Whenever I see Kazuha’s plunge attack suck enemies in, it makes me think how awesome it’d be if Xiao’s plunges during his burst did that instead of PUSHING THE GODDAM ENEMIES AWAY.
Big facts. That's my number one frustration with Xiao and why I pretty much never take him to floor 12. He pushes enemies away.
If Xiao had a similar mechanic of sucking enemies while using his plunge attack then he would definitely be the most fun character to play imo. But considering how things are, Kazuha have that title of "most fun" for me.

If you have Yun Jin, Shenhe or c6 Bennett you could run him as physical dps, cryo dps or pyro dps 👀

@@nnik345 you are correct, but things could have been tweaked in the new update. Weapons added, new artifact sets, or new team comps with new characters released.
He already tested the new sword with him, but his older weapons are still better.
Kazuha is an awesome character which makes him worth pulling, but what makes him more worth it is that Hoyoverse choosed the best name for Kazuha's burst

Finally, the favonius sword is getting the attention it deserves. Idk why but before, people just dislike using it on kazuha (i remember even zyox himself dislike it as well), now that has finally changed.
It can be way too much ER, depending on your team composition.

I think the realization that fav weapons are actually OP came with the release of Yelan. Being able to run less ER on everyone on your team can be a massive DPS increase. Theorycrafters are even recommending fav sword for Bennett now, even though it has very low base atk. That's how good the extra energy generation can be

Honestly, Kazuha is such a unit, it doesn't really matter that much if you stack EM or crit, both is strong enough to beat abyss (with 36 Stars) and every other content in the game

Got Kazuha in 14 pulls and winning 50/50, such a blessing especially after rolling for a total of 144 pulls last banner for Yelan. Hope everyone out there reading this have good luck on your rolls too
I got some pretty good luck. I got a 5* in 30 pulls lost 50/50 but thankfully it was Mona who I use. I went to soft pity and got 2 kazuhas in one 10 pull.

Well I didn't get 2 Kazuha in single 10 pull but got it back to back. He came in 53 pulls and then again in next 10 pull. Now thinking if I should go for c2

I prefer Sacrifical Sword on him personally. With multiple enemies grouped together it's easier to trigger the effect even at low refinements, and it's practically speaking like getting his C1 for free. I''d rather save those primos with Sumeru being next patch (Nilou is about to ruin my finances).

@@RindouHasRan yeah, basically. His c1 allows him to use his elemental skill with no cool down after his burst is activated. Use it like this: elemental skill - burst - elemental skill(with no cd)
If u have his c1, u should OF COURSE use favonius, cuz sacrificial would just be dps waste

Fav sword is super good but hard to implement. Why?
When u build full EM, getting EM circlet/goblet is super duper hard, on top of that u want crit rate stat on that to proc fav sword

I just got his c6 (heizou) with 25k primos +6 fates and 30 pity and c2 kazu...I'm honestly shocked bc I've never saved that much before. It was hella rewarding. Good look to Kazu, Heizou, and Klee wanters!!!

@@AlvinaYunoa That literally happened on to me with Zhongli. It was the last time I wished before I started saving for kazu. Zhongli came at 87 pity and I was scraping up every primo I could find. Glad you got him tho!!!

It's really frustrating that they didn't design the cursed sword to suit his abilities. Although I understand that they did that for business reasons, this could have been solved cleverly. They could have used the cursed Sword as a skin for the freedom sworn or sacrifice 1 copy of freedom sworn to unlock the full potential.
If this were a normal video game that beautiful quest line would have made it his best in slot sword, tying closely into his kit. Instead because this is a gacha game it’s another 4 star sword with an ATK substat and passive. Missed opportunity. Real shame.
honestly, if they're going to match aesthetics with a character, it should be for that character. like they already did it for the oathsworn eye and i understand from a general use perspective, but it can be so annoying
I mean, if anything, other characters need their own weapons more than Kazuha. Just like what they did with Albedo and the Cinabbar Spindle.
They do that and they're basically killing any other niche supports that'll come out in the future, just like how bennett pretty much topples majority of every other support that came after him, ones like Yunjin, Shenhe, Gorou, and Sara.
@@hijodelsoldeoriente Agreed, but NOT weapons limited to events. Any future Albedo mains can't get cinnabar anymore. There should be a way to obtain it now, like with starglitter or smth.

I didn't know the plunge after his skill will scale from his normal attack, I thought it just activates kind of another state of his skill. Until now i had his talents 6/12/9 but that's definetly going to change, tysm ^^

I built him as both crit/elemental and he does great honestly 5k+ anemo swirl alone not including the other elements and around 15k+ plunge.

I do think talking a bit more about hybrid Kazu with EM/Anemo DMG/Crit would be good though, specially for the big majority of players who just cannot get proper EM build from that god forsaken domain, bc I've literally farmed for months and got no proper goblet OR circlet for it, so honestly I think most people (aside from whales or very lucky/old players) needs to end up going for the hybrid build.
You can use 4 star VV EM pieces too.
Is 300+ em good for kazuha?
I prefer Iron Sting overall because of that EM substat and additional atk buff on its passive especially if you have it on R5 (which I have one)…but I would only recommend this only if you have a good amount of ER. My Kazuha has 170 ER which is quite enough for me already.. but lower than that, ER swords would be much better, because a consistent rotation is way better than having big atk number with poor rotation because of the lack of energy

got him 6 pulls in and i have no idea how to build him lol thank you! ive only been playing for seven months so im still learning
I always have a hard time with not grouped enemies especially on floors 9 up. I got him and level him up and his talents are now 8/8/8. At first I was thinking maybe put him with Itto so he can group the enemies then that would waste his EM as well as Gorou buff so I placed him with Xiangling, Xingqiu and Kaeya. I was surprised with how good he is. He is my second five star after Itto and man he does wonders. Plus very easy to build as well. Though I can only run him with iron sting coz I'm using my favonius and sacrificial sword on other chars
You also forgot to add the element priority for his swirling. It goes Pyro>Hydro>Electro>Cryo

@@ho7mer No, everyone but traveller absorbs in that order, traveller absorbs cryo first for some reason. What that means is if there is multi elements nearby it always absorbs the priority element. Say there is a hydro slime and a cryo slime it will absorb hydro for example.
@@carbon1255 we all know why traveller sucks cryo first, he/she will suck the tsaritsa like there’s no tomorrow.

Literally just pulled kazuha from the banner and I am not disappointed.
Edit there is a 4 star sword that is rewarded from kazuha's story quest that looks tailored for him because it boost his plunging damage

Well I wanted both Klee and Kazuha but I got more than that luckily, got C4 Ningguang, C2 Heizou, C1 Thoma and Qiqi. Got Kazuha in my last pull so I'm satisfied. I'm f2p btw and just returned since I got bored and left in November 2020 😄

Hi! Kazuha main here, if you have 2 party members with Fav weapons, I would recommend Sac Sword as a ER crutch, or Iron Sting for the EM substat, but Freedom Sworn is broken as hell

Xiphos' Moonlight is another great weapon for Kazuha, it is a 4-star gacha option so it's not exactly f2p friendly but it strikes a really nice medium between Iron Sting and Favonius Sword
it has EM as its substat, 165 when Lvl 90, and the passive gives ER based on your EM. even at R1 you can get up to +36% ER from the passive if you have 1000EM (+0.036% ER for every point of EM.) This goes up to +72% ER at R5.
This lets you get a total of 841 EM (full EM build + Lvl 90 Weapon + 6th Ascension) without any extra EM substats or external buffs, which will make the passive give you around +30% ER at R1, +60% ER at R5. get a few alright ER and EM substats and you're golden, makes it much easier to sneak some Crit in there too

I started playing genshin this year and fortunately when I have started playing the game, Kazuha's banner was up. He's my first ever five star character that's why he has special place in my heart. I'm really glad that I wished to his banner even though I am really clueless at that time and just want to get some characters at different banners (but still mostly at Kazuha's banner because... I am amazed with Heizou's unique play style and at first I just really pull for him, and to get his constellation since I really have no expectations to get Kazuha given my non-existent luck).
Kazuha never leaves my team eversince. I just hope that I could build his artifacts decently because as of now, even tho he has 600em at lvl80, his other stats such as the er and crit are not that good (they always give me hp, hp%, def or def% substats and most of the enhancement went to those unwanted substats).
Coming back to Genshin now since Kokomis debut, how far behind will I feel? Have I missed too many limited weapons and crowns? Are the meta weapons of before considered bad or powercrept already? Just some worries from not playing for a long time

I think you'll be fine but it depends on how willing you are to craft weapons/do their quests and pull for characters and weapons. Most characters will get 3 reruns so you still have hu tao, ganyu, raiden and more coming back eventually

genshin's been really good at there being not any powercreep! i think the only significant new meta is double hydro cores, especially double hydro hutao with a flex unit (xiangling, kazuha, fischl, zhongli, etc) double hydro being yelan and xingqiu. but even those are only an addition, not power creep, and use already meta characters

I just got kazuha and i can already see i wont be looking back. I managed to get a good enogh Em VV set before i got him and had all the mats to level him up. I havent touched his talents much but the damage my ayato makes with his skill is jawdropping compared to before. Before ayato would deal around 6000 to 8000 damage per slash with hos skill. Now ive seen him push 15k -20k per slash and my ayato is in desperate need of a good artifact set and also remember i still need to level up kazuhas talents as well.

Favonius really is best option for him, he can recharge xiangling on his own with one skill, and his crit is only 29.9%
Or just use Emblem on Xiangling and stack ER, the use Bennet's particles.
@@TibbyII fav sword kazoo allows stacking atk/em/crit on xiangling and need like 2 bennett E at most, reducing downtime and increasing overall dps, because ER to dmg conversion of emblem is less dmg per substat

Got him on the first pull yesterday. 17th pull in total, now he is 975 EM, level 81 and almost 160 ER from substats. I got so lucky with him winning the 50/50 that I fear I will lose the next character I want.
I got Kazuha on his first banner and I never noticed how big his skill AoE actually is :O
EDIT: The only time I ever use Kazuha and Venti together is in the domain with the three abyss mages 🤔I use those two with Albedo and Zhongli for that domain to clear quickly. Haven't found a similar utility anywhere else
I got Kazuha shortly after starting the game, he has been on my team since i pulled him, he basically carried me to ar 50
The only way you can effectively use Favonius on Kazuha without missing a ton of EM is by having insane artifacts.

Managed to scrap some primos from hangout quests to finally get kazuha at 77 pity today. I prefarmed a lot for him, almost enough for triple crown (spent some mora on iron sting leveling-). The vv domain has not been very kind, I had only 1 EM mainstat piece until a couple days ago and the new ones have completely useless stats. I have decent glad pieces and some dps potential vv pieces so honestly I'm kinda stuck with using a dps build and was planning to do so since I have jade cutter. Still going to farm for EM pieces so I can give him a support build if needed. I'm fairly happy with my built even tho it's a 96/168 ratio lmao. He alr gets 130+ EM from substats plus his ascension so actually not too bad for a dps build :)
Okay but why couldn't the sword from his quest be an EM sword! It could have been a GREAT reward for his quest, if it just had EM sub and boosted EM from the effect instead of ATK....It's so depressing.
EM is a trap on kazuha. Video has it completely wrong. Kagotsurube Isshin is a great weapon for him, actually give it a try. Its a shame it isn't crit rate or damage, but the timing matches his skills which means a great deal. But whatever you do, don't give him an anemo damage goblet.
@@carbon1255 yeah people always say "try new builds" but I don't have the resources for that shit, I don't throw my wallet at this game, so when I get even a half decent artifact set on a character I don't change it up. and I don't buy what you are selling on the "EM is a trap" thing, EM is AMAZING on Kazuha, I full stacked EM on him and he is easily the best support I have in the game, and despite having practically no crit rate or crit damage to speak of, his skill and ult damage rivals basically all of my characters who actually are built for damage.
