    Happy Black History month. I wish I could post a picture here there was a picture with Rosa Parks, on the bus when I was going to work and the seat was reserved just for her. It was a proud moment for me.

      Ever heard of Claudette Colvin, did it before Rosa Parks but apparently her being a pregnant teenager and not as welloff as Parks didn't look good for the movement but we where supposed to be striving for a common goal.

    Happy black history month to you all. Im 42. When i was in school we learned deep into all of that stuff. It seems they dont teach alot of what they used to and should anymore. We had to do in depth projects on all that stuff. Also that story of the girl graduating at 12 and now getting masters at 15. And the boy that created the soap. Congrata to them. Thats amazing. Also your mom. Is definitely amazing. Ahe was the first mukbang channel i ever started watching years ago. Shes my favorite with seafood boils for sure.

    History is one of my favorite subjects growing up and it was water it down when I was in school and still do! It wasn’t until I became an adult and do your own research you are exposed to the dark side of history which should be learned in school so history doesn’t repeat itself

    Happy Black History Month. It's absolutely infuriating how history is glossed over. What's even worse, what limited and glossy history is taught is being silenced. As a (mostly) Cherokee man (also a quarter Italian), my family and I talk about this endlessly. So good to hear you talking about this my friend.

    It's not many people know who Claudette Colvin is. On March 2, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama
    She was actually the first black female that refused to give up her seat on the bus for a white woman She was 15 years old. Everyone thinks and was taught that it was Rosa Parks.

    • @gloriacook7795
      @gloriacook7795 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are definitely correct Claudette Colvin was a 15 yr old young lady was the one that wouldn’t give up her seat . NACCP felt she was the wrong color and being pregnant they put Rosa in the forefront she was the best suited for the story line . It sad when people don’t research and read pertaining to people of color . Never seen a white or black person Dalvin need to check out crayons for color . Where is black people flag ? Where is their country ? Race card been played out .We all not descendent of slaves . The mind is a terrible thing to waste . Happy to know you are up on your history . Good book to read ‘’THEY CAME BEFORE THE MAYFLOWER .’’
