The third significant event was the rescue of Portuguese sailors during a storm at sea. In gratitude, the sailors built a chapel to honor Our Lady of Good Health.
The annual feast of Our Lady of Good Health is celebrated from August 29 to September 8, attracting millions of devotees from various parts of India and abroad. The festivities include masses, novenas, processions, and cultural events.
