  • The hold-fast, a piece of antiquity that has lasted through the ages just to come to my humble little shop starting as shock on a BMW and then being transformed by the hammer and forge into the same thing that carpenters have been using to hold there work for hundreds of years! That was deep.

    I beleive they will hold better if there is a little more curve in the part that actually clamps the wood. That is how the look in the stores and on line. I have one that I bought at Woodcraft. It works really well.

    I tried posting a video about building a knife out of a bullet casing, and now I have a strike. It said I was dangerous activity that could put me at risk. So I can't post a vid for a week.

    You want more curve at the top and more angle. Kinda like a 7 not an L.
