What do you know about the cowboys and "indians" in the US? Do you have history similar to this in your country?

Appreciate this class, Tanya, it gave me so much historical and cultural information while studying and practicing English. I am also kind of sorry to remind you the unhappy experience when you was taught this history, now I know it's really a complicated, sad and difficult topic in the US. We could not see back 100% accurate history, what we can do is to learn from histories, I think. The saddest thing in our nation (China) is most of us forgot the history, and even learned fake history. And still look forward to hearing from you talking more cultural stories. Merry Xmas to you and your sweet family!

and and thank you again for your kindness and humanity in the talk. Sharing and understanding different histories and cultures are so crucial to make better decisions, know each other better, that's the reason I love these kind of stories, that's also the reason I like western films (old movies like before 70s) where you can find many great ppl there, how they build your country, why the American is so great.

I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed the story and it sounds like it was helpful. We have also been taught fake history or at least parts of history were left out. I also think it is important to learn about these things and I find them so interesting. Let me know if there are other things you would like me tell stories about from our American history. Best wishes to you and yours!

A very important and difficult topic for today dear Tanya. Thanks a lot! I am Ukrainian living in Poland last 7 years. Unfortunately the russian invasion into my country let millions of people abandon their home and relatives and move to foreign countries 😢 Terrible! I only hope, that in 30-50 years, Russians will feel shame, like you Tanya now do, for getting that row deal they have done being blind under Putin's regime. My folk are suffering and Ukrainian people in the whole world have lost their quiet life since 22th February 2022 :(. Me too 😢

    Good morning, Tanya.
About "Chamán", I can tell you: just read it. Gordon is an exquisite writer and also you're going to lear a little bit more on american history, how it was the encounter between american natives and europeans. Belive me, you're not going to be desenchanted at reading. Tears? Depends on you ...of your sensibility.

Today as yesterday there were good and not good people, I think. By the way, I'm reading "Chaman" by Noah Gordon, an historical novel which speaks incicentally about this topic and even though you may say it is just a novel, obviously the writer have an historical important data you can verify in honor the truth. And I see the same thing happened in all America related to the native americans land. I understand this is not an easy topic, too. But it's part of the history of our all America.
Good to text to you again, Tanya. May have a wonder and peaceful merry christmas you and all yours and a happy new year. See next.

@@EnglishCoach3Ts That's how it is, Tanya. I've already read "El Médico". It's another historical novel that develops in the ancient world. Century XI. Speaks about the poor and hard life of Dr. Cole and his tenacious vocation to become himself. It's an unbelievable story. Amazing. You should read it, Tanya. Gordon is fab writer. See you, until next.
