In addition to the excellent suggestions on here, I'd add Twelfth Night, This Winter Machine and Ghost of the Machine.
I've seen IQ several times and they are a brilliant band.

Great reaction! I agree with Ian. Definitely need to check out “the road of bones”. Another band you should check out in this “style” is Arena. “The Bishop of Lufford” would be a great intro to them. Paul Manzi is a great singer. And one last band in this vain would be Galahad and the song “Empires Never Last.”

Oh, I forgot to mention the drummer for Arena is Mick Pointer, the original drummer from Marillion

Yeah, Galahad's Empires Never Last would be a good choice (and I was going to suggest IQ's Road of Bones, too)

IQ are one of the best bands in existence. Subterranea is absolutely amazing; better IMO that The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. But all their albums are excellent.

Enjoying your channel thanks. IQ …..Harvest of Souls and Sacred Sounds are great songs. Or The Road of Bones.
Have you tried Marillion yet? If not try Out of this World, The Invisible man or The Space. Live versions every time.
If you want to get really risky Hallsands by Kaprekars Constant is a real tear jerker and fabulous prog rock. Trust us veterans we know what we are talking about!

Welcome to the IQ rabbit hole...not much in the catalogue I don't recommend... but Harvest of Souls is definitely a good place to go next.
Also, disc two of Resistance (their latest) is incredible... their answer to Yes's "Tales of topographic Ocean"

I'd also recommend Pendragon (The Masquerade Overture is the best, but lots of others are excellent) Pallas (The Dreams of Men and The Cross and the Crucible are brilliant) and Arena (The Visitor and Contagion are phenomenal, but there's nothing less than good in their discography).

I wouldn’t class IQ as modern. They keep getting better but have kept a signature sound throughout and stuck to their roots. Great band!

If you're one of the few people on the planet that has not heard Steven Wilson's solo stuff, here are three recommendations: Luminol//Home Invasion(with Regret #9)//Drive Home

Other Great IQ songs to react to are: "Ryker Skies", "Stronger Than Friction", "Road of Bones" and "Shallow Bay" - they're a talented band!

Checkout Harvest of Souls by IQ.
Vocalist Peter Nichols quit the band for a few years and was replaced by Paul Menel.
Menel era IQ is a little bit Pop oriented but very good.
Recommend Falling Apart at the Seems from that era.
Also recommend the band Wobbler. If you like YES you'll dig them.
    Thanks for checking out IQ!
