basically nomad is for poor ppl and pcvr is for high end ppl :D (im jk nomad is just for the low graphics of quest 2 but pcvr is for pcs which can go with a 4090 lmao)
As a nomad player which is trying not to see any 1.0 videos so I dont spoil anything. I liked this video for not spoiling too much. I am still trying to keep the 1.0 update a surprise while wait for them to port the update.

for a game so popular in the vr world, this is the first video I'm seeing that is actually comparing the two versions from different platforms
a very big difference is the physics , for example if you get two swords and hit them together quickly on nomad they will just pass through each other but on pc they collide
I'm on nomad and my swords collide
@@LINK-hw3dx they do but very poorly compared to pcvr , and they dont actually touch perfectly theres colliders that are around the sword not directly on it , and if you do it fast they wont collide. just get 2 swords and try put them through eachother

Im so glad I finally moved on to pcvr, even though my pc is very last gen it still handles the game really well. The only bad thing is that the recording looks way better than the actual gameplay, still its more realistic than nomad by miles.

From being a nomad player to Pcvr, I think just general jank is also reduced. For example, sometimes if I were to attempt to parry an attack, it would just morph through my sword.
I only have this on Nomad. It is fun, but it is extremely glitchy and laggy . Wish i could hook my Quest 2 to the PC in hope of it maybe playing faster but it doesn't seem to work at all. Bonelab was a waste of $40 too. I can't do anything in that game from the videos i seen and all of that stuff is the reason i bought it.
1.0 on nomad is adding citadel. making the graphics basically almost the exact same as pc js no bloom or shadows and stuff

Cool. Anyways this is what you need of somewhere close to get the pcvr version Graphics card: A good video card is important for transferring images to a VR headset without delay. Some recommend a GTX 1060 or higher, while others recommend an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or higher.
Processor: A higher-powered processor is needed for VR, such as an Intel Core i5, i7, or i9, or a Ryzen 5 or 7 H-series chip.
RAM: A minimum of 16 GB of RAM is recommended for VR gaming.
Input: USB, HDMI, or Display Port are all good options for input.
Other specifications: Some recommend a solid state drive and Windows 11 64 bit.
The quest 3 is insanely powerful just look at Into The Radius or Assassins creed. I'm sure they could port the PCvr.
as a pcvr player blade and sorcery is harder to run then into the radius but i sill think the quest 3 could run citadel but my low tier pc is around 2.5 times faster then the quest 3 so they could port it but it would have pretty bad fps
they will never ever port the exact same version of pcvr which is ran on a pc worth 1000$ on a standalone headset like the quest 3

Whenever I watch pc Blade and Sorcery gameplay I can't help but think that the enemies behave a little differently, like they have different attacks, attack faster, and are just overall harder.
I went from nomad to pc, worth the 30 dollars 100%

I got Nomad because most games when you buy the Standalone version, you also get the PC version, so is a Win/Win
That's the case for Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Medal of Honor VR and Hubris, but unfortunately not for B&S
Still Nomad is fun and they are updating the game now
citadel was just released so u dont have to play only on pc its available on quest 2 now as a mods so just look it up
if you are, for some reason, here to see if you should buy something like an index or quest 3, *pcvr is miles better* in terms of fluidity, graphics, performance, and mods (which practically double the fun of the game if you use them right)

i got the PC vr nomad somehow, it looks like pcvr but is still nomad, idk how or why and even in recordings it looks good still
thats only for pcvr if you scroll down a bit and look at the headsets supported, it will say rift
blade and sorcery nomad is just normal blade and sorcery but optimized for the quest
Even tho im gettin nomad, its still an awsome game

@@thememest2873 ur right, i get around 400 fps in fortnite, i get 3000fps in minecraft, i can say more but i wont. Im a bit confused myself because the game was laggy, and still very confused
@@redeployment i mean placing blocks in minecraft is a little harder to run then a physics simulation
@@thememest2873 you mean easier, and yes, it is, but my computer is very strong, and in battlefeild 2042, i get around 350 fps, so its the games problem, possibly a bug or other issue

I feel like the creator of blades and sorcery nomad just put no efforts into the game, like by example, it crashes you game went you download any Cool mod
The reason this could be happening could be because:
1. The mods you are downloading could be for pcvr so make sure you are using the in-game mod menu.
2. It could be because you forgot to make sure the mod is for the version of the game you are playing on (eg. you could be playing on 12.0 but the mod you have is for 11.0.)
3. You could have too many mods installed. Try deleting some mods to free up your memory so you can get new mods.
4. Give the developers a break. Maybe the mod you are installing is too big for the actual game. Also, the devs do put effort into the game, for example, they are working their butts off trying to make crystal hunt in nomad for 7 year old little timmy crying about not being able to fight a big golem boss. The point is, Blade and Sorcery is a big game, and trying to fit all that in a tiny little headset meant for games with low graphics (eg. gorilla tag as it is pixelated and very basic) so just give the developers a break.
And please don’t say you aren’t reading all that because it really isnt that long. You have probably wrote an essay longer than this. Also, if you aren’t reading all of that then please do not complain about the game not being able to run mods as I stated how to fix that in the comment I made above.

@@sabothegamer there are wireless options. i used to use link cable, but i made my computer crash so i just switched to virtual desktop (steam link on meta quest is the best free wireless connecter from pc to standalone)
