When Ethan said that he would make sure that it’ll be him who will be the one who gets hurt, it gets me thinking that the second season will be very juicy since there had to be a stunt double for Ethan. Something might happen to him because he is protecting Kat and the rest of her friends.

On the one hand there were stunt doubles for several cast members on the first season, on the other there is the reality that Austin doesn't seem super invested in maintaining a long term role for this series and the writers know we love him. Which means if he wants to leave the only way to do it without betraying the fans would be to hurt or kill him. And somehow make it Nate's fault because I mean that just tracks.
@@pinknosebleed9932 damn this makes a lot of sense. They always have to kill off the character to end it; I do feel like something like that would happen to his character and it would be at the hands of Nate. Ethan’s death would be one that I would not get over, love him so much.
It might sound like a reach and probably won't happen but since this show is so toxic, I feel like Ethan will be the type of guy that actually ends up shooting up the school and him joking about it was actually foreshadowing it. Plus I saw somewhere behind the scenes that there's actually multiple cast members that look bruised or injured in some makeup sets. Plus at the end of the official trailer we see someone grab a gun. Like I said It's probably a reach and won't happen but I do wanna see Euphoria cover serious topics like school shootings
The answer is No. They do not fall in love. Kat thinks he's too vanilla for her. But the hero dance proves otherwise
No, Kat just doesn't understand what love is. She thinks it's supposed to be toxic, she clearly, (like the majority of the characters) has serious trauma that impedes their way of comprehending love and affection.

I was so obsessed with them, I’m upset with what they did to their relationship in the second season. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect, but wow… it’s a bummer that they spent all of last season getting together to be practically no where 3 weeks later (between the school dance and New Years). I don’t like how they painted his character in s2 after that elite bathroom scene in s1 like that’s a crime ☠️. I’m excited for Lexi’s play and to see what Ethan has there.
You know why that happened right? Because Barbie had words with either the writer/director & they cut her screen time/lines/and character arc.

@@jagyaaseni We really don’t know whose fault this is. If an actor’s being uncooperative, an actors’s being uncooperative. It seemed extremely obvious from the first season that the relationship was just not built to last as the girl’s heart was never truly in the relationship in a lasting way. Like the only time they had a somewhat intimate moment was after she just cheated on him and even then the relationship lasting in a happy way never looked in any way possible.

i really hope they get together. kat's story of hyper sexual behavior is relatable to a lot of girls. i hope they take something away from that story really other than just thinking kat is iconic or whatever cause i think its a very important story line and would love for it to end with her with a good guy

After watching 7 of the 8 episodes of season 2, I can say that Ethan is my favourite character without a doubt of Euphoria. He is just a really nice guy and a good boyfriend. He deserves someone that can love him as much as he loves others. Sadly, after what has been happening in season 2, I don't see Ethan getting a lot of screen time but who knows, maybe he can end up with Lexi

No, they showed her assuming he was flirting with the blonde at the carnival, hating him without talking/confronting him first before assuming that he would bring her as a date, just to distract her and go flirt with another girl. She let her own personal feelings of herself override her perspective and make Ethan a bad guy. She saw him talking to a skinny girl and let her emotions take it out on Ethan.

@@lg5627 It was obvious that Kat wanted a manlier man even in the first season though, or at least a different man to Ethan, with the way she would constantly neg and put down Ethan and Ethan would never really stand up to her or stick up for himself. I don’t see how anyone could look at their relationship in the first season and see it as an even remotely healthy relationship. She didn’t seem to ever really truly care about Ethan at all in the first season and it was obvious they were never going to work out.
