Honestly you don't know how much this video meant to me. I just had the wooooorst day ever and was over everything and couldn't wait to go come and curl up under the covers. i just sat here looking like, wow ... amalah is really growing up and she's such a mature toddler. ok, getting her hair done wasn't her favorite activity at the moment, but she still sat like a big girl. our little baby is really a full fledged toddler now. sniff sniff. oh yeah, shout out to leah. heyyyyyyy, girl! so good to see you, beautiful as always.

This was a pleasant surprise! A Vlog on a Tuesday at that lol. My oldest daughter to this day still doesn't really like getting her hair combed/brushed (because it's a lot of it). But she still would rather her mother do it over anyone else. Definitely glad to hear the meeting went well, and of course we want to see more of these haha. Some may disagree with this, but I would say upload them at random like you did this one. It's already bad enough how people are fiends when it comes to Amalah's cuteness on Wednesdays. If you tell them what days you will upload vlogs....I fear what may happen if you miss that day lol. Enjoy the rest of your day!
+DeacSpeaks yep, STILL COUNTS AS MY WED VIDEO THOUGH! Haha. I can get away with brushing her hair, but she's not a fan of the comb. I remember we talked about the idea of a once a month extended video vlog last year, so I decided to try it out. As long as folks know this doesn't = MORE videos (for now), I think I'm ok with them only expecting this once a month. Daily vlogs...I just...no.
***** I'm in the same boat with the vlogs. I'm going to shoot for at least two a month OR if any major events happen (like a holiday or a play). My biggest challenge will be getting my wife to record a few things without me being around. But she already said "'Don't try to get me to be in all of your videos. Even though they are more entertaining with me in them". My wife is a trip, but I love her unconditionally lol.
Hahaha, she's funny! I like the banter between you two. I'm still baffled by family's with massive followings around their vlogs, but I know it's all about the connection. I could sit and watch you and your family cause I feel like I know y'all. I know I'll enjoy whatever you end up doing.

She sounds like one, right? These vlogs are meant to be the unplugged, behind the scenes peak at our lives. All of us as we are. This would never be a replacement for the main videos though.
I'll always keep the translations and fancy edits in the other videos. That's why I'm testing this out to see if you and others would be interested in behind the scenes peaks, probably once a month.

Even with a diversion from your typical editing, it was still fresh, stylized, and completely unlike any of the typical, bigger family vlogs, the ones that seem to drag on into the next lifetime. I really like your thoughts on the vlog. I thought it could be cool to have a once a month behind the scenes look at our lives. I'm not a huge vlogging fan for the same reasons you pointed out, so I'm glad we could do it in our own way.
