It would been great if you spoke into the microphone, the volume on my iPhone was at the maximum and could hardly hear you. I watched by curiosity, the electronic machine didn't interest me as I have the Punch card system. My GC and knitting machine are dated back in 1986. Thanks for taking the time to explain to the viewers. That was nice of you.

Hello! this video was so helpful. I was wondering if the garter carriage would work the same if I had every other needle in work. (if I wanted to make a mock rib or ladders)

It would work only if you had the second lever set to knit one way. If it is set to knit back and forth it does not work with needles out of work. I think you also must totally remove the needles not in work! That is so the gc turn around feet don't catch on the needle in a and turn the gc around.

I have a KH 950 and my garter carriage does not read the cards and if it does. It does not read it properly. The pattern come out a mess. Any advice on how to fix that? Same thing with the normal carriage.

i did everything you did. the light didn't come on when i slid the GC on and it goes to the right. i have a KG-89.

Do you have the magnet sensors in the back of the gc? They are necessary when using an electronic km (except for the 970).
