Your yard looks like a Ford dealership Randy
In some state, if you park so many car in your property that in residential zone, the state will forced you to lease a commercial zone and filed a state license with department of revenue. also if you have a repair facility you need another license and pay taxes.
Luckily this house was approved by the county, and the city for commercial use. And as for licenses - the entire property is licensed as a used car dealership with commercial insurance on the cars and the property. As a dealer I’m not required to tag these cars and I can park them anywhere I want.
@@stevenreynolds2327 depends on your state's auto dealer rules. In my state, they don't allow parking on grass.
I'm jealous of it. lol
the Ford Raptor SVT!
Touchscreen Calibration: press and hold the CD eject button and then SEEK UP at same time for about 5-10 seconds. This will put the unit into diagnostics mode and it does a speaker test. After the speaker test is complete a menu will show up. Now press and hold the seek down button until the calibration screen appears. After following the instructions for calibration, press anywhere on the screen to exit. It is now calibrated properly and you may exit back to the main screen.
Thank you
Excellent raptor and the stock wheels tires
This is Sting generation one none of what you're saying applies
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds Did that fix it?
@@ubeuonly Nothing of what you said applies, so delete your comment.
The fact that a 11 year old raptor with a clapped interior crappy wheels and front bumper 247k miles and listed as a bad transmisiion brought 14k at AUCTION is a serious testament to how well these things hold value. Badass truck
a low mileage one with good condition here in canada still holds about the same value as if they were brand new, around 50-60k.
The blacked out military badge is the Combat Infantryman Badge. The badge is awarded to infantrymen and Special Forces soldiers in the rank of colonel and below, who fought in active ground combat while assigned as members of either an Infantry or Special Forces unit of brigade size or smaller at any time after 6 December 1941. The smaller one is a service ribbon. Not sure what for,
You beat me to it. I am a Combat Infantry Veteran. I think the service ribbon is the South east Asia service ribbon. They were for Afghanistan and Iraq. I have that one also.
Dont let the high miles scare you, I've got 300k on my 09 and runs great, doesn't leak or use any oil.
200k is not bad on these trucks, has hundreds of thousands of miles left
Nice looking truck. If was having a trans problem it most definitely can be the tire size throwing off speed sensors and shift points.
Man! Your Raptor looks so much better with the proper wheels.
I would put a factory front bumper on the Raptor that after market one in my opinion takes away from the truck. As far as the blower speed I would replace the blower motor resistor my 2010 Ford Expedition limited had the same issue and that resolved the problem. My Expedition has over 247,000 and it’s still going strong it’s all about maintenance the Raptor is a keeper.
the military items are from the us army. The rectangle badge with gun and wreath is combat infantry badge, the ribbon looks like an army achievement medal. One of the previous owners likely served in army infantry career field.
You should put those chrome rims from the raptor on your 2018 I think it would make it look a lot better than those factory steelies
The fan issue is a common Ford thing.
There is a resistor behind the glove box or next to the blower motor that needs replaced, and it'll fix the problem
The actual fix is to change your cabin ac filter every 20k miles
The truck came from Gwinnett County, GA. Metro Atlanta on the north end. I live on the southside in Fulton County. I live like 25 miles away via the Atlanta Downtown Connector.
The big dealerships here kick high mileage older vehicles (trade ins) to auction. Most of the time those vehicles have multiple mechanical and body issues. The dealer will not tie no more than $5,000 on average in a car that they know they will lose on profit.
In Randy's Raptor case, someone traded it in. The dealer kicked it to auction due to the issues that Randy stated. If the dealer was to sell it, they would have to tie over $10,000 in repairs because big dealerships do not buy aftermarket parts for cars that they sell. If Randy got it for $14k then the dealer would sell it for almost $30k if not more no matter the mileage. It would be a cash deal only but either way, its all about profit. A clean example of a 2012 Ford Raptor that we had for sell had like 65k miles one owner and not modified. Nalley Toyota sold it for $41k.
I live in Clayton county which is about an hour away from Gwinnett County
@@chrisaldridge954 Yes, in traffic which is horrible.... It literally does take an hour just to go 25-30 miles to Gwinnett.
I'm not a Ford man but I do admire and respect their vehicles. My uncle had the first gen Harley Davidson f150 and boy hopping on the freeway felt like a rollercoaster. Nice truck my friend, still has plenty of life left in her.
I would recommend that you change your two differential fluids and transfer case!
Truck sounds great
That’s a sweet Raptor. I definitely think it was worth buying. It looked so goofy with those Lariat wheels. 😂 I know the fuel economy sucks, but think about how much money you’ll be SAVING over paying the Ram 3500 note if you chose to keep this as replacement. Always find the positives 😅
I could not agree more.
Agreed I didn’t think 250,000 miles on a 2014 car is a good idea in my opinion after 2011 or 2012 everything started to become crap. I could think about to many trunks I would rather buy for 14 or 16k that be bought it for
I think it's a great price I'm betting high milage is becouse alot of hwy miles driven looks to be really taken care of over all l think u got a pretty good deal dude..best of luck with it..alittle TLC overall will even look better
The white one for the work truck and the red one for the fun truck. The one that would put a smile on your face.
Finally the mysterious Raptor! Sweet! Congratulations on 400k subs Randy 💪
For the touchscreen, go ahead and take the battery post off the battery take a positive battery post off and touch it to the negative leave the battery unplugged for five minutes that will re-calibrate your touchscreen on your Ford
That is awesome you found original factory takeoffs for the Raptor.👍
Randy you don't have to make excuses for what you buy you know what you're doing look at all you have , because you're smart and you know what you're doing. 👍
You have really grown in this business. I am happy for you!
The Raptor still has big balls even with the milage. You got a damn good deal on it Randy. KEEP IT!
6.2L can go to 500K, even as a work truck.
yea 200k miles is nothing on f-150
I love chrome wheels but I think the raptor wheels actually do look better.
Your Raptor has a wicked exhaust note.
a truck used as a truck is refreshing
Love the raptor how about putting those chrome wheels on your white truck
I think it's a great truck and buy for the mileage and age. The puff of smoke on startup is probably just the valve stem seals, it was very common on the 80's Ford Escort here in Europe with the 1.6 CVH engine, i believe it's nothing to worry about. Awesome sound of the 6.2 V8 and Raptor rims did the icing on the cake. Great video Randy 😊👍 Greetings from a Ford fan 😊
Now that's a nice truck! Disconnect the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes then plug it back in and see if that helps.
the truck has tons of life left, what a beautiful vehicle, would choose the 2018 with long bed as your work truck, thanks for another great video, have a great day sir
Randy, I will say, my employer has a very large fleet and all 3/4 tons have the 6.2 and they've been dead reliable. We've put them through idling for hours at a time, pulling equipment on trailers, hauling heavy loads in the bed, and they have handled it all. I honestly can't think of any time they've needed extensive repairs. The high miles wouldn't phase me a bit on that engine. That'll be one hell of a truck.
Helps especially if your crew has their own fuel depot so the owner has full control of the quality of fuel they get. Made a huge difference on the farm I was raised on.
@carlbernard4197 That's heavily dependent on the office. I will say our maintenance system has to be spot on, though. You get alerts and written up if it's not done on time. Before these, we had mostly 6.0 Powerstrokes and honestly they held up better than you'd think as well.
I have always liked those older raptors, but like you said prices are still high on them. Someone spent a fortune on gas at 10mpg and putting 247k miles on it. At 3 dollars a gallon that $74,000. Probably paid more in gas than the truck cost new.
Black Taurus is a police interceptor, 3.5 3.7 AWD pursuit handling package.
That is a nice Raptor for $14,000!!! 👍
its crazy what vehicals are still going for.
Vehicles*
Raptor is the way to go randy👍 a little bit of touches and the beast us good to go! love from Kenya Africa!
The tag should have been removed from that when it was traded in. Georgia tags do not stay with the vehicle, in Georgia the tag stays with the owner and can be transferred to another vehicle. (I live in Georgia).
Even with that amount of mileage it still has a lot of life left. I see guys with well over 300k on gen1 raptors which is why they have held their value really well
Hey Randy keep in mind those wheels were smaller and may have contributed to higher miles being the wheels doing more rotations than a bigger wheel and may have been the transmission problem they were stating
I think the previous owner had a really nice set of custom wheels on the truck. The wheels that we saw on the Raptor are probably off of a friend of the previous owner’s truck, or whoever he sold them to. I traded in my lifted dodge ram dually under similar conditions.
Those wheels haven't been on their long trust me.
The owner before must have been a Army soldier. I saw a CIB (Combat Infantry Badge) stuck in the headliner and the town that the last oil change was done is by Ft. Benning, Ga. an Army post.
When I see the wheels on the truck from your Instagram page I knew immediately why it was cheap.😂😂😂
As for the choice for a work truck; The long bed 5.0. Raptor can't tow/haul much compared to the other two. The 3.5 ecoboost is a decent engine, but you'd be better served doing work with a naturally aspirated 5.0 V8 long bed. More cargo capacity, and better towing because of longer wheelbase.
Backseat Headrests were possibly taken out for better visibility from rear view mirror.
The bumper is by Addictive Desert Designs, and is a high dollar unit.
Hearing the start of that Raptor makes you forget a little about a broken lift. For now, that lift is "as dead as a doornail!"
Quite a bummer about the lift 😢. I thought the Wildfire lifts are rated for 9000 pounds? Think the Raptor is under that limit.
Nice truck they definitely put it to use. Should definitely do a full inspection, but this should last you a while if they took care of it.
It was probably totaled by hail, he said so in the last video...
You’re so right about that first ding on my new Ram😢😢Love the Raptor
If it was me personally i would keep all 3 trucks because with what you have into them you can have your work truck white one the raptor for fun and the silver one for when you want to go somewhere with the family and if one breaks down no problem you have another two its a thought for you 28:04
being form Poland and driving Peugeot 308 T9 .. that red raptor speaks to my soul ;)
I bought my 2012 F150 at Gwinnet Place Ford back in 2015. Mine was "only" a FX2, but had most of the features of that raptor. Heated/cooled seats, sony stereo, navigation. Had the 3.5 ecoboost. Fuel economy wasn't much better than the raptor.
I love fords I'll keep watching ur videos
I’m not going to stop watching this channel
FORD F YEAH
I love your videos. Very inspiring. Greetings from Ghana 🇬🇭
Well done on your newest purchase .great score
Toasty ass while Randy takes me to Starbucks for a coconut milk latte.
Awesome.
Thanks for the video, Randy.
Raptors are cool, but honestly I think I like the normal grill from this generation of F150 to the ones they put on the raptor. I know I'm probably in the minority with that opinion, but oh well.
Sad to hear that this truck probably got hit in a hail storm! Shame, it seems like a good truck.
Randy I would give it a full tune up!! might help the fuel economy 👌
Fan speed stuck is common issue the blower resistor over heats and more than likely you will have to replace it and get a new wiring harness cause its probably overheated and melted a little and will cause i new one to fail prematurely
Here me out, what if you rebuild a minivan??
Nah that’s boring!
Hear*
Said nobody ever
What for?
Hey Randy it's Duluth, Georgia but use the raptor for hauling cars and it's you new work truck and you're awesome
I have a 2014 with 70k miles and love it. She just sits in the garage gas is $6 a gallon here.
Congrats on the Raptor!! The correct wheels look much better. The truck is broken in. Good price too.
Nice, good it has the 6.2 good for 500k+ plenty of aftermarket wheels that are close to raptor wheels.
Hey Randy, another winner, in my opinion! Best looking one! Love the color! For that price, I think you have another score! You want to rotate those trucks according to what you’re doing! longer hauls go for the one with better mileage. Heavy hauls more torque etc.
Steering wheel probably had a center marking ring like racers.
Nice Truck!!!! When you went on your drive ya shoulda hit the OK Button on your steering wheel and see if your MPG went up.
Randy I hope you find a rolled over parts truck u might be able to swap rims and simble it would nice to get the oem rims back for it. I like this one red very Nice!
Gwinnet place is close to me in Duluth GA. I'm about 40 minutes from Gwinnet place mall.
Nice truck Randy! The only thing I don’t like is the aftermarket bumper, it would really tie it all together with a stock front bumper!!
Try checking the cabin air filter,I had a vehicle that was like stuck on low,I took the filter out, that looked like it had never been changed, and i had all speeds,I think it was so clogged that it felt like it was on low...could possibly be the problem..
Honestly keep the raptor to drive around and use the 2018 f150 as a work truck
It's a nice truck, it sucks that the Raptor wheels aren't on it, but still a great deal 😀🤘🏽🔥❤️
Plenty of raptor wheel options in Az for the same price as any higher end takeoffs. Wheels and tires anywhere 1000-4000. Wheels only 500 bucks
Just got a 2013 SVT Raptor a little while ago so far it has been an awesome truck. Very comfortable plenty of power to have fun. Always looks for excuses to go drive it.
Love the raptor. It's my dream truck. I have a 07 f150 fx2. It's only 2w drive. But oh so comfortable to ride in.
For a work truck, the previous owner looks like he maintained it fairly well. I’m guessing he had some expensive aftermarket wheels on it. Look for a service that can fix that digitizer on the touchscreen. Hopefully the burnt out lightbulb isn’t one of those $600 LEDs! I’m still liking that stole silver truck. The old Mercedes Diesel is my favorite. Ugly damn car, but she’s got character. Just a cool car!
Randy that is one nice Raptor buddy. If I were you I would daily drive the hell out of that beauty. You can lose on it! And it really suits you as well...👍🙂👍
I have 6.2L F150 Platinum - Best truck on the planet. I would keep that puppy. Also got a great deal. Sounds just like mine! Just broken in!
The wheels make the truck looks even better
With the "new" rims it look so much better, its a great work truck, adress those little things and its good to go.
Miles is not a reason to be afraid.
The white truck would be my pick if it didn't have that tick. That is concerning. Personally, I would pull the motor out of the Raptor and put it in the white truck. Lol. That 6.2 with that 10-speed transmission. You would be good to go. But, Overall I would have to choose the Raptor as a daily driver.
Could it be the wheel size causing the transmission issues?
I have experienced this problem when I was still working as a technician
Hi Randy ,congrats on the 400K subscribers ! 👍👊
Thanks 👍
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds 👍
Good morning Randy. The 2012 Ford F150 Raptor is a good looking truck. Well let's see if it will run and drive with supposedly transmission problems.
If I had to pick one of the three Ford trucks, I would pick the RAM! ;)
Randy, you are the busiest TH-camr I folow! Keep up the good work and great videos! I hope you get rest Brother!
It's aged better than I thought it would, I looked at a Raptor in '13, seats annoyed me, bought a Tundra instead.
Pop the hood and look at that shitshow of a mess (ecoboost), do you really want to work on that?!
The Raptor is cool, but I'd keep the '18. With what you've got in the Raptor, you aught to be able to sort out all the issues, and still flip it for a decent profit.
Personally, I love the Fords, keep em coming!
Its really nice that raptor 🤩, i think if you can fix the white f150 it would be the greatest work truck for you
the 2 cons with the truck is the chrome wheels and the slightly worn interior. but other than that the truck is solid
Vary awesome indeed. Nice job on getting the Ford Raptor. Keep up the great work.
keep the raptor Randy I think in the long run if you give it some love it may appreciate, its funner and if you sell all the others, you still have a sub 20k excelent truck with all the luxurys and that can haul anything
The Raptor is a really nice truck
That’s a sweet Raptor. For a work truck, the previous owner looks like he maintained it fairly well. I’m guessing he had some expensive aftermarket wheels on it.
F250 has same problems screen has a relay on passenger side unplug it for 30 seconds then you recalibrate touch screen ac stuck on high is the ac blower control module also on passenger side under dash.
Might wanna see what the programmed tire size is for it. It couldve been having issues because they didnt program the small tires to it
35x12.5" BF Goodrich ties are what came on it
But if they had the small tires on for awhile and didn't program it, it could cause trans issues
Honestly we love the ford content but i think people were getting board because of the basic f150 but looks like you got a winner a 12 raptor f150 definitely liked the video and i loved it
You may have scored a bargain here. The Raptor is a well made truck. Dual exhausts were not standard. Pull the cow catcher. Finally, get appropriate sized wheels and tires.
Red raptor looks and sounds mean! Sounds nice. Wow!
Love my old man step.
