Wild lobster stock is stable in southern California despite heavy trapping and sport catches. It, however, would be a lot better if commercial pressure would let up. More lobster may be necessary to keep sea urchins under control to bring back kelp forest. Lobsters eat small urchins. Large areas of coastal waters are called "sea urchin barrens", due to all the kelp eaten up by urchins and missing from many areas.
well obviously they will try to monopolise it as best they can but to be honest it seems pretty straightforward, i'm sure some guy has a diy lobsterfarm set up out of passion somewhere, lobsterfarming allready happens on a commercial scale as well i believe, this wil likely just increase efficiency a bit
Well done !so pleased to see ,investment ,and research into this area of lobster farms,Even if you released hundreds of eggs or juveniles into selected areas ,this would improve stocks down the line.To actually grow a lobster up to adults would a great achievement.!
The way you handle the fruit is so gentle
Have you achieve the commercial scale in production already? If yes, how many millions of the 1 inches juvenile can you produce yearly?
