I was a teenager in the 70’s too and yes I over plucked my eyebrows 😳 Now I’m 61 and I have to put my eyebrows on everyday. Such a pain. Unfortunately I’m not in a position financially to have microblading. Ho hum I’ll continue to apply them daily lol
Found the pain of plucking terrible ! So I never plucked to begin with 😁. I always shaved with a tiny raser. When thick brow were in fashion or thin I could always follow because I never removed any roots. So in all my sillyness I was quite smart without realizing it ! That is why beauticians are always surprised that at 60 I still have thick full brows. But my problem has always been that I am so blonde and so ashy that nor my brows nor my lashes got any colour what to ever. There’re white ! So I tried permanent make up and my eyes were very good. But my brows always turned orange because they couldn’t use a very dark colour. I’ve had it done by several excellent women but it always came back orange although they used greyish greenish colours. So the last thing I did was have the orange removed by laser. At first it was grey and very good but once the damage was healed from the laser the were almost my natural non existing colour. But I prefer this to orange ! It has always been extremely difficult for me to find a solution because pencils are always too warm and powders didn’t stick onto my harsh hairs. Although everyone always complimented me on my brows no one ever knew what a pain in the ... they’ve always been to me. Just about a year ago I found a powder that is great. It is black. But when I brush it out enough it’s light and cool enough for me and it sticks to the hairs. So a little warning to the very VERY blonds : watch out and think before you do it. It may get orange too and that is all but flattering ! And the beauticians cannot tell you why or if you’re going to have it. Pfff what a long message 🙀
Oh boy, I feel your pain. Getting brows just right is so important, and when you find the solution (microblading, in my case) it's such a relief 😂😂. Thanks for your message xx

It is a bit expensive, but there are such good brow products these days that it is easier to create a pair :)
The solution is permanent eyebrows !
