Hmm, return8ng to some of these older vids. Really wanting a 4 stroke 250. I gotta say, the majority of the time in beginning (up to the slip up on ktm) you were definitely ahead on the Yamaha and more smooth.
Big question is: if both bikes can do the same thing, and arguably the Yamaha's better gearing preventing stalls..... how much more are you paying for the KTM than the Yamaha? also, the question of longevity. Yamaha is really making some good, reliable, long lasting four strokes these days.
I always feel like my 1988 dually is flying down the highway faster than I am actually going. Noise, vibration or mental discomfort can all lead to perceptions that may not be accurate. I usually find helmet cams dull to watch but I watched a Graham Jarvis POV the other day and I noticed something I think is important. His camera was ROCK STEADY as it was bolted to a wall. There he was ripping of trails and bashing thru the technical sections and his never seemed to move. Going fast means be able to look ahead and actually SEE and evaluate the trail and set yourself up with the right line. As a part of these comparison videos it might be interesting to evaluate how steady your head is on one bike versus the other. I think it might also prove useful in evaluating your riding and make improvements. You ride really nice arrows. Helmet cam footage might help improve the Indian ;)
Good point at the end there, power isn't as big a deal anymore with the new technology bikes have now days, in fact I think to much power on technical shit is a hindrance....to much power equals not enough traction sometimes!
Thanks for making, and doing and awesome job on these videos! These are the most useful reviews I can find and pretty much the best comparison you could get
In your video riding the same trail on your 300 you reached a personal best of 4:52 but you had previously only had a time of 5:17. Seeing the times for the 250's being so close to your results of the 300 on the same trail, shows your speed is very consistent regardless of the bike. I would suggest you try the same trail again on a 150xc or 200xcw. You may be surprised by the result, I think the time would likely end up at about the same 5:10-5:20 range.
I am the same. I bleed orange but am thinking about switching up. I went sherco 300 but hate it. The clutch on the yz is a hindrance. What did you end up doing?
I like your side by side comparisons. It’s easy to see the different characteristics of the bikes, in the different types of terrain you ride. 👍 I think I’d prefer the lower gearing of the YZ in this case, but I am an ogre so both would probably handle lighter and better than my current bike...
both bikes are great but you definitely lean KTM in your views. The simple fact is the KTM DID NOT perform as well on the trail when being ridden by the same rider. You try and make excuses to even them out in the end. You have very good, informative videos, i just wish you didn't lean so hard KTM while trying to put on a neutral face. Great work
Try adding a Scott's steering damper. It helps with rocks or bikes with twitching steering. Arrived at the same time, but did you feel less worn with one bike? Same tires? Nice comparison.
Awesome, I love the side by side view. Last year I was tossing up between the WR250F (the Aussie spec is very similar to your YZ250FX) and the 300EXC (same as the XCW I think). I ended up with the WR250F because yamaha; it's my 3rd WR but I still have a bit of 2 stroke KTM remorse. I'd love to request a side by side with the 300 :)
These side by side videos are cool! Interesting though, compared to your other videos of these two bikes, the Yamaha looked a bit more at home on this trail. It was hard to hear, but there was a more consistent 'on throttle' sound and by observation, looked a bit more compliant to your input. The KTM looked a bit stubborn but got its manners at the end, after you had a few step offs, and put the throttle on a little more- then it covered the ground in a hurry! I would say that so far, your reviews of these two bikes have been consistent. Fantastic job! Keep it up!
Where is this? I am in on both feet! Even if it's just my mountain bike! (GOOD MTB's cost as much as these bikes to and in some instances more... KRAZY STUFF)
I went from the yz250f to the ktm xcf250 and I can’t believe anyone would think these two bikes are even close. The KTM is better in every aspect. If I had to pick the biggest difference it would be handling especially how much better the KTM corners.
I really enjoy this channel it's wicked where this guy rides and the bikes that are used. Some wick info on here, keep up the great effort l... Found my self riding a Ktm 250 2 stroke loved it excellent bike. And love my yz450f but shit almost considered trading it in for one...
I’ve been stuck between these 2 bikes for a few months for my 2020 riding season. What it came down to was the ability to get a tag for the bike and keep it from being pulled in GA. What some people fail to realize is you can get a tag though dirtlegal or similar services, but the tag can be pulled at any time by the state when someone notices the title reads “off-road vehicle”. KTM’s title reads “motorcycle” regardless of the bike being shipped as street legal & it’s up to the dealer you (or the person before you) to keep motorcycle on the title. I say this because we already have 300 exe that is tagged and has been for well over a year and another friend, using the same service, had his DRZ E’s tag pulled after 2 weeks. I recently spoke to the owner of a 2018 YZ 450FX that was plated and converted to a Sumo, same thing. This part was the deal breaker for me because I wanted the Yamaha. I go trail to trail & ride dirt roads a lot so putting the money into a Baja kit & plating the bike would be worth it for me. Some people do get lucky and never have a problem, but I’m not one of them.
I totally agree. I'm a big guy. I had a 09 kx250 , put a 54 tooth sprocket on the rear and I raced some hare scrambles with it. I was weighing about 280LBS and the 250 took me anywhere I wanted to go.
Jakelols Gaming 2009 kx250f. I think Kawi stopped making 2 strokes in 03 maybe. Anyway, yes it was a four stroke. Motocross bike but it worked well in the woods. The only think I didn't like about it was the engine braking. It would have been great with a slipper clutch. Also the valves needed adjusting right from the factory. I took it to the dealer I bought it from and paid them $75 to adjust the valves. It still wouldn't start easily. so I finally learned how to do it myself. After it had the correct size shims it would start first kick. Was a great bike.
Deciding between both of these bikes in 2021. Have rode Ktm all my life and don’t know which one to buy yet. Is there any changes in your opinion with the newer bikes?
Awesome video man. I live in the Appalachian mountains and ride on my farm a lot, there's some fairly steep Hhills and they never look that bad on the gopro which is a shame. I can tell that's a pretty good trail you hit up there, good riding. looking at these two bikes so far on your channel (and me being a serious rookie at 26 lol) I'd have to say the yamaha gets a slight nod for the gearing. love ktm though, next year hopefully I'll jump from my yz125 to one off the 250 or 300 2t's from them or a gasgas. thanks for the videos man!
+R.J Jetskivids You should know that the year mean nothing! (Unless it's from the 80s) It's all about the rider. By the way, I race a KTM 450sx 2006, great bike! It's even better to see the face expression of those person on brand new efi bikes that finish behind me.
Debating whether to trade my '03 wr250f for an fx or a new wr ... Is the fx power more noticeable than the wr? I know you didn't compare those bikes on this video. But just wondering if you've rode both of them.
I am a KTM guy, but thought the Yamaha took the prize here. Geared better and didnt flame out or loose traction for the entire run... KTM puts some sweet components on their sleds, but most riders will never be good enough to use the last 30% of them. I'm starting to come around to RIDEABILITY = greater fun with fewer injuries, particularly at 50+ and a bum shoulder.
So, serious question here, which one hurt your back less? Ive had fusion of s1-L4, so Im curious as to which one you thought felt more comfortable in that kind of terrain.
Hey man can you do a video on the difference between the yz250f and yz250fx ( the ya the are designed differently and how they are used differently ) , I would be so grateful if you do
Great stuff! Million dollar question, 2 stroke or 4 stroke ? Or more like witch one gives the better smile.... Even though, it's been proven just in time, we all know witch one is cheaper to run...
Id say 4 strokes give a great smile in more open terrain and the 2 strokes give a smile in all terrain. I love both and if rich would own one of each. But if only one it has to be a 2 stroke.
I was leaning towards the yamaha. Now that you told me that the ktm is also less in weight, I'm thinking about getting a 2016 ktm250 xcf. Im coming off of a 2015 kx100. So weight is my biggest concern. Do you think I'm making the right choice? I mean you have both bikes and I would love to get some tips from you.
I love how much effort he puts into videos. Its honestly awesome. This channel is what turned me into wanting a 2 stroke. That and I dont wanna spend a whole lot of money doing expensive rebuilds on a 4 stroke. That Dairy Queen wage doesn't support a 19 year old kid and his expensive hobby! LMFAO
Nice side by side test, loved your edit(you channel just keeps getting better!!!) good content and editing is always NICE. Lead in from the drone, nice touch. Did you fly the drone, or program a gps flight plan? Can't wait to see more drone footage to!! I have a friend that will be selling his yz450f soon, he is true blue(so no ktm, lol), my fingers are crossed a local can let you borrow a yz250x for a review, and you can do a 250x vs a yz450fx on your test track. he is a trail and dune rider, sometimes the yz450f in techy terrain is tough. Estart will be nice too :) thanks for the video.
Hey :) I think these runs are very different :p i think it looks like you are hitting alot of rocks and stuff on the ktm and going smooth on the yamaha, so in my eyes I think you did a decent/great run on yamaha but had a "worse" run on the ktm. Maybe you were more tired when you rode the ktm? did you ride the yamaha first ? :) Might just be that i was looking at the ktm side everytime you hit a rock but i think it's a small chance for that :p
I did ride the Yami first. Some lines were better on the Yami while other lines were clearly better on the KTM. I've analyzed it in editing more than anyone :)
What are your thoughts on the yz250x? I find it interesting that you didn't opt for the 2 stroke ( in either brand) since you already have a 4 stroke 250.
I already had a 2 stroke. I had never ridden a 250 4 stroke, so we bought 2 of them to compare against each other. I'll get around to the 250x eventually.
+Opferman Motors Dirtbiking I know why top enduro riders still use 2 strokes. I wanted Kyle's specific insight as to why HE thinks HE goes faster on the 300. Thank you for your response OMD.
That trail is a nasty one for sure, I"ve only done it once going up and that was with a Rekluse and still found it challenging. Everyone knows vids don't do justice to the terrain. I've also recently had a chance to throw a leg over the 250FX and um well, I'll still with my 450 ;)
Maybe on a trail the FX would be more impressive, I tried it out on a track in stock form. That said I also tested the 450FX and 250X and I liked none of them...
Kyle, thinking buying a 2017 ktm 250 xc f, just wondering if is not too stall prone? assuming is the same as the 2016 you own, what do you think? thanks
I guess that depends on what you are used to. I really, really like the 250 XC-F. Yeah, it much easier to stall than a 2 stroke, but you can get used to it for sure.
why do the graphics look like 2017 bike.By the way I absolutely love your videos and I wish I could meet you. On Christmas I'm getting my first bike which was going to be a Ktm free ride 250r ( I am quiet a good rider 😎but have never had one of my own) anyway it was a bit to expensive because I wanted something else to but anyway do you know what bike I should get I am 14 and 820mm tall ( live in Australia ) don't know inches. But can you please reply also I am now thinking about Honda or a Yamaha so can you just give me a idea of what you think would be good for someone like me. Thanks for inspiring me to get a bike and I love your gear reviews. Bye from a moose riding a dirt bike
dumb question, but why does it look like there's way more rocks and stuff on the trail for the Yamaha? different cameras? make it pick it up better? different times of day or different day? it was just bothering me. had to know lol
Oh okay gotcha ! It's really awesome that these bikes are so closely matched , It really gives riders the choice to just pick whichever bike they feel speaks to them without really sacrificing serious performance
Good after seeing the third time video, I noticed that you're working more on KTM, more movement of arms, and less on yamaha, I think yamaha better absorbs the bad floor and is more stable and has more traction, perhaps extra weight help . KTM seems to be more bouncy and hard. hug.
Also, it appears like the footage is "shakier" on the KTM, is that maybe a reflection of the suspension being smoother on the Yami?, or just working less with body/head movements?
Zach Stevens Do you know this kid? You sound real cool. Trying to pick on a 13 year old kid huh? You must be real popular LOL. Go watch your men's hair style videos like you normally do LOL! The kid asked a normal question! geez
On my 06 Yamaha yz85 I have a problem where the bike will stall out if I put the bike into first without having the bike rolling. If my bike is standing still and I put it into first the bike will stall out immediately. So the bike needs to be rolling and then I can put it into 1st. Thank you if you know a solution to this problem!
My guess is that your bike is on the verge of stalling when it's in neutral. When you put it in gear, the wet clutch puts just a slight load on the motor which makes it stall.
the side by side video is great. Thanks for taking the time to go over both bikes. I bought the FX and don't regret it. Keep up the great videos man.
conclusion: pick the color you like the most :-)
Honestly that isn't a bad idea here.
And write a check for $700 for liking "orange"
@@boulderghost4457 true
Maybe women are onto something...
But my favorite color is orange I guess I could do a Honda red is second fav
Hmm, return8ng to some of these older vids. Really wanting a 4 stroke 250. I gotta say, the majority of the time in beginning (up to the slip up on ktm) you were definitely ahead on the Yamaha and more smooth.
Is it me or did it look like the video on the KTM was bouncing around more? Maybe meaning a rougher ride then the YZ!
KYB vs WP
Disclaimers are a great idea for those of us who don't know your trail conditions etc. GREAT videos !!!!!
Big question is: if both bikes can do the same thing, and arguably the Yamaha's better gearing preventing stalls..... how much more are you paying for the KTM than the Yamaha? also, the question of longevity. Yamaha is really making some good, reliable, long lasting four strokes these days.
I want a ktm 300 two stroke.
I always feel like my 1988 dually is flying down the highway faster than I am actually going. Noise, vibration or mental discomfort can all lead to perceptions that may not be accurate.

Hobbit Homes Well the camera Graham Jarvis was using probably had built in stabilization for a better viewing experience.
Cool music and aerial shots! Wish I could afford either bike.
Thanks Patrick.
I think it would be interesting to see a comparison of the two bike times after a couple runs on the track with each.
Good point at the end there, power isn't as big a deal anymore with the new technology bikes have now days, in fact I think to much power on technical shit is a hindrance....to much power equals not enough traction sometimes!
Correct.
but you got better
Thanks for making, and doing and awesome job on these videos! These are the most useful reviews I can find and pretty much the best comparison you could get
Thanks for supporting the channel Neal.
Great video!!! Speaks to the issue of the rider, not the bike... Well done!!!
In your video riding the same trail on your 300 you reached a personal best of 4:52 but you had previously only had a time of 5:17.

You’ve come along way with content his new videos are sick
Would love to see an updated version of the new bikes. On the fence between these two.
Agreed, cmon!
I am the same. I bleed orange but am thinking about switching up. I went sherco 300 but hate it. The clutch on the yz is a hindrance. What did you end up doing?
That is crazy! I always knew there wasn’t much difference but damn that is crazy!
I like your side by side comparisons. It’s easy to see the different characteristics of the bikes, in the different types of terrain you ride. 👍 I think I’d prefer the lower gearing of the YZ in this case, but I am an ogre so both would probably handle lighter and better than my current bike...

Sabanite it's not that the video is going to do it all justice because he might of felt better on the ktm but the video doesn't show that
Facts
very good test, same trail, same rider, shows really how the factories are doing their home work on off road bikes. So as always it's up to the rider
I have to agree with you on that.
Brilliant. Love the comparison between the two bikes. It is great.
Thanks for your support.
+Dirt Bike Channel No problem
wow great video demonstration Kyle is up there too awesome 👍🇬🇧
Try adding a Scott's steering damper. It helps with rocks or bikes with twitching steering.
Arrived at the same time, but did you feel less worn with one bike? Same tires?
Nice comparison.

I plan on doing that. Spoiler alert... the 300 smokes these bikes :)
Which front suspension did you like better. I like the KYB better.
What a great review format!
You count the stall
These side by side videos are cool! Interesting though, compared to your other videos of these two bikes, the Yamaha looked a bit more at home on this trail. It was hard to hear, but there was a more consistent 'on throttle' sound and by observation, looked a bit more compliant to your input. I would say that so far, your reviews of these two bikes have been consistent. Fantastic job! Keep it up!
Thanks for watching Ryan.

Ktms can cost about 10k dollars
That's an S-Works Specialized. lolol. but where is the location? LOVE it!

TheStackingNerd That sucks! What state are you in? You can easily go through South Dakota also.
Keep the vids coming guys, thanks
I totally agree. I'm a big guy. I had a 09 kx250 , put a 54 tooth sprocket on the rear and I raced some hare scrambles with it. I was weighing about 280LBS and the 250 took me anywhere I wanted to go.
qynsar now was the kx a four stroke or a two stroke? is it a kx250f? or a kx250? because if its a 2 stroke, that's a different story.
I have a question. Which bike did you have problems on?
Sooo, which one should i buy?
they both did really good on the trail
yeah, I think so too.
Great video!! I'm going between these two bikes right now, after a few years of riding them which would you recco?
I love the music, keep up with the amazing videos!! :)
Thanks Dakota!
Rider is 90% of the equation
Nailed it.
80%
Deciding between both of these bikes in 2021. Have rode Ktm all my life and don’t know which one to buy yet. Is there any changes in your opinion with the newer bikes?
best presentation!!! What a great video!! enjoyed it
Thanks for watching.
I'd like to see their two stroke counterparts do that and then compare the wining 2 stroke with the wining 4 stroke on the same trail.
Cool vid. For me times don't matter. All modern bikes are so close and so good. What matters is witch is more fun or easer to go fast on.
Very good point. Hit the nail on the head.
Awesome video man. I live in the Appalachian mountains and ride on my farm a lot, there's some fairly steep Hhills and they never look that bad on the gopro which is a shame. I can tell that's a pretty good trail you hit up there, good riding.

No doubt the KTM is a great bike, all of their bikes are, but I love my YZ250F. Not sure the price premium is worth the switch.
Hey just got a 2011 yz250f to start out motocross. I know it's an old bike but plan to do some upgrades :) can't wait
(Not my first bike)
2011 isn't that old. I'm sure you can dial it in to make it shine for you.
+Dirt Bike Channel of course. Just lucky that I can even have things like this
+R.J Jetskivids You should know that the year mean nothing! (Unless it's from the 80s) It's all about the rider. By the way, I race a KTM 450sx 2006, great bike! It's even better to see the face expression of those person on brand new efi bikes that finish behind me.
Old? Hell, I think my '08 Kx450f is new xD
I really like how much work you put into these videos. Did you use a drone for the shots in the beginning?
Yes, I used a drone there.
Debating whether to trade my '03 wr250f for an fx or a new wr ... Is the fx power more noticeable than the wr? I know you didn't compare those bikes on this video. But just wondering if you've rode both of them.

Would like a comparison with the Yamaha, Husky, Sherco, Beta, KTM. To bad Yamaha doesn't offer a 350 - 400.
If you want to see technical single track, come ride in New Hampshire :) can't believe the open expanse in the west
We've got some technical stuff out here, I can assure you. I'd love to make it to your neck of the woods some day too.
Which ones cheaper? Sounds like price is the determining factor...
Great stuff!
Million dollar question,
2 stroke or 4 stroke ?
Or more like witch one gives the better smile....
Even though, it's been proven just in time, we all know witch one is cheaper to run...
Id say 4 strokes give a great smile in more open terrain and the 2 strokes give a smile in all terrain. I love both and if rich would own one of each. But if only one it has to be a 2 stroke.
Can you or have you made a 250sx review video for enduro style riding?
I was leaning towards the yamaha. Now that you told me that the ktm is also less in weight, I'm thinking about getting a 2016 ktm250 xcf. Im coming off of a 2015 kx100. So weight is my biggest concern. Do you think I'm making the right choice? I mean you have both bikes and I would love to get some tips from you.
Love your videos!
Thank you Juan!
LMFAO
Thanks for watching brother! Keep saving up and you'll get there some day. We all go through the stage you are at in our lives.
yamaha is the best everywhere,everytime
Another great video from you Kyle! Which bikes suspension package feels the best front and rear in that terrain?
I feel more comfortable on the KTM, but the results don't bear that out.
Another interesting thing would be to get one of your buddies to ride both bikes and see what his times turn out to be.
I did. Sam did the runs behind me. He struggled on the Yami much more than I did. He hated the yami on this trail....
+Dirt Bike Channel thanks for the extra data, it's interesting how you are consistent regardless of the bike while he disliked the Yamaha so much.
Nice side by side test, loved your edit(you channel just keeps getting better!!!)
good content and editing is always NICE.
Lead in from the drone, nice touch. Did you fly the drone, or program a gps flight plan? Can't wait to see more drone footage to!!

thanks for the video.
Thanks for the support Brad.
I'm coming off a crf 150 and wondering if this bike would be suitable to upgrade up too because i race endure
That trail looks like it depends greatly on suspension. Where did you get yours done?
These bikes are both stock. Only set the sag on them.
I think that is insane that the time was the exact same
Hey :) I think these runs are very different :p i think it looks like you are hitting alot of rocks and stuff on the ktm and going smooth on the yamaha, so in my eyes I think you did a decent/great run on yamaha but had a "worse" run on the ktm. +Dirt Bike Channel forgot you had the 300. Is single track all you ride?
you mentioned the time for the YZ450F on that trail, did you have a time for the 300 XC?
I did a video comparing the 450 against the 300 last year. th-cam.com/video/d_sMdurNJ2s/w-d-xo.html
Now,, if we could go back to mid 80s prices ,, I could get one ot these bikes
But if wages went back to the 80, then we'd be back to square one :(
Great video! What was your time with the 300 on the Razorback?
I'm pretty sure it was 4:52.
+Dirt Bike Channel Why do you think you are faster on the 300?
Lighter, more agile and 2 stroke.
It's no mistake the top enduro riders are still on 2 strokes.
I've also recently had a chance to throw a leg over the 250FX and um well, I'll still with my 450 ;)
I prefer this bike over the 450s that I've had.
Maybe on a trail the FX would be more impressive, I tried it out on a track in stock form. That said I also tested the 450FX and 250X and I liked none of them...
Mind sharing where this trail is? Time to take our 300 on this trail!
That looked like a very awkward trail to ride, both Bikes were doing very well. The Yamaha seemed to be the more steady bike in speed and power.
did you get rid of your two stroke?
No way. I'm in love with my 300, can't get rid of those.
Which bike has more power
I say the Yamaha compensating suspension is why you had less rider error
which one you feel you have more traction?
They were pretty equal for that.
Thanks a lot Kyle, i just can´t wait for the ktm MY17 to get here in northern Mexico
why do the graphics look like 2017 bike.By the way I absolutely love your videos and I wish I could meet you.
You should get a Harley and put knobbies on it :)
+loopduplicate defiantly that would be awesome
I'm 5'8 so are these bikes good for me
dumb question, but why does it look like there's way more rocks and stuff on the trail for the Yamaha? different cameras? make it pick it up better? different times of day or different day? it was just bothering me. had to know lol
The sun was out during the run with the Yami. Then about 20-30 min later I rode the KTM with the sun behind the clouds. That is the only difference.
same day just a little later in the day. It also was partly cloudy that day.
+Dirtbike Channel Sam gotcha thanks! great vids! watch em all
What do you think of the new 150 xc for a beginner bike??
Sounds like a great place to start.
+Dirt Bike Channel or a 250 xc or xc-w what would you recommend?
Great video👍
dbc is this the only guy you have to do reviews?
Funny you should ask. I am the batman.
Torque and rpm is key to 4 strokes👍
Which 250 4 stroke would you recommend for a beginner?
CRF 250x. Personally, i think 250 is big for a first time rider but as long as you dont go over your limits you should do ok
By the way you have inspired me to make a dirt biking TH-cam channel so that will be coming out next year
Bye
do you have any how to wheelie tutorial? i cannot find the proper way to do it and its driving me crazy :( :o :/ . i Love your channel btw
No, to be honest, I'm not a great wheelie rider so I can't sit there and try to teach anyone else!
Thanks for answer. However you show many skills in your videos. I hope some day i improve mine as well. Keep filming!
You mentioned the KTM "feels" faster to ride , I wonder if that is why the mistakes happen on it because things feel like their coming at you faster ?
No because it was during the slow sections that I made mistakes. Probably because of the little bit higher gearing in 1st gear.
Oh okay gotcha ! It's really awesome that these bikes are so closely matched , It really gives riders the choice to just pick whichever bike they feel speaks to them without really sacrificing serious performance
I totally agree.
well now you need to do a 2017 YZ250x vs 2017 250XC and see how they match up
Can I get a line of credit from you?
How much power would the new 2016 WR250F have?
Like a Billion HPs.
You feel faster on a bike that isn't handling as well, if you are actually going same time and speed.
Great drone footage on the intro. What type of drone do you use and about how long to learn to do these these types of shots?
Phantom 3 Pro. It's not very difficult.
+Dirt Bike Channel great thanks! Btw outstanding vid, great comparison, can't wait to see the 300 side by side!
Could u do a video on how to get more power out of 2 strokes, Wa parts etc.
Put a pipe on it :) I'll have to think about that.
Good after seeing the third time video, I noticed that you're working more on KTM, more movement of arms, and less on yamaha, I think yamaha better absorbs the bad floor and is more stable and has more traction, perhaps extra weight help . KTM seems to be more bouncy and hard. hug.
Interesting observation. I don't feel that way when I'm riding though...
Also, it appears like the footage is "shakier" on the KTM, is that maybe a reflection of the suspension being smoother on the Yami?, or just working less with body/head movements?
what bike should I get I'm 5'1 and I'm thirteen I want a crf 150 or a kx 140 or the yz 250f
Codslayed132 shut up
Codslayed132 CRF150 all the way man! Or a KX100. Or any 85 YZ KX KTM RM.
Zach Stevens Do you know this kid? You sound real cool. Trying to pick on a 13 year old kid huh? You must be real popular LOL. Go watch your men's hair style videos like you normally do LOL! The kid asked a normal question! geez
You need some gimbals man.
I love the sound of the ktm
On my 06 Yamaha yz85 I have a problem where the bike will stall out if I put the bike into first without having the bike rolling. If my bike is standing still and I put it into first the bike will stall out immediately. So the bike needs to be rolling and then I can put it into 1st. Thank you if you know a solution to this problem!
Your clutch wire is probably worn out or your clutch spring are old.
My guess is that your bike is on the verge of stalling when it's in neutral. When you put it in gear, the wet clutch puts just a slight load on the motor which makes it stall.
loopduplicate thanks guys, will try to fix this!
+Moto Quadro same thing happened to me. Just adjust your clutch cable at the handle bars.
Mattheas Jamieson Sweet!
Yamaha probably has better suspension stock,The ktm suffered a bit compared to blue, hence the mistakes on the orange,I'm just speculating.
I felt better on the KTM. Gearing on this trail favors the Yami and that might have been the difference maker for me.
+Dirt Bike Channel I see...Thanks for the feedback and Video!
