- Today we’re going to take a closer look at the BEND in my Lineage Series. Based on the MK1.5 Tonebender, this fuzz straddles the line between the nasty textures and mid punch of a Bender and the Smooth sustain and beautiful cleanup of a Fuzz Face. Hope you dig it!

Rippin the tele first thing this morning, sounds awesome Mike. I like the 1.5 circuit as well, very versatile. You out did yourself with the Lineage series, it's got something for everyone. Keep'um coming, loving content and the pedals!
Thanks! I’ve got more models coming this year AND more interesting content I hope!
I’ve got a FF with 109C transistors and wonder if you could use them in a TB1.5? I’d like to hear a higher gain that still cleans up with single coils.
It would absolutely work just like when you go Si in a fuzz face. It will be 1:1 parts wise just flip the electrolytic caps polarity, and adjust the transistor bias to taste.
Very cool! I've experimented with making some TB mk2 with a switch to remove the first transistor stage/buffer thereby making the mk2 a mk1.5 but I could never get a good sound that worked with both settings and so I'd end up just keeping things set to the mk2 mode but this guy sounds fantastic!
Thanks!
There’s another difference that matters quite a bit when switching between mk2 and mk1.5, the bypass cap on the fuzz pot on mk2 is only 5uf, if you used 5uf with a mk1.5 circuit it won’t have enough gain, it needs 25uf+ for the mk1.5.
When I did a two in one like this i ended up using a 25uf and it was just a very high gain mk2! Pretty fun though.
@@SeekerElectricEffects gotcha! I wonder if that’s something I can also switch out using a 4pdt switch… might have to give it another go!
