what is the cost on that card? and what is the compatibility? (i am looking to convert an office printer to wireless for low cost... i mean the printer, refurbished, cost ~50$, so im not willing to spend like double for wirelees... if u can offer another solution for like maybe up to 15$?? or around that target price? thanks in advance)
From the printer specification for the UK: KYOCERA Mobile Print app for iOS and Android, KYOCERA MyPanel, AirPrint, Mopria, Direct Wi-Fi (Opt), Google cloud print. So it is wireless but not directly to your Wifi access point/router/whatever unless you buy and fit the IB-51 card.
I purchased and installed this card successfully on my Kyocera Ecosys M6235cidn and have been able to print from my desktop and laptop. I can't seem to print from any mobile devices (iPhone X Specifically). Have you had any success printing from mobile with this?
@@Supertechs3 in the printers settings? I didn’t see anything about that initially but I will look for it Update: No luck finding it in the settings. What’s stranger, before I got the wireless card, I had the printer hard wired to my router and I was able to use AirPrint flawlessly from the same iPhone with no additional steps or set-up. Now that I have the printer wireless, my phone is not detecting the printer. 🤔

Just purchased one of Kyoceras high end TASKalfa 325ci (Rebranded M6635) and purchase the same IB51 card however non-Apple hardware will not detect the printer even when the printer is connected to WiFi. You use a MacBook Air In the video which uses the Bonjour connection system, however Windows does not. I find it odd that Kyocera would produce a high end wireless card which doesn’t appear to work on windows as most business clients would be using Windows not Macs. I connected my PC to wifi - did a network search but nothing and test pages failed to be printed unless using Ethernet. I don’t know if this is a windows 11 bug / Kyocera software issue but nowhere on the IB51 packaging does it say Apple only. The only other AirPrint card is the IB36 card which is separate. Very odd functionality.
@@Supertechs3 Thanks for responding - Spent the last 4 days troubleshoot on Windows 11 Pro - no outcome and I have 30 plus years of experience in Windows / Mac troubleshooting and it’s still doing my head in. The printer is connected to the WiFI network via the IB-51 no issues (confirmed via printer) however I can only print when using Ethernet. I’ve checked all the configuration pages / settings numerous times. I think the issue is Bonjour which is primarily a mac networking system which cannot be disabled to my knowledge. - Windows does not like it. Even if my PC is connected wirelessly to the same network, the printer name will not appear as an SSID. My mac and Apple devices see the printer because of Bonjour, however my $8,500 PC refuses to see the printer wirelessly. The IB-51 does not feature Airprint unlike the IB-36 card, so I am suspecting this is the issue. I don’t see the purpose of the iB-51 if it operates in this way. To make things worse Kyocera has three different drivers for this printer on their EU / AU / US website and instead of having one large installer they use separate files for each feature. I find it odd for Kyocera to make the IB-51 card which does not seem to do what its designed for. I have had to email Kyocera to explain this situation / the reason / the resolution because it should not be this difficult to setup a wireless printer.
@@SpeedfrkOne On moday I'll test my IB-51 to see if i can get it to connect via Windows and report back my findings. DId you try adding the printer manually through the IP Address?
@@Supertechs3 The printer installed perfectly on my PC even with the kyocera software while it was connected via ethernet including IP address, however simply unplugging the ethernet cable and doing a test print indicates windows cannot find the printer which seems to validate windows cannot detect it wirelessly despite it being connected to my network and even when my PC is connected to the same network. On my macbook pro it magically appeared with its SSID wirelessly, but not windows.
@@SpeedfrkOne I may of had this issue on another printer before. If i can remember correctly, I needed to turn on SNMP for windows to detect the printer, make sure this setting is on in the IB-51 settings. Does the network card allow you to connect to two separate networks at the same time?

I think they are around 500.00 brand new. I found a used one off ebay for 150.00.
Thanks 🙏🏽
No problem!
How about connecting a router to the printer using LAN cable? Can that grant me wirelessly printing?
Yes it will

This should work perfectly fine on windows. Can you try another laptop or pc for troubleshooting purposes?
