It looks really good actually. I wouldn’t say that it’s one of your best, but it’s definitely good. I can tell how much time, and effort you put into the painting!
Yep, the blending of these old paint really aren't great and quite patchy but since you used similar toned colors, it looked good, giving off that pop art vibe. And you're already good at proportions so it looked like her facial structure albeit some parts that felt patchy because of the non-blending shadows but it's really fine for the most part.

Aww thx so much!!❤️❤️🥰 i personally like the faber castell polychromos! They’re pricey but maybe start with a smaller package of the basic colours! Because you can layer them well and achieve other colours with it! ☺️or buy the portrait colour package!

not quite. artist eyes are different. they’re trained to see things that some can’t. knowing what looks “wrong” to them is a good thing; it helps them improve. this is an artists’ mentality, it’s unlikely that they’re trying to bait the audience. please be respectful.

I used to do this habit too, but once I saw the people around me kept on complimenting it afterwards I started to think they're decent. But her on the other hand wouldn't post these if she didn't think they're decent. Just look at the other comments...
Jesus christ. She gets praised all day; she doesn't need to go fishing for compliments. Any artist who paints can tell you what's wrong with this painting, it's patchy and has clumpy lines. It still probably looks better than anything you can pull off but that doesn't mean you should be shitty about it.
