Something I recently read was that Amanda Staveley's reason for her departure was to spend more time with her family, which is fair enough. During the COVID-19 pandemic it has made us realise that life is short and family is very important. What she's done for the club has been nothing short of excellent.

Nit quite. Her assets would have been liquidated only if she was made bankrupt. This was clearly a huge concern and it’s my opinion payed a large part in parting ways with the club. It would seem that she has now avoided bankruptcy

I completely agree with you on this one. I have been ridiculed on some sites because I claimed they have been pushed out. I still stand by that. Interesting she mentioned friction with other board members. Would that be PIF or those that have just arrived? As for recruitment, I sense a deadlock. There is something going on between Howe and the club. He, Howe wants to keep his favourites who also happen to be the ones the board want out. So I am not hopeful of any new faces arriving yet.

Eddie, you're absolutely spot on. I took the same stick on our channel. I literally had to let Chris read the EVENTUAL club and her own statements. I couldn't do it without filling up. She WOULD have been there for ever. She gave us our club back. I think she was effectively sacked because the PIF hierarchy didn't realise that she had overseen and FFP/PSR deficit which they were unaware of. Great to have a fellow believer.
Cheers mate: I do believe the PSR debacle was one reason from two or three. Her ongoing court battles and potential bankruptcy was another. Two court judges now have slated her integrity. She was amazing for us, but clearly has baggage. Thanks again 👊🏻👍🏻

A very good update, Eddie, on an important subject - the departure of Amanda Staveley. Perhaps, eventually, she'll give an interview where she can reveal more about her departure. Certainly she occupies a unique position in the hearts of supporters after transforming the fortunes of NUFC from the dark ages under Mike Ashley. Keep reporting on the club and try not to be put off by a few loudmouths - they exist in all football fanbases. Also keep doing your regional videos - they are very interesting and informative.

We now also have a performance director too. There are also other commercial executives. Im unaware of anyone who is unthankful of her contribution and presence at the club. She was amazing for us. As a PLC however, the full facts and reasons behind her departure are however open to public interest and scrutiny, even if her other business interests have compromised her position. This right shouldn’t be stifled.
I have to be honest Eddie, I thought the reason she left was because of her health, I was wrong. However if her relationship with the board is still good, there’s nothing stopping them offering her an ambassadorial role at the club and/or an honorary directorship.

They create their own narrative. Your videos show a true representation of the North East. Whether it be football or visiting places. From the very start and in every interview, Staveley talked about her role in the long term commitment to the club And now in a recent interview she responds to claims that there was an exit plan as “absolute rubbish”. If Amanda Staveley came out of passing back the remaining 6% shares with some profit (unlikely), she’ll have needed most of that to settle up her recent court loss. Being a fan from another club would explain your misunderstanding of this, but if you’re a Newcastle fan, you are seriously ignorant to our clubs affairs on many levels and on the wrong channel. There are a couple of other channels out there who will spiel nonsense that you would probably prefer 👍🏻

With players and agents fully aware of this exploiting this to the full..............sadly.

Eddie, you're absolutely spot on. I took the same stick on our channel. I literally had to let Chris read the EVENTUAL club and her own statements. I couldn't do it without filling up. She WOULD have been there for ever. She gave us our club back. I think she was effectively sacked because the PIF hierarchy didn't realise that she had overseen and FFP/PSR deficit which they were unaware of. Great to have a fellow believer.
Cheers mate: I do believe the PSR debacle was one reason from two or three. Her ongoing court battles and potential bankruptcy was another. Two court judges now have slated her integrity.
She was amazing for us, but clearly has baggage.

A very good update, Eddie, on an important subject - the departure of Amanda Staveley. Perhaps, eventually, she'll give an interview where she can reveal more about her departure. Certainly she occupies a unique position in the hearts of supporters after transforming the fortunes of NUFC from the dark ages under Mike Ashley. Keep reporting on the club and try not to be put off by a few loudmouths - they exist in all football fanbases. Also keep doing your regional videos - they are very interesting and informative.

If the PIF would’ve had their way. They would’ve sacked everybody after the shenanigans with the PSR issues.
It’s my view that the PSR overspending and necessity to sell two future talents has been down to Amanda, which (in part) has led to her leaving the club.

Ahh now I’d fiercely dispute that and if you watched Eddies interview in Germany, he wasn’t impressed at all with our PSR indiscretions and selling Elliott Anderson. No, Eddie Howe has a large say in who comes in, but has no say on how the club is run and balancing the books.

Eddie Howe manages first team squad affairs, has a big say in incoming players, but the running of the club, budgeting, strategic growth etc is down to (was Amanda), + Darren Eales and the sporting director. We now also have a performance director too. There are also other commercial executives.
We’re not stuck in the 1980’s when the manager dictated everything 😅

No one's bigger than the club, people come, people go. Amanda came & did a fantastic job, her impact on the club has been positive, progressing the club. Her private life & business is her's, we should all be thanking her & appreciating what she has done for us wether she was here for a week or a decade should matter not. Thank you Amanda!
Im unaware of anyone who is unthankful of her contribution and presence at the club. She was amazing for us.
As a PLC however, the full facts and reasons behind her departure are however open to public interest and scrutiny, even if her other business interests have compromised her position. This right shouldn’t be stifled.
I have to be honest Eddie, I thought the reason she left was because of her health, I was wrong. However if her relationship with the board is still good, there’s nothing stopping them offering her an ambassadorial role at the club and/or an honorary directorship.
She said she needed to keep working because of her health, not as a reason why she left.

She borrowed £10m from Mike Ashley to help her with costs and legal fees to buy the club.
Jamie Reuben funded her 10% share in the club (around £30m)
She’s taken out two loans from the club to a total of £1.2m
She’s lost two high profile court cases in 9 months, including being forced to paying Mike Ashley back and passing on 4% of her shares back to Jamie Reuben.
From the very start and in every interview, Staveley talked about her role in the long term commitment to the club
And now in a recent interview she responds to claims that there was an exit plan as “absolute rubbish”.
If Amanda Staveley came out of passing back the remaining 6% shares with some profit (unlikely), she’ll have needed most of that to settle up her recent court loss.
Being a fan from another club would explain your misunderstanding of this, but if you’re a Newcastle fan, you are seriously ignorant to our clubs affairs on many levels and on the wrong channel.
There are a couple of other channels out there who will spiel nonsense that you would probably prefer 👍🏻

For what its worth I believe Darren Eales is a hardened businessman focussed on creating every penny of turnover for the benefit of NUFC - which will create clashes and casualties along the way! - in contrast Amanda Staveley's very hands on warm, touchie feely approach creating a lovely family club is at the opposite end of Eales approach - and in reality doesn't really exist at most or any top level clubs - its a human meat market where the highest bidder wins 99.9% of the time. With players and agents fully aware of this exploiting this to the full..............sadly.
Great content as always from you Eddie . Its a shame looking at this from this view and you have never 100% used clickbait and you are genuine and honest in whatever you have produced over the years. That brings things to show some people at the club appear upset / jealous etc with how Amanda has been possibly seen as a saviour to many fans.
