Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!
I currently run a number of series including:
Impression Reels - The very best impressions I can do, Including LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Cartoons .etc
Impression Challenges - Trying out new impressions in a less polished form.

Low Budget Animation - Stickman sketch remakes of Iconic Tv shows and movies.
How to do Impressions - An audience lead tutorial series where I attempt to pass on my Impressions knowledge.
Dubs - Comedic dubs of iconic scenes with new dialogue, (My Peaky Blinders and Lord of The Rings dubs have grossed over 6 million views on Facebook)

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on TH-cam videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time TH-camr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of TH-cam, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

The only thing that gets under Anakin's skin worse than sand, is underestimation of power.
I loved the way they tried to make grogu's force jumps less silly by doing quick cuts of close up shots. It still looks silly

It's like they're trying to emulate practical effects, but instead of providing flow to high effort puppeteering, it's hiding tv show quality cgi

I appreciate their dedication to practical effects, but it's ok to occasionally do a little CGI, at least in long shots.
i love the dynamic of Qui Gonn being the grandfather, Obi-Wan the father, and Anakin the edgy kid, with Qui Gonn thinking Anakin is just a ray of sunshine with Obi-Wan knowing the truth and not wanting to burst Qui's bubble

The "challenged" choosing how the challenge will be conducted in these Mandalorian sparring sessions is straight from EU and KOTOR2. I absolutely love it!

fark me, I'm pissing myself laughing with tears from that part about training the chicken foundlings, I remember thinking the exact same thoughts as I was watching the episode and he just summed up it up perfectly 🤣🤣🤣
They are called Shriek Hawks the Mandalorians ride them in battle like the Mythosaur or basilisk ..that's why they kept them so you'll probably see them again ..but I laughed an had similar thoughts as well when they came walking out of the the Gauntlet
When my wife and I were watching this episode right after the mother beast fell into the water and got eaten we looked at each other with the same thought, "Damn those babies are gonna die now because there goes mom" but then right at 10:33 we both just started laughing going " oh shit they actually went back for the babies xD and how did they get them on and fit them in the ship?" but overall was a fun episode.
Gotta love how high Anakin always looks and sounds.
I don't know how you manage to create star wars content based on the episodes better than the episodes themselves, but somehow you do. I can't wait to see Quigon, Obi-Wan and Grogu judging anakin when they react to episode 3

Fun fact, in the EU Jetpacks only had enough fuel for 1 minute of continuous flight. That's why they were mostly used for power jumps and slowing falls.
Yup. One would think the Mandalorians would be better prepared, like having some of their spacecraft on patrol or ready for takeoff. It's a good thin Bo Katan joined their crew otherwise the monster would have gotten away - again
@@maxmagnus3793ou know how it works. The more you carry, the heavier you are, therefore using even more fuel for take-off. And carrying fuel around might not be the best for combat

It doesn’t make sense though, if blasters are energy dense enough to have basically infinite ammo, jet packs would also a basically infinite fuel. I don’t buy it.
@Joshua Ashton Two different pieces of tech that work differently. Blasters used either gas cartridges or power cells to create energy shots. Gas could provide around 500 shots, power cells around 100.
EU jetpacks don't use gas, they used fuel, only a limited amount of which could fit in a jetpack tank. As of Mando season 3 even the canon ones don't have infinite fuel, though they do last longer than the EU ones.

I don't know about Anakin, but Not-Obi-Wan was almost responsible for the death of me. I never laughed so hard in my life.
I'm totally loving the Jedi becoming a Mandalorean. I think it's genius, they should really have made this and Ashoka the main focus of the story. Maybe pretend like the sequel trilogy never happened. And only continue the storyline with shows and have random side movies along the way. Japanese Anime style. Or do what the Brits did for Sharpe, they have Series with episodes as long as movies(120min) with 3-6 episodes per. It's the best way to do book adaptations but it would work with SciFi and Fantasy series like Star Wars.
