Thanks! I have been putting in lots of time in slippery conditions, it is so difficult! Got some great practice at it at TTC on a lot of wheels .

I have to admit; that's the first time a fat bike looked like fun. I'm guessing it would get a bit squirrelly if you put "trials pressure" in the tires… at least on side-slopes. Nicely done.

Definitely one of the best videos I've watched on TH-cam in a while...your skills are quite impressive!

So, you're my new hero. You walk on water!!!! :) I'm 54, fat and out of shape. I bought an old trials bike to learn how to ride my enduro bike better...I now like the trials so much I'm planning on selling the big bike. My question is WHAT is a realistic goal for someone who is old and out of shape. I believe the bike will do tremendous things for me physically, but what about the riding. Clearly I'll never do anything close to what you do...but what is realistic? What level? What type of riding? Also, is there any good training vids out there? I know Ryan had some training tapes a while back but can't find a source for them. I've watched a ton of videos of his schools...watched all of yours I can find on different techniques...any other ideas? I mostly watch women/girls from over seas events as the LOWER levels for them in girls makes me think that might be possible.

Haha thank you! Good to hear you are hooked on trials! Never too late to get into it and learn a lot. It is very hard to say without seeing you ride. If you are just learning the basics of trials, I would think a local advanced level would be a good attainable goal. That class typically tests your skills without the danger that higher levels come with. Ryan's tapes are awesome and helped me out a ton. I believe he is going to be selling them personally soon. I don't know of any that others that are for sale in physical form. I have a playlist of mine here: th-cam.com/video/iE69Foe0zP4/w-d-xo.html and more will be added. There are newer ones on On The Pegs. You can learn a lot by just watching better riders and studying their technique also!
