Song - an instrumental, duo rendition of the 1940 standard "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" with lyrics by Johnny Burke and music composed by Jimmy Van Heusen.
Pete is an endorser for American Archtop guitars (Nazareth, PA)
Larry & I were scheduled to perform one evening back in 2016 and were planning to drive together to the venue. As a last minute whim, I suggested that if Larry could come over a bit early, we could record some tracks. He agreed & we recorded a single take of about 8 songs. This is one of them.
Larry & I recorded a number of times through the years. The first time was in the summer of 2000 on a CD titled Pete Smyser & Larry McKenna. A CD-R is available through Amazon: www.amazon.com...

What a great performance! I just discovered probably a year ago sax&guitar duo. That sound what Larry produced is fantastic. The guitarist comps and solos is great as well. I heard Larry just passed ,unfortunately never had a chance to listen him live.
