Hi, do you have a video showing the best settings for crisp 4k video rendering on movie studio 2023 platinum on high end pc's for youtube? Thank you in advance for pointing me in the right direction.
Hi. No, but I would just use the default export settings. Make sure that your project is set up for 4K, then when you go to File, Export, Export as MPEG-4, you'll get the default for your project. If you click on Display all and open the drop down, you'll see all presets. If you click on Advanced for the one that you select, you can change some parameters. If you want more input, I suggest that you raise this on the Magix.info forum. In any event, YT is going to recompile your video.
Thanx a lot JCBrown. I was looking for this ! Had a hard time trying to do simple fake "traveling camera", using keyframes... with 'Section'. Didn't work. Now I know why. And now I know how to do the same effect with "Size/Position/Rotation". Very usefull tips in this tutorial. Thanx again. I'll be watching the next one on Camera/Zoom effect.
Hi Daniel, I have had some health issues and have gotten behind in finishing my tutorials. I have 3 tutorials to go before the one on Camera/Zoom shot, but I'm getting there. Stay tuned.
Hi. Did you watch Parts 3 amd 4 of this series for SPR. As for highlighted area, that could be done using a mask and I have a tutorial about this (Tutorial 32) - you would have to increase the brightness/contrast instead of making a blur, and then limit the exposed area using a mask, or do the same but use the Cookie Cutter effect. Or, use a third party effect like New Blue Spotlight.
Hi, Sorry, I haven't gotten there yet. I've been stalled doing another tutorial that is tough to explain. I'm getting there. If you post in the Magix.info forum, you'll find that we have covered this several times, and one of the users can guide you along. A couple of us have given fairly detailed descriptions, we just have to find them.
So glad i have found this channel, love your work! but I am wondering if you could help me with a problem im having with Magix recently and if you have come across anything like this. I recently downloaded the new 2023 movie studio and have been having an issue i never had with previous versions of magix software. The proxy files dont seem to be automatically loading, when i import into the timeline itll say " proxy editing was skipped, not needed for the source file".... so.... 2 things.. 1. I can bypass this sometimes by turning of the option in program settings, importing 4k footage on timeline, then turning auto proxies back on, where SOMETIMES it will convert imported footage on timeline to the proxy versions, making it easy to work with (scrub & not buffer or crash) 2. Im just wondering if this is a bug in the program as i have never had this problem before in previous versions until 2023 movie studio. Proxy used to just be created on import Automatically and convert all clips. Ive been a user of Magix since 2016 and loved it up to this point, without proxies its pretty impossible to have a smooth, enjoyable experience while editing and I am hoping someone has another tip as to why this would be happening, instead of me trying to go round the houses with a fix that sometimes works... Any suggestions/help appreciated!!! :) Thankyou youtube community :)
Hi, I suggest that you take this up on the Magix.info forum. Problems with proxies were discussed there recently. Here is a link to one of them: www.magix.info/us/forum/proxy-files-problem-creation-of-a-proxy-not-required--1313177/#ca1841764
Do you know if it is possible to import the DJI conversion LUT for Osmo Pocket 3 (from D Log M to 709) into Movie Studio 2025? If so, would you be willing to do a tutorial on how to do it, please?
Hi, yes, just download it, put it where you want on your hard disk, preferably somewhere where you keep other LUTs, and then load it on a video clip by using the Media Pool, Import, and navigating to the folder containing the LUT. No need for a tutorial.
Hi, Size, Position, Rotation does just that and only that. For borders, you have to use other tools like Cookie Cutter or overlays. There are borders under Templates, Image objects or you can make your own.
Just what I needed! Magix tutorials do not come even close to this necessary detail. Thank you.
You're very welcome!

These videos are great. Do you have a video on adding an highlighted area or callouts (like your circles in this video)?

Thank you so much. This is a bit different than DaVinci Resolve. Stay safe...captjack...
You're welcome! There is more to come.
