This exact type of scenario happened to me, only the guy's mom was a hoarder, and the birthday was supposed to be a sleepover. I remember opening the door to his house and seeing this little path carved through mountains of garbage, with tufts of cat hair floating through the air like poplar seeds in the spring. Few hours later, he ended up angrily abandoning me in his basement after he started losing at a board game. I had to call my parents to pick me up. I'm still friends with the guy all these years later. It took him a while to find himself, but getting a boyfriend really helped.
I know I’m late, but here’s my theory: I don’t think Isaiah killed his mom. All of his actions seem like that of a kid who’s trying to do what he knows are “normal” but not knowing how to execute them. He wants to have a party for his birthday: he knows he needs to invite people (making a hand-written card for someone). But he does nothing for an actual party. No music, no drinks, no food, no decorations, nothing. He tells the boys to leave their shoes at the door. He traps the mice on the sticky pads. He takes the full trash bags out of the bin. All of these things seem like something a caring mother would do to keep a home, but because he’s a kid, he doesn’t know *how* to keep a home or all the steps. He knows to keep shoes at the door because it keeps the carpet clean (but no one is vacuuming). He knows you trap pests to kill and get rid of them (what do you do with the carcass?) He knows to take trash out of the bin when it’s full (does he know when trash pickup is?) The biggest one is having no food in the house. His only meal is probably at school because no one is able to grocery shop anymore. I think the mother had an accident (maybe she fell, choked, who knows) and Isaiah found her body. He doesn’t/didn’t know what to do, so he put her body under his mattress to hide her, and is trying his best to go about his day as normally as he can (obviously with hiccups you’d expect from a kid his age). I think he’s just a kid who had a caring mother who kept a clean, well-maintained home, but now that she’s gone, he just doesn’t know what/how to do that. So he follows the rules he knows without knowing *why* it’s a rule to begin with
i know it’s silly to say but like, i hope isaiah isn’t too far gone with whatever he’s got going on. like he’s clearly still an innocent kid that just needs some love
I feel so bad for Isaiah’s home life, no parents at the house and just has a very horrible living conditions and what influenced him with so much hatred
I can honestly say Lars was me in high school. I was a metalhead with kyphosis who just made friends with anybody. I also was incredibly high on weed and nonchalant about everything. Fugger even reminds me of someone I was pretty close to in real life. I really found myself associating with strange people. Some of them may have been legitimately disturbed people but I just kinda liked listening to people and I gave zero fs and didn’t take anyone that seriously. I’d still be pretty honest with people if I disagreed with them but I was pretty passive and shy generally. His little brother even reminds me of my nephew who I lived with. I feel like this kind of archetype of a chill dude in high school can be summed up by something someone told me “you seem kind of retarded on the surface but you might actually be one of the smartest people I’ve met”.
I discovered this channel about 30m ago and already watched most of the serie. It's so good, great writing, voice acting and animations. Well done looking forward to see more!
The way Isaiah describes Mr. Foley is almost poetic, illustrating his intelligence and talent as a writer. I also like how perfectly the name "Isaiah" suits this character.
I went to group counseling with people like Isaiah in high school to make sure we wouldn't shoot the place up, when in reality the school couldn't comprehend or even help with the struggles that we were going through. The counselor was just making sure we wouldn't snap, and I'm glad none of us did. Your series is amazing and I can't wait to see more❤
Bruh all Isaiah needs is a friend who shares his interests with different philosophical views as him. Feel like that relationship would be the best possible for someone like him.
I think the other commenters are dead-on, the state of the house and lack of available food lends itself to the idea that he may have killed his parents. There's also signs of a cat in the house, though one is never seen. I think that if it was just weaponry the response wouldnt have been to bail immediately, as they were already looking for "cool contraband". There was definitely some kind of corpse under that bed.
Please more of him ❤️ it’s so interesting to see a perspective of many troubled individuals rather than portraying them in a bad light and his character really manages to bring a lot of mixed emotions

I end up rewatching all of these whenever a new one comes out.
This feels like an adult swim cartoon. The characters are very iconic!
I love Lars so much, he’s just so chill about everything constantly 😭
If you listen carefully at 5:42 you can hear gunfire in the background. Indicating that it is most likely guns under that bed. No wonder why they wanted to leave.
It took him a while to find himself, but getting a boyfriend really helped.
good for him, i hope hes still doing good to this day
Now he’s a different kind of hoarder HEY-O
i was kind of this kid, thank u for being there for him even though he was struggling
That last part cracked me up, thanks for the laugh man.
@@ChaoskochWhat's funny about that? Gay kids exsist, man.
So he follows the rules he knows without knowing *why* it’s a rule to begin with
Bro . Interesting theory fr nd u write really well
Very interesting. I like finding out more and more about this series and fanbase
"yeah he's probably trying to save paper" meanwhile he wrote an entire novel for the invitation
its absurd how surprisingly likeable the main two kids are next to every other character
Usually I laugh at all of these, but this one just felt sad
I binge watched this at 3 am last night and i thought it was a fever dream. Criminally underrated, I hope it blows up someday
Same lmao
Doing this right now
@@OfficialPisser BRO ITS 3AM IM EATING EDIBLES RN
yellow guy looks like the cobbler, so im glad this cartoon was able to be completed
i know it’s silly to say but like, i hope isaiah isn’t too far gone with whatever he’s got going on. like he’s clearly still an innocent kid that just needs some love
I can smell Isaiah through the screen the character is so well written it’s hella uncomfortable.
Hahahaha man that’s wild! So hyped you used my cover man 🍻 appreciate you for the credits as well!
yooo the legend in person
I have very quickly fallen in love with this series. All the weird little jokes, references, and nuances really connect with me, I enjoy this so much!
"You can leave your shoes at the door" *looks at the horror that is the carpet* "uhh no"
This series is the best animated thing on TH-cam, hands down! In love with every episode❤
I was genuinely sad when he said it’s the best day of his life and then started crying
The part where the Kid that lives in a meth house asks everyone to take their shoes off by the front door, and no one does. Thats Real.
dude how is this channel not at like a million subs this is really good. Your animation really captures how awkward kids are its so funny.
I feel so bad for Isaiah’s home life, no parents at the house and just has a very horrible living conditions and what influenced him with so much hatred
I think he killed his parents or something and he has the decomposing bodies under his mattresses idk tho
You talk too much to be Lars
@@Wirzxcvefr bro wrote his whole life story
You sound like a cool version of Fugger.
1:45 "O-oh hey, you made it!" BRO IDC HOW CRINGE HE IS, THE JOY WHEN THEY SHOWED UP😭
I discovered this channel about 30m ago and already watched most of the serie. It's so good, great writing, voice acting and animations. Well done looking forward to see more!
I can’t get over how amazing this show is
The way Isaiah describes Mr.
Your series is amazing and I can't wait to see more❤
I honestly relate to every character in this show lmao they’re all like different aspects of my personality….
Yeah you should get checked
these are so fucking awesome i just binged all of them !!! i hope you guys get to continue with these series because this shit literally goes hard
Bruh all Isaiah needs is a friend who shares his interests with different philosophical views as him. Feel like that relationship would be the best possible for someone like him.
That actually really hit me in the feels.
I actually love this show because it makes me realize im not the only awkward person at my school lmao
I am so glad i stumbled onto this gem of a series
How is lars so frickin chill
This episode is too realistic, I love the Mundane Tragedy of it.
Ikr
Mundane tragedy is such a perfect description of this.
4:42
I absolutey LOVE how Lars just casually asks for snacks 😂😂😂
Man's gotta eat
what was Isiah keeping under the mattress?? this episode is so well paced and animated!
My guess is the bones of his mom.
@deussalt4479 the condition of the house definitely makes it seem like he has dead parents
probably the gun he was going to use in Killer Bars
I think the other commenters are dead-on, the state of the house and lack of available food lends itself to the idea that he may have killed his parents. There's also signs of a cat in the house, though one is never seen. I think that if it was just weaponry the response wouldnt have been to bail immediately, as they were already looking for "cool contraband". There was definitely some kind of corpse under that bed.
@@mothghost5047also when he's talking about Lars not coming to the party he says "I don't need him, I don't need *them*, I don't need anyone,"
Lars sounds like moist kritical
Been watching this since the release of your second episode, you’re gonna get big.
Please more of him ❤️ it’s so interesting to see a perspective of many troubled individuals rather than portraying them in a bad light and his character really manages to bring a lot of mixed emotions
I LOVE BRIDGE KIDS!! Fantastic episode as always!!
Just found this channel today, the one I found was the uhhh school one, anyways, super surprised this is not popular! I thought this stuff would get serious attention. Hope more people will find you guys! Lovely animation, voice acting, character design, background, etc. Keep up the good work!
