      Trust me in the winter they are horrid. But I love these areas in the colder months. Always seem to be fish around them. Like you say hard but bassy. The chase is always better than the catch eh

    good to see You out on the shore
    What do you think of sinking little stickbaits ( for example Westin Moby ) or small metal "jigs" like a Surf seeker?
    Which spots( beach or rocks, deep or shallow) you prefer for the different stages of the tide?
    Hopefully my English is good enough to understand my questions.😅 Maybe you could make a video about that?
    Please be careful as You explained today.
    To all: listen to him when You are out!!!
    I witnessed that an angler could not come back due to the rising water levels.someone rescued him with a small boat.
    But that was pure luck 😮
    All times tight lines

    Nice lure, but where you're fishing you probably would catch on a Tampon 😅

      I wish it was that easy. Blanked the last two sessions. Maybe I should walk a mouse along the surface 😂

    Nice pair of bass… can’t wait until May to get back in the Bass ! white lures are my favourite paddle tails or seekers can’t beat um 👍🏻

    Lovely fat fish that 1st one, well done. Looks a great spot there. White or Pearl fan here too with bonus silver sparkles! Seems to work in all conditions around here.

      Sure does the white YKR a lure for any conditions but I’ve just seen they have a new natural colour out too you seen it? Like a snipe colour

    Nice Bass, white is great colour in softs on the ebb in coloured water when it’s clearing abit , also black or purple then, and brighter and heavier when it’s in the flood Lemons, pinks ,walleye ,reds ,redheads,even orange or bright flouro green in gravy brown water everywhere is different but Takes alot of time to work it out each area and loads of lures lol. I would put Lubina/ Robalo Pesca might get more hits cover both ,tightlines 😎🐟🇪🇸

      Yeh I became a fun of the fluro yellow last year in the bright conditions. Mad how bass react to it right? Some days more over a more natural bait colour. Thanks for watchin my guy. All the best

      @@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey forsure mate ,always enjoy watching your uploads, I often wonder do these fish hit these bright colours because it makes them attack the lure or something ?? maybe there not feeding fish? Definitely some days it’s All dull or all bright lures ,tightlines ,look forward to your next uploads. 😎🐟🇪🇸

      Stay or move on, the big question. Bass are highly mobile and do move with the tide so chances are if you are at a spot that has produced fish it may be worth persevering and wait for the fish to come to you. I have moved and had another fisherman take my spot and hook into a fish in the first few casts. Is this because the fish have moved in or do they prefer the look of his lure? That’s lure fishing😂 I like to cover a lot of ground but it always leaves me wondering, move on or stay for a bit and try different lures. Once you get a hookup you can have confidence in the lure you have in the water but again, should I stay or move on😅😂

    • @darrenwillams3252
      @darrenwillams3252 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@oaken8 that’s very true , Iam more of the thinking work each layer of water with what lures you know that suits the tide your fishing plus water colour, where I fish in winter I start bottom upwards so soft plastics,then metal jigs, then sinking minnows, then floaters,then sub face lures,
      If I was fishing uk in summer it would be the other way surface lures, spoons ,then work my way down then move.definitely don’t want to be in the same area too long but with bass.tightlines 😎🐟

    Cracking advice on the rocks, just Started at the tail end of last season and was working on a sprained ankle from football. Absolutely treacherous rocks when wet. I've picked up the Bestard SAR boots and some NRS dry pants in hope I'm safe and dry lol. Based in Dublin Ireland, novice in terms of lure fishing but love getting out there. Also, cracking channel.

    • @BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey
      @BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not no. A lot of place I wade I’ve walked through many a time at low to see where parts of the reef etc are. Better to be safe

    • @bassonlures
      @bassonlures 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey 100% Sam, our way we're up to waist in water so wading stick is key so we don't fall over or into a gulley, sea bed changes daily with tides etc 👍🎣🐟
