Loved this episode so far. Sharing it with my husband to watch. He liked the camping part I showed him.

Such an insightful episode! Thank you! My husband and I enjoyed listening to it. Bill’s heart for the Lord is so wonderful to see! To see a conversation between people who want to love and please the Lord makes my heart so happy and at peace while listening. Such an edifying and sharpening episode for us as a family. I wish we lived on the west coast to be friends with all of you lol. God’s many blessings to Elisha, Katie, Bill and their families

I've had the privilege of training with Bill twice, and he has dramatically impacted my life. He has made me a better Christ follower and a more capable man.

Insane how this guy was apart of some of the most legendary military operations in the world and also happens to be one of the nicest/ wholesome person on the planet 😂

    Thank you for this!
Would love a link to the $11 radios he recommends, thank you! There are so many options on Amazon in that price range per unit but often they seem to have bad reviews (about bad range, or that they break often).

Love this!! My husband and son have done a lot of hiking and then my husband is taking the girls to first to camping and we've camped together as a family and hike together as a family, but nothing to the extent of the first hiking trip that you talked about and that's as far as I am in the podcast so far! When I made this comment.
    * My hubby has also done a large portion of the Appalachian trail with my son and they have really enjoyed that too.

The LORD is a warrior; The LORD is His Name. Exodus 15:3
All of our children should memorize this scripture.
Our LORD has made war against AND DEFEATED death, Satan, the powers of darkness m, sin, and our flesh. He has OVERCOME this world. He is MIGHTY in ALL His ways. He takes care of His children. There is nothing weak about the GOD we serve. We should discipline and strengthen every area of our life. Our relationship with the One True and Living God should be of utmost importance. Everything else flows from our solid foundation in Christ.

Great podcast episode, thank you! Just a friendly reminder that Catholicism is the true Church instituted by Jesus Christ and sacred scripture AND sacred tradition is the key to unleashing all there is to Christianity ❤

No it's not. It adds works to salvation. Which is unscriptural. Because Scripture says, ‭‭"Ephesians 2:8-9 [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast." Yall also say Peter was the first Pope. Peter was married. Yall don't have the same Gosple. Therefore not Christian.

What do you do, when you just don't have the funds to go on vacation or hobbies or any extra special things with your teen sons? We are just barely making it paying bills? Even struggle with transportation.

Maybe your area has some local hiking trails?

How about getting all proactive as a family and try to raise some funds. Like getting things that are listed for free on the internet making something out of that and sell it. That should bond you as a family and the boys would learn how to make some money along the way.
      Just an idea.
Today I just had an idea of making compost /fertiliser that I could possibly make 5 k a month on. There is a local mushroom factory that needs their used mushroom growing bedding removed giving it away for free - huge amounts… so that was the starting point of figuring out everything. Maybe there is something similar in your area.
And first thing I would say cut down your cost of living.
      Phone bills, cable subscriptions etc.

I know a family of 7, they are very frugal. Their "trips" would be camping. Once the kids turned a certain age the dad would take the 10 y.o (for example) and go camping with just them on their birthday. They did go on a trip once every few years. But that was their family bonding
It did help they lived right next to the Olympic national forest
