I've never successfully used a release pin on eatans plugs, I have succeeded with Lutron dimmers. For eatons we just twist and pull and it comes out easily 9/10 times
“Someone” put it in wrong?! “Someone”?? We saw in the previous post William was the culprit and as the foreman and older brother Daniel that makes you equally responsible. Still funny
They most certainly come out. There’s a release button and if you don’t have anything small enough to do that then just twist as you pull and they will come out
as a retired guy with a electricians license, I make lots of money from these back stab receptacles and switches. They come loose sooner or later...I find the issue and replace with a higher quality device....
Doesn’t take any more or less amount of time to pull out an actual pair of wire cutters. Those tin snips might as well be zig zag scissors if you’d been cutting wire with them 😂
Get the kid a drink, calm those hands lol
Yeah that's sad to see. I'm about 3 years sober I don't miss the shakes at all.
Just wiggle it and it comes off. What kinda sparkies are you guys
Satirical ones.
Yup this simple
When he’s using tin snips instead of side cutters 😬😬😬
The trick is to use a wet rag.
But make sure to turn breaker on first so the copper doesnt rust.
I'm amazed that the backstabs are still made.
The have a release pin on the back. I prefer the screw terminal but when in a rush quick connects will work
Back stabs are the reason for fires!!

Use your lineman and wiggle it back and worth, or use hole next to the wire to release the clip.
Has a slanted hole for a flat head screwdriver to unlock those wires.

Twist back and forth as you pull. So easy I can do it with one hand and no tools. Better yet don't use the backstabs at all.

Looks like you should open up a malt shop
Shaky like puddin
Why are you backstabbing these outlets... This is such bad work
Go drink your morning beer brother. Not worth you hurting yourself or someone else.
That's not a plug.
That is not true. I've done it.
They are SCABLOCKED …..
