Axar Patel’s catch to dismiss Marsh actually made ESPN Sportscenter’s Top 10 plays of the day. I don’t ever remember seeing a cricket play pop up, no less on a day when the Stanley Cup final ended, the College World Series ended, and a bunch of outstanding baseball and WNBA plays also featured.
Awesome - maybe USA have caught the cricket bug even more thanks to this tournament. Let’s hope so. What a catch it was though, and a huge moment to swing the momentum of Australia’s innings back India’s way.
It was a small consolation of revenge for Indians yesterday after the Australian match. But meeting England in the SF brings back memories of the 2022 WC SF where England won easily and went on to be the champions. Hope India can take revenge against them for the SF defeat. Everyone talking about India being the favourites but after what happened last year on Nov 19th, no indian fan will celebrate until the final ball has been bowled as no one can go through the agony of defeat again so fast especially when last year’s wounds are still fresh and have not healed yet.
Us NZers know about the agony a final after what happened in 2019, but surely it is time for India fans to believe! 😀They’re looking more and more impressive with every game that goes by. Hoping the pitch/weather don’t play too big of a part and they players get to decide things on the field from here on.
@@thetoporderpodcast We can only hope for the best but the result is beyond our control. But the thought of getting another heartache so soon is dreaded by all Indian fans. We can accept loses in SF n Final as it has happened 4 times in past 3 years , 2 WTC final , 1 ODI final and 1 T20 SF . I can’t explain in words how agonising was the ODI final defeat for indian fans as this defeat was devastating and broke the hearts of many indian fans and will take years to get over it.
@@mrgyani True wat you say but after Nov 19th defeat, i do not want to be too optimistic Better be cautious as the hurt will be a bit less then if England wins
Please please, don’t mention the word favourite together with India as it’s a jinxed word for the team. Enough of everyone calling India the favourites but later laugh loudly after the inevitable defeat happens in every ICC tournament. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You guys have a great team to watch and have earned the favourites tag. Even so, England we expect will present a tough challenge so at least for us as neutrals (except for Binksy who will be cheering hard for England!) there will be no shame for either team if they don’t go all the way.
After that Rohit battering of aussie bowlers it was fun to watch afg vs ban which had 3 teams at stake and the antics at the end were hilarious 😂 Afghanistan deserved to play semis. England will have to come up with a robust plan amd attackinh mindset if they want to go through India.
Yes great for the neutral fans to watch that last Super 8 game with so much riding on it and so many ways it could go for the majority of the match. India seem to be improving every game so if they can keep playing with this freedom they’re going to be very hard to stop.
Australia depending on Bangladesh winning, but not in less than 12 over must be a terrible and unfamiliar feeling and colossal loss of control on their destiny. But, in less than a year mythic unravelling of Australia may have begun.
Yes never good to leave your destiny in the hands of other teams - Australia will be back I’m sure, but it will be interesting to see how many of this group return to the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Surprised by this - we fully expected Afghanistan to beat Bangladesh and thought we had given them plenty of praise, from Gurbaz to Rashid and their ability to adapt to the conditions. They’ll be a tough opponent for SA and could easily go all the way.

Wow just searched and saw it was ranked 2nd, with the first being a Fan catch.
@@thiruvetti Yes, the baseball fan’s one-handed catch was even better than Patel’s, and that’s saying a lot!

True. But that was a different Indian team and a different England team. Our approach has changed since then.

Who the hell is Raj and why does his approval is required 🤣
Raj wants a concrete strip like those in the ipl.
😀
AFG defeating SA won’t be an upset, that should be clear.
Nope - anyone could win it from here!
No it will be an upset.
It will be an upset. Afg has never won against SA.
AFG batting line up is very bad
What an awesome display of hitting that was from Rohit. Two more performances like that and we'll be crowning India champions
And how about that shot from Hardik?!!
So good!
My Ro My Captain ❤❤❤

The fact that AFG is defending lower totals better than India is crazy. What a team.
Yeah a lot of skill in that bowling lineup and really well suited for these conditions.
By the by who is this Raj.Has he ever played the game at any level.A perfect comedy piece.😅😅
Huh?
Great to know that the jokes are landing🤣

Stoinis's send-off of Gurbaz from Sunday is playing on repeat in my brain as we bid farewell to this Australian side. 👋 #karma
😀Gulbadin has certainly been in the thick of the action these past few days!
Gulbadin fell over!!🤣🤣
Classic!
Nice coverege boys🎉🎉
Thanks for the kind words - really appreciate the comment 👍
These jokers cannot digest the fact that Afghanistan has made it to the semifinals. They are extremely biased and lopsided in their analysis
