gotta love that accidental clickbait by the other two evils being covered by the length of the video. I was so confused about why the psychopath was the only evil, I clicked the video just to double check what the psycopath's ability is, but now I can't just stop watching it.
One of my best friends is a psychopath, or at least had heavy psychopathic tendencies. He's a great guy. Blunt, says it how it is, and is very chill to be around. He's arrogant, but in a good way. Says everyone should be their own favorite person. He encourages me to be more confident in myself.
2:04:30 did... did Edd just try to throw suspicion of himself by saying he doesn't believe that Aggie is evil, thereby suggesting he thought Evee evil, even though, to win as soon as possible, he needed to get himself or Aggie executed, or for people to nominate Jamie which they weren't going to do?
Too much TB, you get the tingles when you are a top 4 bouncing off something weird. The fact that I was pinging of literally the recluse and. The librarian was very funny to me in review but pure chance. By ‘recluse librarian’ I mean invest acting as librarian, it happens a lot.
Gambling: "Who's the Psychopath?" Ben: "Either Kat or Chris is the Spy." Gambling: "Alright. Recluse. Librarian." 👀 Gambling later: "Two Ed(d)'s are better than one." 🤣 (I don't know how he spells his name so let's parenthesize it for good measure.) People whining in chat about Edd getting the character he wants reminds me of something I did in-person like that for enjoyment reasons. I had a player who is HORRIBLE at bluffing and he didn't want to play if there was a chance he could be the Demon or had to lie a lot to cover himself. He asked me for a Townsfolk. I told him I'd handle it. I announced to the group before starting that I was going to pre-assign his role and the rest would be random draws so he could enjoy the game, but he won't know what he's getting so it'll still be random. Everyone was cool with it. I made him the Drunk and I had someone see him as potentially evil. Everything went fine. People tried to meta what I would've picked for him, but there was doubt on whether I framed him or gave him an easy evil role. I think swapping characters in/out at setup and notifying the relevant players is perfectly fine as long as you do it in a way that doesn't affect gameplay. Of course, it's much easier to do online than in person. If you think players are going to meta the role they used to be, just swap someone else into it on the first night. If your players don't learn to stop trying to meta off any setup changes, then just do a full reset every time there's an issue with setup and maybe they'll get the point. My two cents at least.
I think Jamie killing last night was a blunder. If they refrained, Good need to choose 1/5 instead of 1/3 to win, because a starpass is possible. Seems strictly inferior to do that at that point...
30:17 If edd had voted here he would have confirmed eevee as not the demon. It's very tricky to make quick decisions but i think he made the right call
Way too late for this to be anything new, but would that "Librarian/Recluse" call be because a real spy would register as a townsfolk? (It's meta-gaming a bit, but outing a spy as a spy would be making poor use of the passive "may register as" ability.)
11:50 Ben you have developed your own storyteller style, certain things you do repeatedly. I dont mean to say youre becoming predictable per say but you do have your own meta
in the first game, it was just a slow burn and evil wasted a lot of opportunities but that second game? I blame it entirely on Edd. Good was literally in agreement that he or Aggie were the Demon. and then he tries to gain their trust by saying that he believes Aggie? he singlehandedly shifted the attention away from the two people that were safe to kill and onto the demon. he could've just sat there. let everyone talk. and when he was inevitably put on the stand, said "I don't know how often I have to repeat myself. I'm the Ravenkeeper. My power was useless bc there was a Spy. I don't know who might be the Spy or Demon, but killing me is a bad idea." and left it at that. but no. he had to go out of his way to "prove" he was good by supporting the only Townsfolk left alive, who people thought might be evil since her claim seemed suspicious? he even nailed why it was suspicious, framing as a guess what he knew as a Spy. and then, when he is put on the block after all, that's when he stops acting all "don't throw any suspicion on me! I'll pull out any defence!" and just admits to being evil... effectively proving he wasn't the Demon? and like, maybe he hoped this would work as a doublebluff, people distrusting him initially to read his defence of Aggie as a Minion covering the Demon. but it was just not done that way. It just drew attention to Eevee when there was none. and we see how it ended, on a day when evil was looking really damn strong.
It is just so hard for evil to win. You have to survive a final 3, and even if the good are voting without information at the end, you're not much better than 1/3, and it is not hard for 1 person to be confirmed, then it just get harder
If demons kill confirmed people, and use their information advantage to confir themself, they are the ones in the strongest position. Most of the games good have advantage, but if evil can confirm themself and kill all confirmed they are the ones whit an advantage Sorry for bad english
Adam was taken off of NRB, seemingly a result of an accusation of misconduct from Carley. No evidence on either side currently. It was a bit of an edgy joke lol
Love these videos! Does anyone happen to know the discord bot they are using? I've tried to find one for my group and have been having a hard time finding an active bot
If you mean the one they use for moving people too and from the cottages for the night stage etc. It's called "Moveer", but I'm pretty sure it's a custom bot and so I'm not sure if it's publicly available. You might be able to ask a mod on the unofficial server.

how does psychopath work with nominating yourself? is it just a rule that you can't or could you do it and I guess play rock paper scissors with yourself?
I made a tutorial for it ages ago, you can see it here www.reddit.com/r/BloodOnTheClocktower/comments/no93er/how_to_set_up_a_discord_server_to_play_and_record/ We don't use Discord anymore, as the official app does everything it did. - Ben
Psycho is HARD to play. So much power gets to your head, but past your first activation no one is giving you ANY info, so it’s very easy to accidentally do a lot of world pruning for town.
@@TheGamblingisgood Which is fair. It just came off really weird that evil was doing really well and then suddenly lost in two games back to back like that. Adam did great in Game 1 with 6 players left to pick the demon (only 1 of six players was a info roll which is impressive). Game 2 had Psycho getting all the Info Day 1, but just not peoples social reads. It makes the roll seem like bad luck.
psychopath's actually an outdated term with no baring on our current medical understanding of mental health, psychology, sociology, etc. It persists in general use because it's a trope, but that's all it is; a trope.
It is definitely a recognized and widely-used term among mental health professionals, it's just not a condition that can be in any way diagnosed. It's more of a label than a condition.

The accidental late Psychopath claim from Jamie, omg

11:40 Gambling, wha … huh?! How’d they do that?!? Maybe the most amazing call I’ve seen in a game
And then Edd goes and pulls another one for himself

And Edd is a magician. (But actually that was a reasonable guess based on the other claims he’d been given by other players at that point)
Having a Minion that everyone wants to execute might be good on scripts that rely on starting/going through with executions...
Love all this content I’ve just found… I followed you from NRB Ben.. anybody know where to find some online games for newer players?
The unofficial Discord server is a great place to start discord.gg/ENqbErjj6f

Evil wins on final three with a psychopath
Gonna need to see an NRB game with a Psychopath. I think Blampied or Carley would play it beautifully
They made one with Holly. She was not just playing the role, she WAS the role.
This comment has taken on a new meaning with the current controversy.
@@edwardg8912 What happened?

Essentially saying either Adam is a psychopath for doing something like that, or Carley is a psychopath for making something like that up
Is there a video with Alchemist Psychopath? I guess the demon would off them as soon as they're revealed, but would be fun for a couple minutes.

Can't wait to see a psychopath alchemist.
But I guess they just die to demon after their first swing?
A Legion game with Psychopath Alchemist could be interesting? Or a Heretic?
Whats the discord bot you use to play on discord?

I just thought of a decent townsfolk role
