My father passed away suddenly in 2023. He couldn't do Hajj and I plan to go for hajj with my mother and do his Hajj e badl next year insha Allah. I have two kids under 5 and it nearly seems impossible for now but I have put my utmost trust in Allah swt and made my niyah. May Allah swt make it easy for everyone who plans to go for Hajj iA.

I want to cry for Hajj because I'm in a country that it's currency is worst in the world, a country name Iran which making Hajj for someone like me near impossible, but still I have hope in Allah that someday I can go to Hajj, make dua o believers,

Put your trust in Allah, nothing is impossible with him. I never in my wildest dream ever thought I could go to hajj and many Umrahs afterward, but alhamdulillah I have been multiple times. Allahu akbar!!!

Never lose hope brother 🙏. INDEED you will go for Hajj only if you have faith in your Rab and keep praying. I had never thought that i will be able to go for Hajj because of health, financial issues etc but I never gave up. I would yean for always and kept speaking to Allah Almighty whenever I would be by myself.. And here I am in 2024 with my whole family performing Hajj and Umra. Please pray for us so that Allah Almighty accepts our prayers and thanks for everything in our lives.
I have never seen Yasir Qadhi this emotional may Allah love him and all those Muslims!

Yes agreed Hajj is about the Spiritual aspect however because Islamic scholars and Masjids talk about Fiqh, Fiqh, Fiqh and Aqeedah then what do you expect from the majority of Muslims ? The Imams and Scholars only talk Fiqh in Jummah and Hajj workshops so pretty please discuss with the Scholars and Imams that Fiqh should not be discussed in such detail with the masses or they will miss all the glory of the spiritual aspect. I can only pinpoint a few Muslim Scholars who focus on thought and not Fiqh
May Allah accept your Hajj and May Allah allow every person who intend to perform Hajj in future .Aameen.

Alhamdulillah Allah Ta’ala invited us this year to be His guests. I am so so grateful, the day of Arafat was the best and although I stayed in the tent until 5pm because of the hot weather, I came out and sat near a tree for the last 2 hours to make my personal duas. Feeling so blessed
May Allah Ta’ala give this opportunity to anyone who is truly waiting for that day, begging for Allah from the bottom of their hearts. May Allah Ta’ala invite you next my brothers and sisters.

I was there this year, may Allah accept it from us. My very first Hajj was 23 years ago, where Sh Yasir was the guide along with Sh Tawfique Chowdhury it was amazing and the reminders they gave, I still remember.

My deceased parents had done hajj with my younger bro's family, in my opinion, they were privileged to have a righteous son who guided them through those ordeals of hajj with patience & ease, subhanallah. By watching videos of hajj 2024, l was constantly remembering them & making duas fr all hujjajs of this season to be safe & healthy.

Assalamo alaikom warahmatullahi to all Muslim brothers and sisters. Alhamdulillah, every hajji and hajja are very grateful to Allah SWT for the great honor given of being invited to the Holy House of Allah Azzawajal. So lucky to have been present in the gathering that YQ gave that talk to in Makkah. It was so emotional for all of us present that day especially knowing how much YQ wanted to go back to hajj but was denied severally by you know who until this year. Alhamdullillah. This talk was the night before Arafat and helped recenter all of us and remind us of what a loving God we have. Thanks a lot YQ.

A day without being connected to Shaykh Yasir Qadhi seems like forever .... May Allah swt look at your heart and not only accept your Hajj and Duas but may you be the waseela for Every hujjaj to be forgiven and attain Al Hajjul Mabrur. May Allah Swt accept all of the Hajis Duas and ours too as we long and wonder if Hajj is a possibility for us. Nevertheless, we make a Niyyah for performing the Hajj in the near future. May Allah swt accept the many2 Hajis who lost their lives this year and send them to Jannatul Firdaus with all their sins forgiven. Ameen.

He and I wish to go to perform Hajj soon InshaAllah, through your institute If you could reply me that would be great. He and I was watching news about 1300+ people died who went to perform hajj this year. Because of some illegal Egyptian agencies unethical activities. We believe it was their time to go back to Allah SWT. But still we want to go with some renowned organization . Thanks.

I had done hajj twelve years ago along with my husband, Alhamdulillah.. every hajj season comes, I really miss the wonderful time we spent in the holy land, and really wish to go there again to experience the whole thing again.
This talk really opens my understanding of doing hajj, which is to transform ourselves. All these time I read the verses of hajj, never link it to the following 2 ayat after them, which are Al Baqarah ayat 207 and 208 as explained clearly by the Sheikh. May Allah reward him immensely.. May Alalh accept all of our ibadat in these sacred months, aamiin

May He invite all his servants to His meeting in those holy places. Aaaaaaaaamin summa amin.
Muslim Population: around 1.8 billion people.
Life Expectancy: The average life expectancy globally is roughly 72.8 years [Source: World Bank].
Hajj Frequency: Hajj occurs annually.
With these assumptions, we can perform the following calculation:
Pilgrims per Hajj = Total Muslim Population / Life Expectancy
Pilgrims per Hajj = 1.8 billion people / 72.8 years ≈ 24.7 million people/year.
Mecca can only facilitate 2 million people/year.
May Allah invite us all to His House. Ameen ya Allah.

Hajj is so dear to my heart but hajj fare in Nigeria is sooo expensive!! Except Allah decrees that an middle class or poor person is going to hajj in this life time, there is hardly anyway it can happen.

Qadhi sahb you’re such a learned person mashaAllah I expect from u to donate that money instead of doing piles of hajj on top of one another when there’s so much anarchy and bloodshed around us.
It’s up to him what he pleases to do with his money as long as he is donating in line with the shariah I.e zakats… and I believe this is his first hajj he has done a lot of umrah’s may AlLah accept his prayers (Ameen)
He went as a guide and guides naturally go many times I don’t want a guide who has never been.

Dr Yasir Qadhi, can you please do a talk on tasawwuf and muraqba specifically as I frequently get dreams telling me to do muraqba (Islamic meditation) to draw close to Allah swt but i don't understand how to do this. From my little research i understand the Prophet pbuh used to do muraqba in Cave Hira when he received revelation. Please could you shed more light on this. I grew up in my early years, exposed to salafi Islam but have over time realised and discovered tassawuf/sufism in my later years. There is not much awareness of this in London so i am looking for someone who can help and guide on this. Thankyou.
