    Love the videos Lenny. You have a sincere straightforward communication style. On the edge of my seat waiting for more content! Do you have an idea of when you plan on putting out new videos?

      Glad to hear and thank you! At this time, I'm not sure when and also I sorta ran out of videos to post because I spent a good amount of time on the topics/content that is already out which gets most people by really nicely. If you have any video suggestions I'm all ears.

      SimonSaysResell - would love to see a video where you walk through your logic on whether or not to purchase a book. I purchased a large lot of books and as I'm going through them with FBASCAN I'm finding myself spending what seems to be too long determining whether or not to send them in.

    Can I use my bluetooth laser scanner connected to my phone to scan Items with the Ebay scanning app

  • @jenniferbuda8014
    @jenniferbuda8014 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    If you use a scanner like this, would you just open up the Seller app and it would automatically recognize that you're using a scanner (instead of the camera)? Or do you have to use a third party app? Or, as you mentioned being an FBA seller, would you have to be doing FBA to have access to datebase/scanner options? Please and thanks!

      I have tried and tried with my Galaxy S8+ and no... I can't get the seller app to recognize it. FBA Scan will.

    What do you do when there is no UPC barcode to scan. Do you use the Amazon Seller App to do a page recognition, or do you type in the ISBN and/or title?

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I first look in the book after the title page for the ISBN. Most of the time I find it. Otherwise, I type in the title of the book within FBAScan or Amazon Seller Central app or even scan the cover with the Amazon app.

    I have a question I just found a book called accounting information systems and there are only 2 books avalible for sale, and both of them are for 499.99 how do I know if it's a good book. thank you for your time.

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      What is the sales rank? Also, $499.99 seems pretty high for a book. If you don't mind sharing the ISBN I'll take a closer look.

    Great video! Do you pay your sourcers when they deliver the books to you or do you wait until they are all listed? Also,do your sourcers sort the books by condition or does your lister do this? Thanks Lenny!

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great questions! I pay the sourcers when they deliver the books. The lister will sort the books by condition when they list, or I will if I'm listing.

    Hey Simon, great video as always I have post notifications on for you. One question, me and my girlfriend just purchased FBA Scan. We want to both use it but only paid for one subscription, is there a way for both of us to use it? And I remember in your other video about hiring other people you said you give then fba scan. Do you let them use yours and then you can't use it while they do? Or do you buy a subscription for them? Would mean a lot if you could back to me. Thanks!

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks and great question. FBAScan is pretty strict on their licensing so you won't be able to share a license across more than one phone. So if you and your gf are looking to scan with FBAScan you will both have to purchase a license. For example, when I hire book scouters I buy the lite plan for EACH book scouter of FBAScan which has unlimited live scans and install it on each of their phones. I have my own subscription of FBAScan for my phone.

    • @speedyboi09
      @speedyboi09 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      SimonSaysResell Ok we'll probably have to pay for two subscriptions or find a cheaper solution. Thanks for the quick answer!

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Welcome, yeah you will have to pay for 2 if you want it on each phone unfortunately. Now, the $10/mo cost can easily be covered if you are able to bring in some profitable books a month. For example, if you were able to get 10 books each where the net profit is $1 you broke even. Now a net profit of a $1 probably is way too low for some business models but just to give you an example. You can prob get 10 books on 1 haul say a goodwill or something.

    • @speedyboi09
      @speedyboi09 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SimonSaysResell Yeah this is true, I've been doing this for a month with just my phone and its been going well it's just definitely time to upgrade. I'll look at all my options. Thanks

    Hey Simon.. quick question. I am about to do my first retail Arbitrage's first shipment. I have mostly books and some toys. Is it OK to put books and toys in same box it has to be separate boxes ? Also do they expect toys(big ones) wrapped in polybags ? Thanks for your help as always.

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. You can mix books and toys however if any of the items are fragile or need protections during shipment then I'd polybag them or wrap them up. They don't expect everything to be individually wrapped but check out Amazon's packaging guidelines if you do decide to wrap.

    Hi! thanks for the videos:). Question: I scanned a book but 7 listings came up! which do you list under? why do the sellers create separate lisitings? Confusing:(. Can you do a video on this? thanks much!

    • @simonsaysresell9808
      @simonsaysresell9808  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd read the listing carefully. Sometimes there are multiples because one is a Digital book (ebook) but if you see multiple listing of the same exact item with different sales ranks. Look at the # of offers plus the sales rank. Less offers and low sales rank is usually best.

    you are aware of copy right, right? you can't scan books and make profit of them without the companies' permissions
