You have the best reviews! Just subscribed. Is the Kayano good for normal to high arches and plantar fasciitis? I’m not a runner but we have tile floors throughout our home and I have achy feet and plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I’ve worn the Nimbus before but thought about trying these.
It took me a solid week of continual wear - 3 sports and gym wear - to adjust to the 27's. But since adjusting, have loved them. Onto my 3rd pair now, literally wearing them to nubbins.
Josh awesome review. I had Kayanos in 2010. I don’t know what number designation that was perhaps it was 26. I swore by those shoes because I ran over 100 miles in them in my paramilitary training academy. Do you know what series Kayanos they had in 2010? Thanks.
Definitely the width of the sole groves are going to increase traction in the wet over the 100 km/h mark (compare to a car tyre) enhanced by the recent reduction of the rubber toe wet protector.

does it worth to buy 27 if you "just" bought a 26? or ask me differently would you buy a 26 on discount now, or 27 with the full price? basically does it worth it?
The Kayano 25 was too narrow (pointed) in the toe box. Some of my toes were sore as a result. The Kayano 26 felt much roomier and more comfortable, but was about a quarter of an inch shorter in overall length.
Very Recently bought the 27 ( June 2021) for 10k walking dog every day 75 % on golf course and 25% on bitumen or footpath.. I think they too are too light disappointed in lack of cushioning .. I’m no spring chicken .. I like cushioning .. isn’t a lower weight shoe just not as good as a weightier shoe.. had the GT 2000 latest model .. felt they were significantly more “ cushiony” than. The kayano Can you recommend another brand
25 is fitter compare to 26. 26 seems loose at d rear end. Which my feet feels like coming off even i get a half size smaller to try. But im currently using kayano 26 mx which is better fit if compare to d one without mx w my standard size 6.5. Interested in d kayano 27 due to d colors but have yet to try em out.
i had the 25, then change to nimbus 21, now I just got Mizuno sky 4 and is a dramatic difference. I got the Mizuno Skyrise and wow, super light and cushioned. And just two days after I bought finally the Kayano 27 and the difference with all of them is huge, including the 25.
I can explain the sensation wearing the Kayano 27 is like im having more contact with the ground. No too soft cushion but perfect for my feet, specially internal heel. It feels thicker and responsive.
@@carlosgarciabanda my concern is the upper toe area no longer has the protection material and many have had holes appear. It would seem the 26 is the last to have it.
@@CCANGEL333 True i think the upper is not the strongest point in that shoe. Compared with Mizuno wave rider 24/25, the construction of Mizuno is superb compared with Kayano or Nimbus.
Hey Josh, thanks for the great review. To my knowledge, neutral runner here. I’ve been running on/off for several years here averaging 5 miles per run. I’ve heard the kayanos are one of the best, but I’ve never ran in them, I opted w the nimbus instead and I thought they were super cushioned. As of late I’m on the Brooks Ghost 12 and love them. Looking to get a secondary pair of shoes as I’ve been going about 3-4x a week now, would you recommend the Glycerin18 or Kayano27 given that I’ve only ran in Ghost and Nimbus. Thanks
I am on here to see the difference between the 26 and 27. I went through a paramilitary training and put over 100 miles on Kayano 26’s. They were the best shoes I ever ran in. Never had a shin splint. Of NBC purse that requires stretching etc. but I swear by ASICS.
Im just got these, im a size 12 snug fit but on these they feel too big! I feel it i actuslly run in them my foot will be sliding, get a size or a half down, i got them online,

I presently have a katana 27, however, I am 75 and now do walking instead. Would it matter if I got a 26 instead of a 27.

26 are much much better than the 27. They fit weirdly and I’ve had the 24s 25s 26s and now 27s . Very uncomfortable. 26 are the best so far .

Im a 4e wide and found the 26 tight lol.Im going to buy another 1 or 2 pairs.
Why are they not doing the box toe like the 25s

2E is wider then normal Koyona and 4E is more wider
