good job mate!!! I remember at tafe they couldn't teach the students how to do a mitre core properly,,,, thanks a lot or the advice man.. Keep up the good work brother!!!!!
Look it’s not ideal but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. He could have opened up an had massive perps which look horrible or he could have done 2 cuts and hid it in the sill. Maybe hide the cuts every 6 bricks or so and won’t even notice it but preferably I rather have 2 cuts and hid them even 3 then it’s only a couple mill off a few bricks hopefully that Answers your question I’ve only been doing bricklaying about 5 years

Good idea putting the brick on top, never thought of that. I let em dry up a bit too before I fuck around with them
They are painful to do sometimes. It’s weird mate sometimes they do what you want and you can get them to sit straight away. Other times not so much
@@hendosbricklaying2003 yeah they are awkward. They’re not too common anymore.

that second brick from the AJ at 4:35 . Are you allowed to get away with sill cuts? (10month in my apprenticeship and curious)

Would have definitely been better to create two cuts Instead of one and hide it in both ends of the sill
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Never seen that way of doing the mitre laying them together before laying them on the sill….I’ll pinch that little trick of ya cheers Hendo
That’s how you get em to work properly mate haha
Your still smearing then. What a mess
@@althetrowel if you find a way to smear on a mitre there’s something wrong with you 😂
