom of the cell. I struggle with peas because we often heat up in June and they hate that. I grow the dwarf Tom Thumb variety in spring, and those come off faster to give me a crop. It's crazy how we have to net/protect so many crops to get a harvest. Your plot is really looking fab, so tidy.
Yes never say no to help. That is so nice of him. New friend here. Showing you support. You are getting your garden together. Happy gardening
Thank you so much. Yes always good to get a helping hand. Fingers crossed for a fab season ahead
Very productive Emma, things are looking great. The onions and garlic looking great 😊
Thank you Amir. 😀
Hi Emma no dig is the way forward, keep adding compost. 💪👌👍
It does seem a lot better and weeds are easier to remove too I have noticed

Your plot is looking great Emma, love your choice of tunes. It's so nice to see things starting to pop up, isn't it? Have a great week, Fran xo
Thank you. Hard work but it’s nearly spring ready now. Lovely and tidy but I’m sure it won’t last long. Exciting that everything is growing now.

Looks lovely Emma
@cherylprice1790 thanks Cheryl 😀
The plot looks amazing Emma I’ve had to pull up weeds to from my no dig beds to but it will be worth it in the end
Yes all needs weeding I guess. There is a lot less weeds though and easier to pull out
Always great to recycle!
It may have a problem though. The pot needs to be changed now
I'm no expert but I can't see why the carrots won't work, full marks for giving it a go
Can only go one way or another can’t it 😀 I think they will be fine in pots as will have separate soil areas so won’t compete. Will give it a go anyways. Have a great week 😀

Yes that’s what I heard too Robin but never got to the point of forking with seeds so will see what happens.
forked ones still taste good.@@GardenofEmma
You and me both re the carrots. And I've tried everything too. But carrots are always cheap and plentiful here in nz so i lose that battle gracefully
That is very true. I’m goin g to give one last try and give up so fingers crossed 🤞
Cardboard then mulch it last longer & suppresses better
I always forget about adding the cardboard but yes it does suppress those weeds much better
