Great review buddy! Just about to buy one in the uk and this is the only video accurately comparing the two models. Really appreciate your effort, time and money spent on this video

Thanks mate!b take appreciate it. I'm just answering the questions that I had myself for years. Figured I wasn't the only one who wanted to know. Since nobody else is really doing it, here we are!

I have HR140DZ and wanted to see how it fares against the HR166DZ, but since you have a CD of FNM King for a Day Fool for a Lifetime, most awesome album!. That is an automatically like and subscription!

Firstly thanks for all the effort put in to making these videos- have watched quite a few whilst trying to decide which model to go for!
Is there much size difference between the 166 12v and 171 18v?

Cheers mate! And they're the exact same size aside from the battery & battery slide.

Although the Brushless was still better in all the test
But with the 1.5 times higher price with Brushless compared to Brushed
I think the 140 it still suitable for home used right? i want to drill small diameters drill bits into light concrete and Brick

Definitely! It's still totally fine for small jobs and if the lower price suits you better then go for it

Thanks mate! How was the sound level? TH-cam seems to turn it down lower than I'd like.
