I just bought mine off ebay and I can't wait to get it. I love this movie. Actually I love all those 80's(and early 90's) sci-fi movies like Event Horizon, Deep Star Six, Leviathan, Virus, etc. They take me back to those late night movie scare-fests as a kid. I really wish they made more of those kinda movies nowadays. Anyway, I'll probably be doing a touch-up on mine as well after seeing how well yours came out. Nice job!
Really cool. I get very fascinated when I see complex machines. Even if they're just toys, the parts that they make to look complex as in the movie. You did a great job on the paint too.
Wow, that Goliath repaint is really nice. I wish I was able to re-paint figures, I don't trust myself enough lol, I'd probably fuck up or something. If for some ridiculous reason you decide to ever sell your Goliath, hit me up! But I imagine you'll be holding on to it for life, for good reason! It's beautiful!
I'm glad you found this film and i hope for you that you will get the figures someday. There is a Goliath figure on ebay right now, but its from USA. (05.2024)
Buen video.
There's a product called Rejuvenate Wood Floor Polish, it will tighten up those hip joints without making them unable to pose anymore. Hope you haven't glued them yet!
If you put some drops of very watery glue or nail varnish in the joints and keep moving them as it dries, it should make them tighter but still useable.
Good work! Very good movie... even more we are now building and beyond with those robot insects. I remember when I first saw one (insert robot), this movie came to mind immediately. I'm working on an autonomous 1:8 scale rock crawler and the possibilities keeps growing. Liked and subbed :) p.s. I'm not a Google fan either, but I gave when I started posting :)
awesome showcase . always wanted the Goliath but it was too expensive in the only show I saw it in. but those repaints are nice. I know its been a while since you posted this but if you still have it and didn't glue the legs some furniture polish can tighten loose joints on figures
That movie was pretty good for a sci-fi movie at the time. I read the comic back when I was a kid, and it was way better than the actual movie though. I think that if this movie were to be rebooted today, we would get a heck of a movie!
Maybe the director just found the concept alone intriguing enough to make something of his own than just a "copy by the books". Or he just wanted to make a special effects heavy and gory movie. Who knows.
@@DerMovie1984 in the comic, the Virus was just an alien computer virus that hijacked it could. In the movie suddenly it was a lifeform that decided humans were the virus....one makes logical sense...& the other was in the movie. Still loads of daft fun though & makes a great double bill with Deep Rising :-)
Hell yea! I loved this movie. I remember thinking "Wow, this movie had some real meat to it, it's been ages seen I've seen a good horror movie", so I was surprised when my movie buddies all felt it was trash.
{SPOILERS} I didn't mind the movie. I thought the animatronics were pretty good and a nice thing to see after so much CGI in modern films. I also didn't mind the plot, as it's refreshing to see an alien using humans for spare parts rather than something to just eat.
Movie was a head of its time, you should also try to find a movie called Moontrap, it has a a similar story about alien robots that turn humans into spare parts.
Good video, I wish I could buy those repaints but I would prefer to hear your real voice because I just hate it when people use text to speeches because its just so overused and just sounds bad
Understandable. I can speak english, but with a heavy german accent. =S I will maybe try to speak in one of my videos, if i find something that is worth making a video about. Thank you for your comment. =)
I enjoyed it! First time i saw it, this movie tense as fuck for me atleast when i was young like 8 years old but it is still good today and more and more i look at that movie, these bots remind me terminator but that is no shit! :)
An underrated gem. It's a sci-fi horror masterpiece-- who says everything has to be on the nines; shame on you though for repainting rare action figures💩👎
The practical effects were awesome in the movie. Kudos to the staff for creating these monstrosities. And these figures are freaking epic.
That repaint of goliath looks awesome! gj!
In this case the robot voice is kind of fitting lol
i liked virus as well
The energy being uses humans and technology to assemble an army

Una pregunta todavía en 2022 se pueden comprar oh ya no existen en eBay
I wish someone would make a Goliath sized action figure of the DEATH MACHINE with Brad Dourif. That has another cool looking killer robot.
That would be so cool.
Spoken like man who knows his movies! Awesome movie by Stephen norrington who directed blade.
this collection is so cool! I really wanted to have this Goliath!

I wish NECA will acquire the rights of this movie and recreate/remake these figures made by NECA co. itself
i have the goliath this video makes me want to repaint it so bad. awesome work
These guys remind me of the Strogg from Quake 2
I fell in love with this film recently and I am saddened that these figures cannot be purchased in Russia
I'm glad you found this film and
i hope for you that you will get the figures someday.
There is a Goliath figure on ebay right now, but its from USA. (05.2024)
Your repaint really made them look better
great movie
Awesome paint job!
thanks =)
To be honest, The goliath figure looks like something out of warhammer 40k for the chaos side.
agreed ^^
This movie was awesome.
I have the Jamie Lee Curtis character
Virus, The Thing, Deep Down, Blob 2(well the remake i mean). are my top three movies from that era.

Dross me trajo aki de no ser por el ni idea de la pelicula existiera xd
Yo tuve el gusto de verla en el cine. Saludos.
Maaaan, I wish my Goliath figure I have looked like that!! Sick job!!!
thanks =)
Some floor polish should tighten those joints right up no need for glue
Goliath would make cool Chaos Defiler for Warhammer 40k, provided it would fit the scale.
There's a product called Rejuvenate Wood Floor Polish, it will tighten up those hip joints without making them unable to pose anymore. Hope you haven't glued them yet!
This and Screamers are two of my favourites.
Virus was fuckin dope. Rip squeak
If you put some drops of very watery glue or nail varnish in the joints and keep moving them as it dries, it should make them tighter but still useable.
Good work!

I did used some furniture polish. It helped quite well. But thank you anyway for the recommendation. =)
realy cool bad evil robot toy , and ¿hoo soundrack is, is the movie?
I didn't realize this movie rated its own action figures.
Put a bilt of talc powder in the joints, zou can do it with a small brush. It will help them become more rigid again.
3:21 the song from the darkness (2007) game
I had no idea this movie had any merchandise for it
I never got the hate for this film. I really enjoy it. Wouldn't mind getting some of the toys myself.
Here from movie junkie, Good movie
Don't care what people say. Loved this film. Awesome practical effects. "Checkmate"
i loved this movie!
Goliath - still scary shit
Where you buy it?Please tell me.
ebay. these figures are very old.
Thanks ,I finded it.
I have no idea...its too expansive, nearly 4000 rub(80$).I think, that capitan alexey and goliath are the best action figures.
I saw the movie back in the day with my friends, I liked it a lot. I wish I got that figures in the time.
That movie was pretty good for a sci-fi movie at the time. I read the comic back when I was a kid, and it was way better than the actual movie though. I think that if this movie were to be rebooted today, we would get a heck of a movie!
agreed, but only if they use puppets and animatronics for the close-ups.
Love the movie and the figures! Great flick if you are searching for something similar to System Shock :)
Thanks for your kind tip. System Shock is one of my favorite games. =)
@@DerMovie1984 Cool you are welcome :]
You might be able to tighten the leg joints with floor polish
Be cool if necca did a rerealise on those figures
This guy has some mad painting skills
Pretty cool figures!
As per prior comments, the original comic had a much tighter story then the movie...no idea why they changed it
Maybe the director just found the concept alone intriguing enough to make something of his own than just a "copy by the books".

Amazing how a little paint can take a toy into collectible grade.

Same, same -___-
Only one of my friends liked it.

you will enjoy Adeptus Mechanicus miniatures from Warhammer 40k
Awesome cuatom job!!

The repainted versions probably wouldn't look out of place in Doom.
These 6in figures?
I love this movie too nice work
Hey, l love it. One of best for robotics taking over human, making them has part of it..
More @$*& up way from robotics and super @#$& up for human..
Movie was a head of its time, you should also try to find a movie called Moontrap, it has a a similar story about alien robots that turn humans into spare parts.
awesome figures man also the movie is actually good albeit a bit silly but it doesn't suck .
these are real?
yes, they are real.
@@DerMovie1984 ohhhhh hell yeah
Captain Alexi looks like a termanator from termanator
I want to see this movie
Yeah I really liked that movie.
Vro this Goliat thing is creepy

we human can do anything that moves like this and yet still no gundam
How am I not sure you're *one of them*
One has to wonder why they think making a toyline for a movie that is not for children makes any sense at all....
evolution of terminators 😁😁😂
now i know how terminators turned their back on humans
😂😂😂😁😂😄
maybe should mix 2 movies like alien vs predator
yuva yuva the fuck is an arlin
Xavier Branch 🤔🤔🤔
this movie is good
like if some of the fugues remind you of terminator.
I enjoyed it! First time i saw it, this movie tense as fuck for me atleast when i was young like 8 years old but it is still good today and more and more i look at that movie, these bots remind me terminator but that is no shit! :)

DerMovie 1984 yep, I hear him swivel in my sleep
Ayye jobby fans
Shove it up my ass

virus its URGOT XDDD
"Unlogical" lol
I though the movie was really good
Movie wasn't bad.... the comic books were better.
elvirus.rovon
unlogical????
yep, some people want their scifi, monster horror movies with comprehensible logic. ^^
No, it really was bad! A great idea, badly done. Flawed gems like this are the perfect movies to be rebooted.
Kj16V at least you agree it's got a chance. We know it could had been worse
