Aquaponics System For Beginners
a Simple Goldfish and aquaponics waterfall Setup
Aquaponics is a merge of aquaculture - fish farming, and hydroponics - growing plants in a water medium, aquaponics brings you the best of both worlds.
Water containing goldfish waste provides plants with nutrients needed for their vigorous growth. In return, the plants take up excess nitrogen, providing purified water which goes back into the tank.
To tell the whole story, I have to point out that there is a third crucial living community within an aquaponic system - the microbial community. The beneficial nitrifying bacteria are usually contained within a suitable biofilter.
By combining and connecting these different living communities, you can create a closed, self-sustaining system which can give you diverse plant and animal produce, and a lot of enjoyment while you’re growing it.
This concept of a Water fall Setup using the Aquaponics concept is very easy
This can also be looked at as a terrarium or a paludarium setup also

I was going through a bad phase of my life and I was not interested in anyone. My parents were worried so they suggested me to start a new hobby... One day I was told to get an aquarium as this helps us in depression... So one day while returning from office I got a 1cubic feet aquarium with 6 Mollies ... And now I have 3 aquariums. I spend a lot of time with them, playing, decorating and sometimes also i talk to them...

Few quarries came to my mind while going through that video...
1. Yours Aquarium is kept near the door... Though not so close but being open must get dust particles in the dry season... Do you cover your tank...
2. Size of yours Tank...in feets
3. Since You use so called best products in the market for aquarium... Does your fish also die in certain cases... what are those cases....
4. What to do... how to clean our Aquarium if a fish died in the aquarium...
5. Home treatment for fish not feeding properly...as one of my Red Cap fish is not eating...i observed... If by mistake some food gets into its mouth it exale it out back... Will it be fine...
6. Can we give egg yolk to fish like fish babies when they are not eating...
7. After how many days and how much water should we change with respect to different filters available in market....
8. How external filters... Though looks bulky is better than in water filter...
I know so many questions...
But I request you to make a video on the queries sir plz on a show name #AskMayurDev since I FOUND YOUR VIDEO MORE HELPFUL than any other video on any other channel... Plz reply but make a video insteed... Will be more helpful and all time available as after a time it gets messy to find answered coments...

1. No we do not cover the tank, yes there is dust but our filter is very good
2. 4 X 1.5 x 1/2
3. Yes they do, the products extend the life but cannot cheat death, all living things will die, all the normal causes, nd mostly age
4. We remove the fish
5. That is normal for them to do that, it means the size of the food needs to be smaller than what you are feeding now
6. Yes you can
7. dependant on the food, fish and filter, ideally 2 time a week 10 - 30%
8. External are better
Not sure I can make a video on this, as I have covered most of these points in my videos already
this said, come up with a real interesting idea and I will surely think about it

He is a fish farmar...and use to give dafniya and home made chapati to guppies....tell me something plz... And I liked thad u just reply the queries...plz dont get irritated... Iam a bit querious and exited about fishes... And a suggestion as well make a video series of #AskMayurDev and pick comments having that hastags... Hope u will like this idea... Very good and inspiring video. I have a collection of gold fish, guppies, mollies, a few danios, gaurami, and tilapias.. Not a commercial venture. As in yr deedi"s case, number of fishes increased. I want to try this with moneyplant and gold fish for starters... My balcony doesnt get much sunlight in the winter. And in the summer its too hot. Can i keep the aquaphonics setup in the living area... pls advise... what about the lighting in the setup...
