I still haven't done my timing chain! For the 2nd time in 5yrs. NEVER GET A CLOYES TIMING KIT (From O'Rileys)! The plastic guides are garbage. Hopefully will see you around again in the Nissan some time.
@@unleashedxauto It does for a couple seconds when I first start it. And it jingles a little when idling. Sounds like a stuck hydraulic lifter, but it is chain rattle. Hardly notice it. Street Car Revolution? Never heard of it.
Was it squealing at low and high rpm but, when it stopped, you'd here a fan kick on? Need to know cause that's what mine is doing. Every time I ask a "certified mechanic" they keep beating around the bush about it
No nonsense repairing…you’re a gift sir
Thank you.
This was kinda fun to watch. I had an '87 D21 for almost 20 years. Enjoying the Lexus SC videos. Keep it up.
Well thanks, will do.
I have an ‘86 hardbody I need to change my water pump and fan clutch on now. Thanks for the video. I got the parts, just haven’t done the work before.
The z24 might have a different set up.
EXCELLENT! I'm thinking whether or not I should do fan clutch at the same time. 93 D21 4x4 4cyl.
I should’ve put the effort to install electric fans really.
Waterpump and thermostat done on my 1993 D21 last week a little At a time
Nothing wrong with that.
Looking good brother.
Thank you!

If it’s not making noises shouldn’t be an issue right?
Going to Street Car Revolution next weekend?

AnythingAuto car show/ race event at No Problem Raceway.
@@unleashedxauto Nah brother! Most likely not.

No, my temps got a little high so I checked things out and found that the fan wasn’t right.
Mines is screeching I think it’s a bad water pump bearing
The pump isn’t hard to change and doesn’t cost much new. Transferring the old fan to the new pump might be the most time consuming part.
I had to do the same thing
Considered going with electric fans?
