Wow, that was a flashback in time...lived there from 1971 to 1991... things haven't changed that much, perhaps a few more STOP Signs & a lot more tourists! Great video. ;-)
I love this place I went in June 13th 2008 and September 2010. I just love Noca Scotia my last trip was in August 2014 to Halifax. I'll return when Covid is over.
I watched the video and truly loved it. I was also watching in anticipation of seeing a great shot of Lunenburg Academy. I know you were driving through and not walking and all that jazz, but I was hoping you'd pull into the parking lot and perhaps it might have the full shot (as you turned in ) and the grave yard beside it. I do really appreciate your videos and I subscribed and I liked this (and your other) videos as well. I dreaded making a comment - I was just truly hoping to see Lunenburg Academy on this video. I know I can just type it in Google, etc., and see it. I could also drive there in person, but I got in a few car accidents and I'm not a brave driver anymore...so I don't like making the trek alone. It's been a few years now (actually several), and I miss it so much! :D Thank you for your video.
Thank you for your comment. I'm happy that you enjoy my videos. I did visit (and shoot a video, of course) the building last year (th-cam.com/video/1vA6ilHqzuQ/w-d-xo.html). I was tempted to pull in on this drive, but I thought it would ruin the flow. It's an eye-catching building for sure. It would be neat to shoot a video inside it.
Thank you for posting that video. I should have checked your other videos more thoroughly before I commented. I love the video of Lunenburg Academy and I would LOVE to tour inside too!! The history behind it, ghost stories, etc., are so interesting to me. I loved little Sophia McLachlan's grave...I'm glad they honored her with the wrought iron broken heart around her grave, and story of her being falsely accused of stealing $10 from her employer. I love Lunenburg so so much, and again thank you for a great video! When I win the lottery, I will buy one of those beautiful Unesco homes, where none of the original wood has been touched or painted (that's the worst)! I will keep the original owners pictures by the foot of the stairs. :D
cool stuff, I was watching to see if you'd drive up to the golf course (past my house) but you just stayed downtown. Cheers from "Steb" (Steve) in Lunenburg... here's a link to my old Banff Driving channel, lots of eye candy :: th-cam.com/users/banffdrivingvideos
Thank you so much 💟 underbar video, hade väldigt gärna flyttat till Lunenburg!
Loved seeing where I have friends, go to the grocery store and restaurants too...now do a film of Lunenburg to Kingsburg.

Another wonderful peaceful drive with you. So relaxing. Thank you for the silence and beauty.
Nice, quiet, remote and Canadian.
