They definitely messed up by giving us a bounty border full of bounties we've collected, but you can even fight any of these bosses they said you killed in a 2 year time gap. Can't even visit other planets while playing the DLC, your sister is missing and there is no mission to find her, like we haven't prioritized finding our sister before.
Complaining about the run time is why we keep getting more games with mechanics solely designed for retention rate. We should celebrate that a game released some content that doesn't overstay its welcome with grindy features but tells the story they wanted told and moves on. I'm all for shorter games and DLCs... but when reviews crucify them for being short, it's not gonna happen.

It’s not very common for triple a games to get a vr mode, or just a base game. It would be cool to play the game in vr, but we shouldn’t place an expectation on the team for it if it hasn’t been announced

Starfield you got a loading screen to land on a planet to exit your ship to open doors, that’s just all before you even do anything in the world I’d be willing to cut them some slack but the worlds are dam near empty.
